As is anything burned these are bitter and gross. Why not have those under the cheese? Or if you want a nice add on top in red maybe chop them up finer and add a sprinkling of them on last? Overall though the flavors worked and the ricotta balls as an appetizer are so good! I mean crispy melty deep fried cheese balls! Who can say no to that? I'm giving 4/5 stars for food quality due to the burned ... CHARRED tomatoes and 5/5 for the freshness.
