According to help, this is the best pizza in the Hornell area, so we took a short drive to canisteo, the girl was really nice and helped me out with curbside delivery because I'm on cutches at best, and it was a fantastic pizza pie. Fresh, and they actually got the cheese all the way out to the crust which is kind of a common mistake with pizzerias when that stuff shrinks up and you just end up with sauce and 3 in of bread. UPDATE ** I reached out to them via FB and they refunded my card. (Changed from 2 star to 4 bc of this) I was so excited after reading the reviews. I called in a take out order for a Stromboni at 830, I asked if they still were doing takeout and she said yes. I picked up my order by 850 and when I got home I was so sad. The dough on the bottom is raw and it's cold in the middle. If there wasn't enough time to cook then don't take the order. Very sad. read more

We have ordered from here 1-2 times a week the past month. The food is always good hot, orders are correct and everything we have had from Chicken Wings to Subs always taste delicious. They make a pretty good pizza and they have my favorite kind of pepperoni. Some call it, "pop-and-char". its those smaller pepperonis that kinda curve upward and get a little charred around the edges when cooked! YUM!!! Also, we like their Krony sauce for wings. Its like a country sweet sauce. Lastly, its been a while since we ordered the fried cauliflower, but it was always good! You and your Kronys should all come out and check out Krony's pizza in Spencerport. If you are from Norway, then it may be okay to pay with Krona instead of dollars. But first you'd have to know how to spell your own currency right, which apparently I don't. I wasn't amazed by the pizza from here, but my friend certainly liked it. They also had good, cheap prices. They served it to me nice and hot. It was a decent size slice. It tasted good, the sauce and cheese and pep and crust were all more than satisfactory. Good service, nice guys in there. And oh my goodness, some of the clientele looked like beauty queens from "Real Housewives of Miami" (not that I watch that) or "MTV's Cancun Spring Break" (not that I watch that). (Is that even a show). Then again all of the West Burbs of Rochester including Spencerport seem to be a hot-people fest, maybe because it's a wealthy area and the locals are spending lots of money on their appearance? I guess I should have known better than to order a "Friday night fish fry" from a pizza place! They did advertise "famous fish fry" and I like giving "mom and pop / local" places my business, but come on!!! You can't advertise a "Famous" Friday night fish fry in Rochester NY and then serve people a "edible" piece of FROZEN battered fish out of a freggin box and think they are going to be happy with it! Thought I would try a new place and tonight I lost! Stick with what works in upstate NY, Brewskies or Dakota! It's not that hard to make a beer batter and cook fresh fish in upstate NY... Many good things to say about the Krone Zone. They have even stepped up their game since my high school days. The beer and wine is a major addition. Instead of always wanting to take-out or scarf & run, it now is more of a hangout spot. We have had many a low-key, inexpensive "date night" here over a nice brew. My boyfriend is a calzone officionado. Here they call it a "stromboli", because sauce is baked inside along with the fillings. But he likes it and it's all he ever orders. Being myself a connoisseur of Caesarian salads, I have to give them high marks. Everything is fresh and they give you plenty of chicken. I also like their fries, wings, Buffalo chicken wraps, and of course...their pizza. The sauce is flavorful, and the crust is a good, chewy medium thickness. As some other reviewers have pointed out, they use the little nickel-sized pepperonis. To me this is a nice change and gives a lot of toothiness to the slab. Last time, however, I ordered a personal Hawaiian (ham & pineapple). Nothing too fancy, but very well-executed and served piping hot to our booth. 2 small drawbacks- they have an outdoor seating area in the back, but it is a small space that is enclosed by a high wooden fence. You want to enjoy the weather, but end up feeling a trifle claustrophobic. Being so close to the park, you wish they had a more scenic al fresco section. Secondly, I think the staff gets a little caught up making delicious grub and sometimes the cleanliness of the dining area suffers. Granted, people should be picking up after themselves...COUGH. Even so, no one enjoys being surrounded by trash, so they could run a few more sweeps. Fix those 2 things and this is a five-star review. Great food, expansive menu with anything your munching little heart desires. read more

A solid Spencerport lunch spot. I really like their Buffalo Chicken Wing pizza (it does have celery bits in it if you don't like that kind of thing). You can get a large slice and a small fountain drink for $4.50. If you get a salad with a drink, your lunch will run closer to $9. It takes a few minutes to come out, and there are some other places around that have better, cheaper, faster service, but Krony's is a good spot to eat in to get out of the office for a bit. After you order they give you a number holder to put on your table, and bring it out to you. They have outdoor seating as well in the back of the restaurant. read more

Krony's serves very good quality "pizza fare". Their pizza is best described as Rochester Style. Not thin like NYC but not too thick either. Just right. Plus the pizza has flavor. You can taste the sweet tomatoes with the nice blend of Italian spices. (Some places the pizza is tasteless and bland, I'm talking to you M--k's). Krony's does it right with just enough spice. I also ordered a meatball sub. Thank you for serving me, in shop made and cooked meatballs. Very tasty. Roll was toasted and cheese was melted. Well prepared. All in all not a great experience today. Pizza was good but ice cold upon delivery, ordered hot Kronys sauce on the wings came with handful of crushed red pepper so hot couldn't even eat them. Also ordered garlic knots that weren't delivered with order either then called to ask about knots and got attitude from person who answered the phone. So much for customer service!! Hard to find quality food anymore so sad. read more

Hellfire pizza was delicious, as were the hot Buffalo wings, but DO NOT order online for delivery!! It goes through Yelp and Grubhub. They literally put the food on the front porch without ringing the doorbell, knocking, or texting so it sat there in the freezing cold and had to be reheated. I found it over 2 HOURS after the order was placed (tried to call but 10+ minute wait). DJs did nothing wrong - we order pickup there normally and it's hot and delicious when we eat it at home. I don't normally tip online but select cash - soooo glad I did cuz this fool didn't deserve one even though I had a 10 spot ready. I miss the days of "regular" pizza, delivery guys that worked for the restaurant and wanted repeat business! read more

I ordered the concord chicken salad to-go for lunch and was disappointed. This salad is a bed of mixed greens with candied walnuts, dried cranberries, crumbled bleu cheese, and concord grape dressing. Overall, the taste of the flavors together was pretty good, but the prep of the salad was what made it disappointing. First, my salad had red onion on it which was not in the description on the menu. Regardless, my biggest complaint was the wilted greens. The greens were clearly old and most greens in the salad were just mush. I am disappointed that someone would look at that lettuce and feel comfortable serving it to a customer. read more

I recently moved to Spencerport and tried Krony's for the first time tonight. I ordered a medium cheese and pepperoni pizza with an order of medium buffalo wings and it was the best I've had in a very long time! The pizza was a medium thickness crust cooked to a nice crisp, perfect topping ratios and full of flavor. I ordered the wings well done and for some reason no place I ever go actually cooks them well. They came out well done, nice and crispy with a true thick medium buffalo wing sauce. The atmosphere was very comfortable and clean, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The large variety menu looked great as well as beers on tap. There was also some fantastic looking dessert in the cooler that I'll definitely be trying. Excellent job! Can't wait to try more. read more

I really enjoy their pizza, good unique sauce with a chewy crust. I love it when you could just est the crust of a pizza because it's cooked so perfectly. Now their wings are good, their buffalo sauce is very traditional with a good mix of butter and hot suace. They also have good sweet and sour wings, they have a little heat which I enjoy. Wings could be cooked a couple minutes to keep the crisp on them a little longer. read more

This review is strictly judging the FOOD ONLY, not the actual business as I don't really eat in the restaurant, I just order it out, but I digress. Krony's! I can say that Krony's pizza has it's own unique taste to it which is something that I haven't found at any Salvatore's or Pontillo's. I only get the cheese and the white pizza but just based on those two alone, I want to say all of the food s just as good! The white pizza has a lot of garlic flavor to it so it's mostly an acquired taste but if you like white pizza in general, you will not be disappointed. I myself however, no longer eat the white pizza, it was to much garlic for my standards even though it was delicious. The cheese on the other hand was more of the pizza that I enjoy. While most pizza places I've noticed put more cheese on than they do sauce, Krony's manages to find the right balance between the sauce and the cheese...most of the time! When tasted fresh, the triangular result is much more than I could have imagined. I recommend exploring the other options Krony's has though, one pizza alone isn't enough to judge a whole menu. I will say that the pizza doesn't taste as good when reheated after being saved as leftovers but the same could be said for all pizza's...it's the microwave taste, nothing more nothing less. I still alternate every Saturday on which pizza to get just to make it more exciting each time around but Krony's is still on the higher spots on my list when the weekend comes around. Is it the best pizza I've had? Well, no...I have yet to find that special place but for the time being, this will satisfy my cravings. read more

We stumbled upon this place just as we were craving pizza. We saw their Pizza Pizza Pizza sign hanging on the fence surrounding their outdoor eating area and thought, why not?! What a good decision! The pizza was excellent! Good crust, good sauce and fresh mushrooms! The wings were crispy and overdone, just as we had requested and we shared a delicious dinner salad with candied walnuts, strawberries, feta and grilled chicken. I was recently at Krony's in Hamlin so decided to try this location since I was in the area. We had small pizza with bacon and roasted peppers also got 18 wings. The wings came out perfect just as I expected it will be. The pizza on the other hand was a different story. The bacon was barely cook, you can still see the fat and the color was so pale it looked disgusting. When I lift the pizza up all of the toppings just slide through. We requested to have a new one done. But they gave us the same pizza just a bit burned this time. Definitely not impressed. Krony's in Hamlin is better. read more

My 3 year old son and I stopped here on our way home. I had the cheeseburger plate and my son had grilled cheese and fries. 10 minutes after we started eating I had a wicked stomach ache, I didn't say anything because I didn't want my son to say his hurt all of a sudden. I pushed my plate away, soon after that my baby started to complain that his stomach hurt. Made the 25 minute drive home, my son had diarrhea and I have been throwing up. I ordered a meatball sub. Took along time and it came to table overcooked. My friend ordered French Onion soup. It came without spoon. No napkins I had to go to desk and ask for some. Remade meatball sub. The bread was cold and meatballs weren't even room temperature. There wasn't anyone else in there so there is no excuse to this service. I couldn't eat it and wrapped it back up and put it in my own oven. Very disappointed in your restaurant. We passed a dozen places we could've eaten at as we were in Greece before heading home to Spencerport. We thought we would show our support in our hometown. read more

I grew up in the area, and when I moved to Buffalo 18 years ago, the one thing I missed was Krony's! There are lots of good pizza joints in Buffalo, but none of them measured up. I'm back in Spencerport now and loving it! The people who work there are very friendly, even when the place is super-busy. They have several types of pizza sauce, pink is my favorite, it's a combo of their regular red sauce and their white garlic sauce, WHOA! If you like garlic, you'll love it! I think I have tried almost every item on their menu, wings, subs, salads, you name it, I've NEVER been disappointed with anything I've ordered. read more

I don't know where to begin.... Krony's blew me away. Absolutely shook to the core. From the beginning I felt soooooo welcome and loved, as if I were being swaddled by my mother, except my mother isn't a warm, delicious, Krony pie. My brother ordered a Krony burger, assuming it would be your average cow puck. When our charming waiter arrived with our meals our mouths began salivating like Pavlov's dog when he hears the sweet ringing of a bell. My brother had to unhinge his jaw like an African anaconda (not referring to the Nicki Minaj song) to manage the mighty, juicy, and delicious Krony burger. A quick trip to excel care for minor jaw surgery made it all worth it. The food was so succulent that a fellow couple of patrons were so engrossed in their meal not one word was spoken throughout the ENTIRE consumption of a large Krony pie. My lucky 32 table number, generously given to me by the employee on duty, made a perfect Krony fly smacker to combat the never ending colonies of flies, can't blame them, Kronys is an exceptional dining facility for all flies, humans, African anacondas, and most likely life from another planet. I hope Kronys caters to prison for my last meal when I go into cardiac arrest. I was not surprised when Guy Fieri and his entire camera crew greeted me at the door when filming triple D. Overall stellar dining experience. Will bring the wife, kids, and family dog. read more
