I've given this nail salon 2 chances since it's so close to where I live .... But never again! I went back as a way to support them as they just reopened but I urge you to stay away. I left with multiple cuts, super thick gel polish, and acrylic all over my fingers. My nails were stuck to my skin and no matter how nicely I tried to ask the tech to fix them, she just didn't know how. At the end, after paying and leaving a 15% tip, I asked the tech in charge what she thought about my nails and she said: "they look reasonable to me". I've been getting my nails done for 20+ years and this was the most painful appointment I've ever had. I am disappointed in myself for not standing up midway and just leaving. At the end, there was acrylic stuck to my skin and I asked her if I could remove it with a cuticle cutter. She yanked it from me and told me she could do it. This used to be a good place for nails but service has gone way down. The whole time I was there for a gel fill recently the women were yapping loudly in Vietnamese. My tech stopped what she was doing to yap with them numerous times, plus to answer the phone and stopped to speak with clients entering of leaving or paying substantially delaying the whole process. Then she had the nerve to tell me that doing my nails was taking too long. ( no broken nails, just a fill ) Maybe if she would pay attention to my fill and not trying to gossip with the girls, etc, she could have completed the job in half the time. I chose light grey and now I have a dark grey/purple with glitter. Plus On the 9th day of having nails done, gel completely pops off of one of my nails? The rest don't look far behind. I had a $10 off code to use for Groupon so I decided to purchase a gel manicure and pedicure offer for Dk Nails. Gel Manicure (1/5): this was one of the worst gel manicures I've gotten. The lady was very stingy with her layering, so after 4 layers my polish was still slightly see-through but she said she couldn't add any more (she was originally about to let me walk out with 3 layers only which was super see-through). I was supposed to have a pretty sky blue color like the sample, but it didn't turn out like that at all. Pedicure (4/5): the pedicure was good, and the lady gave my a nice massage. I also wasn't allowed to use the massage function on my chair because the lady apparently couldn't do my nails when it was one, this has never happened at any other nail salon, so that was disappointing. My experience felt slightly rushed and not relaxing at all except for the massage part. Overall I wouldn't recommend this nail salon, the only reason why they get a 2 is because I only paid $25 for the Groupon and the lady who did my pedicure was really nice. read more

Very unhappy with their service. First of all they have the worst attitude. As soon as you open your mouth to say how you want your nails to look like, they will interrupt you and tell you that they know what they're doing. Very rude. You can't even have an opinion about what you want. Nobody acknowledges you when you walk in. They all start looking and staring at you and start talking vietnamese with one another. Customer service is horrible and unprofessional. I don't know why I paid so much tips everytime I went there eventhough I was unhappy with their work. The gel manicure doesn't last more than a week. They never start ontime, if you have an appointment get ready, they will stare at you for the first 15 minutes of your appointment. There is no concept of time. read more

I wish I could give this place a better rating but my experience here wasn't so great. I decided to come here because my coworker referred me to here. I usually go to HB to get my nails done because it's a cheaper price and they're usually very clean. I picked out a color that was S #29 and it looked absolutely nothing like the display. Not only that, the nail tech decided to cut and pull my cuticles again towards the end and it cut my index finger. I decided to give her a good tip just because I don't want to be a bitch about it. I'm going to avoid going to the this salon just because i prefer HB and have had better experiences elsewhere. read more

The women spoke Vietnamese to each other about me and other clients there the whole time I was there, not knowing I understood. There were two women working on my pedicure and manicures. I was insulted numerous time in Vietnamese. Called me a moron in Vietnamese when I accidentally touch the towel with my freshly polished nails. She would then complimented me on my hair in English. I've been to this location before for a pedicure. There was no warrant for complaint nor an major praise. This particular review is for the current service I received: dip powder manicure. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place for dip powder. I called ahead of time to make sure they rendered the specific service and to see if there was availability. I was told yes to both inquiries, so I headed that way. Though I was told there was availability I did wait for about 30 minutes before being seen; no complaint there because I was in no rush. With my being in no rush set aside, it seemed the nail tech was on a serious time crunch once she got started. The end result showed so. My nails were done on a Saturday and by Sunday the top coat that was used was already chipping off. I went in on a Monday do get the chips fixed and two more days later there was chipping again. The nail tech that day seemed to be a bit bothered I was back to fix the problem. It's a no-go for the dip powered. read more

I've been wearing acrylic nails for almost 50 years and I have never had a better experience than that provided by Lisa and Amy. My previous nail tech had ripped off the top layers of my nails when putting on a new set. I was just driving and noticed the nail sign. I was so impressed at how clean and attractive the shop looked. Lisa took plenty of time removing the terrible set of nails I had on and then did an absolutely top rate job on a new set. I selected a shell look tip and clear base. The shape is perfect. I'm so happy I've found my new home. The pedicure by Amy was the best and most luxurious I've had.
