As with many businesses, as they grow in demand and size, their business practices change. We've run into some issues with leaks or sprinkling systems not turning on shortly after having a major re-landscaping project done and found it took repeated inquiries to get responses. Most recently, we were told we would need to approve a flat fee plus additional hourly charges for work beyond the first hour to have someone stop by to get our sprinkling system to turn on. While I can understand charging for any work that may need to be done. However, for the years of business we've provided, I would expect a courtesy visit to at least determine the solution and whether significant work and associated charges are appropriate.
