They essentially did an over haul of our plumbing (just didn't do the parts that would require a tear up of my house which I appreciate). So far everything works great and they were great about explaining everything that was happening. Stuart also fixed a leaking shower only to find out the people that originally installed it were missing pieces and they set our new toilet. He also did a few other random add ons by us which we're thankful for. Best of all we have a toddler that absolutely adored them and they were great with him. Our son can be annoying and in your face and they never seemed to get upset or annoyed and just rolled with it which I truly appreciated. Truthfully our son was sad when the work was done and they no longer came around. We highly recommend you check them out!

With the pictures, he was able to tell me what the problem was and also give me an estimate. (Other companies charge just for the technicial to take a look). They came back with a proposal of $35,000. After reviewing the itemized estimate, I immediately advised her to get additional quotes. One line item alone was $1,660 to install four hose bibbs (spigots)--something she never requested. There was no discussion about adding new hose bibbs or performing related work throughout the house that would justify this charge. For context, hose bibbs are inexpensive parts (around $5-$10 each at The Home Depot or similar retailers) and typically require minimal labor. We obtained two additional quotes from other plumbers: $4,500 and $3,900 for the same repair. Based on this experience, the pricing from Steve's was extremely inflated and concerning--especially given that the customer was an elderly homeowner. If you consider getting a quote from Steve's, I strongly recommend getting multiple estimates before proceeding.

Wow - that was a life saver! The replacement key was heftier than the really cheap, original key that came with the house. Recently my water valve stems were starting to drip intermittently when turning them, and since my house had passed the 20-year mark, it was time to change them out. So I emailed Bryan and within a couple of days, he responded. I had to reschedule very last minute due to some personal reasons, and they were really nice about it. I knew already that this may just be a grab for money since I want the quote and I'll just take the fee. Turns out taking off and putting back on the solar panel is a big cost. What I thought would be about 1k was over 4k. A quarter of the price of my roof project. Unreliable at sticking to scheduled appointments…read more I'm a resident manager at a high rise. I just referred this company to one of my tenants. I used them a few times in the past and they were good. One of my tenants scheduled with them to repair an actively leaking angle valve. It was scheduled 5 days in advance. 535 just canceled the appointment the next day claiming that they don't have the part, and they don't know when they can find it. This excuse as pure bs. It's a common angle valve. I could go up to the hardware store right now and pick one up. If you need a plumber that will stick to their scheduled appointments, 535 isn't it. If you are a building manager, do not recommend to your tenants, they will only make you look bad.
