I thought this place was great! I thought it was going to be your typical run of the mill pizza place but it was much fancier than I thought. The service was great! Everything was delicious and high quality. The cocktails were top tier and the kids pizza is actually enormous I was shocked. One thing I really appreciated was that you can do half and half pizzas so you don't have to decide. We also really appreciated that the kids pizza came out first and was very fast whether this was intentional or not it was appreciated. When you have a hungry toddler, the faster the better. Highly recommend!

Walking into Do Scratch, I felt like I was going into a high end Italian restaurant. It's threw me off a little bit because I was going into a pizza joint but this is no corner pizzeria. The service was top tier with the ambiance of high end Italian restaurant with a solid wine selection. The pasta was really good, I got the seafood linguini which comes with shrimp, squid, octopus & clams over a lobster bisque base. It was really refreshing, with a good portion of octopus tentacles and shrimp. I wish there were more clams but that's a minor complaint. The biggest issue for me was the lobster bisque base itself, it was light and refreshing but, I like my bisque more creamy, the bisque barely coated my spoon. Pasta tasted fresh and cooked al dente. The Neapolitan style pizza was topped with high quality ingredients. The caramelized pineapple gives it an extra depth and punch of sweetness to contrast the cheeses & salami. I wish the pizza itself had a little bit more char to it. Don't get me wrong, the food is really good, I'm judging this place based on the ambiance they are projecting and the price charged. Solid 4/5.

We came in and did not expect the high end Italian style for pizza. But it ended up being one of the best pizzas we've had in awhile. It was nice being away from the hustle and bustle of the tourism and the Jeep Invasion. This definitely felt more like a local spot. I think when we came in there was maybe 3 other tables with people. So it wasn't bad at all. We started with the focaccia bread and it was dreamy. It would've been fantastic with a little Parmesan cheese though. My husband and I decided to split the Pepperoni Pizza. I was initially afraid it wouldn't be enough it it was perfect. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and we can't wait to come back.

Do Pizza is hands-down one of the best spots I've tried in a long time! From the moment you walk in, the cozy, welcoming vibe sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. Let's talk about the pizza--oh my goodness! The crust is perfection: crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of char from the oven. Every topping tastes like it was picked fresh that morning. Whether you go classic or adventurous with your choice, every bite is pure bliss. And then there's the Alfredo pasta with chicken. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, the Alfredo sauce is clearly made from scratch, and the chicken is perfectly tender and juicy. It's a dish that feels both comforting and indulgent in the best way. Our kids enjoyed the pepperoni pizza and spaghetti and meatballs (both finishing their plates which says a lot!). The cocktails are amazing as well. Creative, balanced, and expertly crafted, each one complements the food beautifully. Whether you're a fan of bold flavors or something more subtle, they've got something to satisfy everyone. Lastly the service was great, friendly, attentive, and helpful on making menu suggestions. Do Pizza is a great local spot if you want something classy, fresh and original. I only wish we were local so we could visit more often!

Great Italian, more authentic than places like Olive Garden. Would highly recommend.

We were in the area for some shopping and my wife wanted Italian food. The place we went before is now Mexican food, so we decided to try this new place....this is now our favorite place in East TN. The ambiance is upscale casual (come as you are OR dress to the nines). The wait staff was super...friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the menu....we highly recommend Carie....she is phenomenal! Now, the food....OMG....the food (my wife had the Alfredo linguini with a chicken breast and I had the "Prime" Filet tips with Pappardelle pasta). Both dishes were phenomenal, with generous portions. The pasta is handmade. Next visit, we plan to try the handmade brick oven pizza....stay tuned...

The food is so so good. The pasta is fresh and you can tell authentic. The pizza is perfection. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or family dinner. We loved it.

It is away from from the beaten path of the Smokies and they recommend reservations for dinner. Open at 3pm, I called and he gave us a 6:15 time which worked well on a slower Wednesday. The entrance gives way to a nice bar area with a few TVs, booths and white linen tables. We each settled on a bottle of Sangiovese and Pinot Grigio and the mussels appetizer and bruschetta. Our waiter Andrei was professional and prompt. We decided to have a glass of wine and enjoy conversation and our apps without ordering our entrees and expediting the occasion. Andrei checked back several times and kept our waters full and was very patient. We settled on clams fettuccini with a white wine butter sauce and my lady got the mussels in the same sauce. It was a garlic lover's delight and I'm certain I'll never be a vampire. We enjoyed the setting and the atmosphere was relaxed. A liquid dessert pour of tequila and whiskey settled us and we skipped dessert although it was tempting. Overall the prices were a bit higher but the service was excellent and our meal rang true. It was a great first impression and we had leftovers. It will be added into our rotation and look forward to trying other pastas and seafood.

The Frutti di Mare is phenomenal!!!…read more We happened upon this wonderful location by watching "Adventure is Out There" on YouTube. Totally off the beaten path, and so worth it. Just when you think you're lost, you arrive. The Focaccia bread that is served really good. Suggest getting marina as opposed to olive oil for dipping. The meatball was nice sized (big enough to share) and marinara sauce was really good. The Frutti di Mare was suggested by our waiter Anthony (very knowledgeable about the menu and offerings) to use white wine sauce. It was a great suggestion. The ingredients were obviously fresh and the portion size was easily shareable. We shared a Tiramisu. And let me preface that my wife has never liked this dessert. But the YouTube review swayed her perspective. And she loved it. You can tell that it's a labor to make (we talked to the owner's wife and she concurred). The only negative would be due to personal preference. The Caesar salad dressing didn't have anchovies. It was lemon forward and good, but it's just something that we like.

We entered the shop and after pondering over which loaf to try my friend and I decided to get the Holly Dolly (which includes pecans, butterscotch, grahams, chocolate icing, and coconut) in honor of visiting Dolly Parton's Park. This was so good and dare I say even better than what they serve at Dollywood. *gasp* I know what I said! Fight me! lol The bread was fluffy, sweet, warm and all the toppings really added nice texture. I was contemplating on getting a couple of loaves to bring back to California and was playing around with the website to see if they ship, but we still had a couple of days before flying back so it wouldn't be as fresh as can be. Personally, I think this is something you want to eat when you pick up to optimize the experience, so I guess my family and friends will have to join me here next time to experience the glory! The shop itself is small, but there's a cool big map where you can add where you're visiting from. Service is kind and there are also one or two picnic tables outside if you don't make it to your car to indulge in gluttony. Bon appetit!

I'm from out of state, but every time I'm back in town, this is a non-negotiable stop. A must. A ritual. A comfort! Even though the space itself is small, the heart of this restaurant is enormous. The staff is warm, genuine, and attentive, and the chef/owner radiates passion--you can tell he truly cares about the craft of cooking and about giving guests an unforgettable experience. I ordered the house salad with their Italian dressing--crisp, refreshing, and bright. Then came the star of the night: the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and bell peppers. Let me tell you... I don't think I'll ever get this Alfredo out of my mind. The sauce is silky, rich, and creamy without being heavy--pure comfort wrapped around perfectly cooked pasta. Easily one of the best Alfredo dishes I've ever had. Dessert was the limoncello cake, and it was phenomenal. Delicately lemony, light, and the perfect sweet finish. My friend ordered the traditional marinara with meat (robust, comforting, and full of Italian-home-cooking warmth) and the tiramisu, which was soft, airy, and wonderfully balanced. And I can't forget the bruschetta--remarkable. The tomatoes were fresh and juicy, the bread had the perfect crunch, and that touch of sweet glaze tied it all together like a little bite of heaven. I truly hope this place stays around for years to come. It's the kind of family restaurant you want to cheer on and watch grow. Our server--I believe his name was Joe--was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Food arrived VERY quickly. We had multiple people check on us throughout our dinner, all very polite. We ordered the fried chicken skins, buffalo frog legs, and bone marrow as appetizers. The chicken skins were HUGE and deliciously crunchy. The buffalo frog legs were very tender. The bone marrow paired very nicely with the bread it's served with. All were very tasty. For the main dishes, we got the 48 oz Tomahawk ribeye (topped with bone marrow butter and a side of fries), as well as the wood grilled lamb. We asked that the tomahawk be rare, specifying charred on the outside and still mooing on the inside, and they absolutely nailed it. The outside, especially the fat, was seared beautifully--it was absolutely delicious. The fries were very fresh and flavorful as well. We'd never had lamb before, so we asked our server to have them cook it the way he suggested. It was cooked phenomenally, and the flavors with the blackberry reduction were amazing. The goat cheese grits weren't overpowering, they were the best cheese grits I've had. The cornbread went very well with the steak. For dessert, we got the blackberry and blueberry cobbler, and the goat cheese cheesecake. They were both mouthwateringly delicious. I'm still thinking about that cobbler... I admit I had a little skepticism about the calamari (before ordering) because I've had enough overcooked ones before. But the calamari at Roma Table was cooked to perfection, and the lemon aioli was AMAZING, so zesty, fresh, and creamy, it complemented the crispy seafood. The marinara was good too but totally overshadowed by the aioli. I highly recommend this! For the main course, I ordered a pizza. It was a bit of a letdown. I should have ordered their pastas, which they are well known for. The pizza was bready, and there was a very thick blob of mozzarella, which was a little icky for me. It was a big blob on every slice, which you could literally plop out. The pizza, I guess, is highly skippable.
