    Loaded House Salad @ $9.99

Such a cute restaurant, although I agree with other reviews, that it needs a little updating/cleaning. The food was nothing special - pretty average. Service was slow, and server seemed unhappy - she wasn't "mean" but she just didn't smile - seemed tired. So much potential as it is unique, but I don't think I'd return.

Dive bar meets Mishawaka staple. Steak burgers, outside dining with a divy feel inside. This restaurant has been a love hate relationship. I've been here 3-4 times and my wife loves it, but I've had a couple good meals, and a couple not great. So first...good burger and good value. And the patio is great. Chill, cool, shade and I've always had good service here. The last time here was 4.5 stars. Good burger and service and all around great experience. This time the Ruben was better than ok but not 'good'. Not sure why but just lacking. Tasted like it came from a diner. The waitress was fine and took care of us. But order wasn't right. Missing salad. Pickles were supposed to be on the side. A few little picky items. So we'll keep coming and hoping for the 4+ star service.

View from my table to the front window. The ambience here is FANTASTIC!

This is a nifty little restaurant in downtown Mishawaka. The food is pretty good and the ambiance is AWESOME! I would recommend it for a date, family dinner, or get-together with friends; any could fit in with this place. Make note of the days of the week the specials and special prices are on and plan your visit accordingly, or you could end up paying quite a bit for your meal or the dish you want may not be available at all.

Visited here on a Tuesday night. They have a nice variety on the menu. The restaurant has a nice relaxed feel to it. My mom originally ordered the chicken salad but did not like it. It was covered in cheese and bacon. We both ended up with the cheeseburger special. For 4.99 you get a cheeseburger with fries. I added the salad for $3. The croutons here are amazing. I wish I could buy some to go. The burger was nice and juicy. The toppings were fresh. The fries were just ok. Will definitely return.

We've had to wait on one occasion, the hostess wasn't really trying to get us seated but the manager definitely had a sense of urgency to find us a table. The fried mushrooms are amazing, with their zesty ranch sauce. The pickles and peppers are okay too. I love their Caesar salad, so well dressed and fresh every single time! I usually get a baked potato and side of mushrooms or broccoli, their flash fried green beans are also excellent. If you get broccoli with cheese the cheese isn't shredded it's a cheese sauce like a Mac n cheese roux and cheese sauce. Also if you want regular asparagus be sure to mention it or else they'll bring you breaded asparagus. I also really want to try their frozen coke with rum, yum! It's a nice restaurant, one of the better, higher end, chain restaurants in Mishawaka/South Bend.

I always recognize his glasses. He's great. Bartenders are always spot-on. Besides that--I hardly have much of a demand, I just want to know if my burger comes with a patty or is just brisket, as it wasn't very clearly indicated in the "burger box" Super disappointing at such a price point/location. I expect more than being visited twice in nearly 30 minutes and only getting the response of "I don't know" and "I'm not sure" I left after taking two sips of my beer, and was chased out by some manager who FINALLY acknowledged us, only trying to get paid for the single ounce of beer that I consumed, as well as two sips of (warm)unsweetened tea that my grandmother had. It's not often I leave without paying, but if you're not going to acknowledge me and cant be at least a decent host, I'll just be on my way before i get too far in. When you charge $20 for a burger, I would think the service is matching that level of quality. Yes I would like a follow up, too. Because if you got my grandma following me in agreement, there's an issue. Really disappointing, probably won't make the stops like I used to. Place appears to need some quality help.
