When in town on vacation some local friends took us here for a late dinner. The place was hopping and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table but given the demographics of the crowd it soon empty out. We were seated in an indoor area with a big group and the acoustics made it hard to hear - no we aren't that old... Since it was dark I didn't get to scope out what their outdoor seating looked like or the scenery. The food was great. I tried something unusual , a grouper rueben, and it was excellent! Who knew you could sub grouper for corned beef... My wife had the grouper tacos (again) and loved them - she said they were different than other preparations. I don't recall what our friends had so no report on that. Overall I would come back. read more

YUM! How have I never been here before? We sat on the covered patio and my 5 year old loved looking out at all the boats. All 3 of the adults went with the tacos and I did not regret my decision for a second. They were messy and tasty and filling. The kids meal was a bit on the small side. My son devoured it and was still a bit hungry. But, it was obviously good, because he downed it (and he is picky). The chicken fingers looked crispy & the 1 fry I tasted was yummy. I will definitely suggest we go here again the next time we are back visiting. The server wasn't overly friendly, but she was nice and attentive. read more

We went here last night and loved everything about it! Great food choices, great quantity, great outdoor atmosphere, and great staff. The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because we spent our summer sunset on the beach (830pm) and they close at 9. We didn't feel rushed or anything, so it has nothing to do with that. Today was not so good. We are local and have been here frequently over many years. While short staffed with no time to shoot any breeze, the help was sufficient. I understand. Got it. One server, no smiles. It is the food today that I should review. BLAH on my wife's go too, prime rib sandwich. She says. Corn salad is now canned apparently. Used to be better. I agree. My grouper sandwich was not fresh tasting. A few bites were okay and I could continue without saying anything but over half of it as I worked into it tasted old and well into a dark meat flavor that was very unpleasant. I ate too much to say anything so I pushed it aside and finished my drink to go. She took it away and you should know, I NEVER go home without a to go box! We went here when they opened for lunch. We were the first people in at 11am. We found out that it's okay to take our small, Havanese dog which was great. One thing though, is that the dog has to be, either in a "pen" or on the floor. They are not allowed on the chairs. Because we had our dog, we got seated closer to the entrance instead of overlooking the harbor. That was fine with us. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. I had the swordfish. It was medium okay. A little too moist for my tastes. My wife had fish and chips which were terrific. We liked our experience and will return. read more

So stinkin' GOOD!!!! Seriously! My wife ordered the Tuna nachos ($14)off of the appetizer menu and it was more than enough for her. If you like raw tuna or sushi I HIGHLY recommend. It has a little bit of a kick though, not sure if it's horseradish or wasabi but not overwhelming at all. I ordered the Grouper sandwich ($16) and it certainly didn't disappoint. It came with a couple of sauces (tartar sauce and a chipotle ??? Something) they were both fantastic. My kids loved the house ranch and put it on everything. We stopped in for lunch and it wasn't busy at all but it's the off season for this area. I'm sure it's hopping during peak season. It's a very casual atmosphere and you can sit inside or outside and overlook the dock area at all of the boats in the water. Our waitress was super hospitable and did a great job serving us. Overall, it's a highly recommended stop if you're visiting from out of town. It would be a regular stop if we lived here. read more

We had a great first experience at Dockside, and it will not be the last. We took our friend out to celebrate her birthday, and we sat in the patio and enjoyed the setting sun. Our server was excellent, and we all enjoyed our dinners. The food was oysters, grouper sandwich with coleslaw, lobster and scallop dinner with red potatoes and corn salad, lobster and shrimp, rice and beans and corn salad. The theme of our dinner tonight was under seasoned. The saving grace of this spot was the ambiance and location. We arrived during a busy dinner rush and had a drink/calamari at the bar. The Calamari was fresh but had no flavor on its own (a little salt/pepper would have gone a long way). Everyone was friendly and having a good time. Our table was ready within about 20 minutes and we were seated. We ordered a salmon BLT with homemade chips, fish and chips (fries) and shrimp linguine with Alfredo sauce. Literally none of our food had much flavor on its own- I dipped the chips in ranch and my salmon sandwich in a sweet spicy sauce that made it palatable. It was all very bland and simply OK. I would return to this spot for the ambiance and drinks/appetizers but it was not worth the $65 dinner tab for we paid. read more

The lobster tacos are out of this world delicious! If you haven't tried them you are definitely missing out!

Food is really good. Only complaint is that the lobster roll needs to have "real" lobster meat- the tail and claws. Only dish I've had there that is not up to par and not worth the cost. read more

After an hour they can now sit us in first available. No thank you, be upfront with your wait times!! During my hour wait, waitlist said 15 more minutes and then 15 more minutes, and after an hour it just said we will let you know when it is ready and I was not given an estimated time. read more
