Someone recently recommended Dr. Feelgoodes; however, after just two interactions, it's clear they did not receive their doctorate nor do they make their customers feel good. After an incomplete pool opening and first cleaning, I called the company to find out what is going on. I was told my gate was locked (I don't have a lock on the gate), that the pool equipment is too old (we replaced the filter 2 years ago), they couldn't see the bottom of the pool (that's the point of the first cleaning of the season), the pool chemistry was off (they are a pool company, their job is to get the chemistry right) and they don't know how to clean a gunite pool (What? What pool company does not know how to clean an inground gunite pool?) Stay away from this joke of a company. I would not hire them to fill the water in a kiddie pool. I should have read the earlier reviews about how rude the owner is and how poor their services are. The full story: 1. We scheduled a pool opening with a 1 week follow up to clean the pool. They never called to confirm the day they were coming. When I called them they said they would be there within a day to clean the pool. I reminded them they needed to open it first! Yet when the tech arrived he was surprised the pool was not open yet. 2. They did not open the pool properly. They never set the timer so the filter would be working. They did not install the return covers. They did not check that all the equipment was tight and not leaking!! 3. They never followed up to confirm the day they were cleaning the pool. And yet, I get a call asking if I wanted to have them clean all season. I said, you haven't cleaned the pool once yet. Oh, really, we'll be there in a few days. 4. When I realized they never installed the on/off clips to have the pump filter working, I installed them to get the pool filtration working. After a few days, I lost a significant amount of water from some fittings they did not tighten correctly. 5. When they get there to clean, they checked out the pool, saw the water was low, left a card saying they could not clean it and left. 6. Finally I call them to find out what is going on, after speaking with the ower I was told a series of ridiculous falsehoods. What a joke of a company. read more

Their service is horrible. They came out to close and winterize our pool about 3 weeks ago. They left about halfway through the job. They never called to inform us of a problem. I called to inquire and was told they ran into a problem and would be back out. They charged me for the service and never returned to complete the job. I gave a deposit in 2021 to hold a spot for 2023. I found another reputable company to be able to install in 2022. I asked for my deposit to be refunded and was met with great resistance and lies without factual information. I contacted the BBB and gave them a full report with time lines. John Laputka continued to fight to keep my deposit until 3 months later. He continued to provide conflicting and misguided information even with evidence proving him incorrect. STAY AWAY!! I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased my Swim Spa from Doctor Feelgoodes! They are horrible! Since the beginning of this purchase it has been a nightmare. They never answer the phone, do not return calls and they lie like I have never experienced. We purchased our swim spot during the pandemic, so I was sympathetic and understood the delay in delivery. That is where it all began. I met with John, who at first was very nice. But I have since learned he is a horrible businessman I have owned two companies myself, and would never dream of treating my clients like this. The electric to run the swim spa was included in my initial quote and contract. When the electrician came to the house, the price was double and John wanted me to pay for it. I wrote him a letter and told him no way and I also reached out to my attorney as it was already stated in my contract the price after some negotiating Jon did come to realize that he was wrong and should've sent someone out here to do an initial estimate , that was only the tip of the iceberg. We never were explained how to use the spa. It took me forever to even get a book on the actual spa and I never got any paperwork with any kind of warranty or anything like that I have needed several services done since the purchase. I needed a new panel put on the spa, which controls all of the jets temperature, etc. and the part was ordered incorrectly after they asked me to send them a photo of what it actually looked like they did make good on that but they told me the price was going to be $100 for a trip charge and that I was under warranty that this would be my last season where we would not pay any labor or parts costs . Imagine my surprise when I got my credit card and saw that I was billed $196 after trying to reach Lorene for several days, I finally had to dispute the $96 with my credit card company as I was overcharged. Now they're trying to tell me that the $96 was for labor after I was specifically told that labor and parts there were no charge for next season I would start being charged a percentage. I don't understand how the staff could be so misinformed. I've also been waiting for over two weeks for someone to come and look at the Jets in my spot that are not working properly. There's been an issue since they installed the new panel after reaching out to the owner John he tells me that they refuse to continue to work on my spa, and that I should contact dynasty to get someone who I would be more happy with. to me, this is total crap considering I've had a work order in and I'm under warranty for the rest of the season. Trust me the last thing I wanna do is do business with these people they are rude, inconsistent, misinformed, and have horrible customer service skills. I would definitely tell anyone who's interested in purchasing a spa or a pool go somewhere else, things always look good in the beginning and then they turn badly rather quickly. They have no problem taking your money which this project was almost $17,000 that I paid in cash. They are a total joke. The only word I could use is beware. read more

We bought a pool at Dr. Feelgoode's a couple years ago and the service was horrible. Once they get your money expect the install to take many months, plus they gave us a piece of garbage filter (Columbia) which leaked all of the sand into the pool (what a clean up) the first summer and skimmer cracked the first winter. Terrible. We were told we would have the pool in 6 weeks, it took over 6 months. We had to find our own installer because their installer no called/no showed. They also had a terrible attitude and very poor customer service. I would Not recommend DR. Feel Goods to anyone. read more

We were very happy with the overall process and install of our sheetmetal liner unground pool. Due to covid, there were some expected supply chain delays, but John was very responsive in my text and calls during the process. the pool install was done at my expected budget and John would call me if there were any decisions to make regarding deviations. This is the one place i can go where i know ill always get help. The prices are a bit high but with the support i get it it's worth it.

John (Owner) started out great, however we experienced a problem with our fiberglass pool 4 months after install. There was a heavy rain and the deep end of the pool dropped 3-4 inches. We mutually agreed to wait until the next season to see if the pool moved any more before repair. That was in 2020! I've been chasing John for the last two seasons and finally this simmer he decided to show up. Then he sent his subcontractor Lajitas Concrete. The solution turned out to be a quote of $7,000 to replace 2/3 of the deck (cosmetic fix). Even though I had initially offered to share in the cost John dumped the entire cost on me and took no responsibility for the problem. I researched the issue further and even contacted San Juan Pools. Their technician referred me to the installation drawings and permit. Turns out the deck was not installed per the drawings or permit. I informed John that the deck was not tied to the coping as shown on the drawings. He is still in denial, has not acknowledged the error and blames the issue on the weather conditions. I am currently stuck with a wonky looking pool and Dr Feelgoode's has my money. I do not recommend them because they will not stand by their work!! read more

If we could give zero stars we would. Late delivery (months late)...dropped the Pool in our driveway and said the installer would be there in a couple of days. Installer never came until a month later, took a deposit and then no called no showed for installation. Called Dr Feelgoodes and they did nothing. Office lady Laureen said she was "appalled" that this happened to us. However she's the only one who we ever spoke with and repeatedly lied to us and never called us back. We eventually had to hire additional contractors to grade the area and put in the pool. Original installer never gave us our money back and Dr Feelgoodes has done nothing about it. They won't even calm us back. Please avoid them like the plague. Call American. Call Pelican...call anywhere...just don't call here! read more

AWFUL customer service. John Laputka is beyond unprofessional. Began working with him in April 2020 and it is now March of 2021. During this time there were multiple unreturned phone calls, unreturned emails, multiple incorrect plans sent to our township that had to be redone and redone. Occasionally when an email was sent it was rude in nature, disrespectful, and again unprofessional. Today, we received a letter that they would not be installing our pool, (one year later) after it was approved from our township. I bought a pool pump motor from them on Saturday afternoon. I paid almost $400 for it. That's close to double what I could have ordered it for but I needed to have the pool up and running that day so I was willing to pay. After installing it I noticed I need one more small part so I raced back to the store to get there before closing time, I got there 15 minutes before closing only to find the two ladies that work there on the front porch smoking their cigarettes. They told me they know exactly what I wanted but I would have to come back the next day. I said you don't close for 15 minutes. They again said sorry...come back Sunday. The next day when I went back for the part they were very curt about it and said the owner said they can leave early. A $400 motor and that's the customer service that was provided. Worst purchasing experience, or any experience for that , EVER. Laputka reminds be of a bad used car salesman. Nothing but lies, misquotes & problems. Everything is the homeowners fault and responsibility. From day one til we practically kicked them off our property it was an absolute nightmare.....where to begin. 1. Wrong liner. Agreed to replace which was another nightmare the following year. Limited to replacement options, why?? 2. Wrong filter system installed.  3. Filter pad installed where Laputka wanted it, not us and refused to move it. 4. 8 ft of our driveway was destroyed by equipment.  5. Fence post smashed my equipment.  6. Lunch garbage and BEER cans left in our yard. 7. Liner was cut with a razor when installing. We were told "you will never notice it" 8. No deck supports on one side of pool. Apparently too much work for them.  9. Our deck and retaining wall sank into ground and had to have re built by GOOD contractors. Cost $8,000. 10.Wrong waterfall installed. Completely wrong and had to convince him of it. 11. Floor model slide delivered and jnstalled. 12. Multiple instances of swearing at swearing at wife on phone.  We could go on and on.......Never showed up when told for any work. Never return phone calls. A total liar. If we ever moved and we were offered a new pool for free by Dr feelgoodes it would be a very easy decision to turn down. If you really desire a pool either shop elsewhere or don't get one!! I routinely bring water samples from my spa into the Doctor feelgoodes Bethlehem location to have it tested. The employees are always very gracious and extremely helpful, they make what can seem intimidating like water chemistry make sense in a way that I can understand. Anytime, that I have had my spa serviced they have always been prompt and the technicians that they send out or always very polite, courteous, and thorough. read more

The customer service here is the worst I have ever experienced from a company. I have been trying to order parts for my Dynasty Spa for closer to a month now. The two women in charge, Laureen and Nancy, are almost never available when you call. If you leave a voicemail or message, you can bet they won't get back to you. If they do manage to get back to you, its days. The parts for my hot tub were incorrectly ordered TWICE. I left very specific measurements for the size of the jet covers I needed. Approximately 4 1/2" minimum. When I drove over an hour to Feel Goods, I find out that the covers are 3"!!! How hard is it to double check?!?! I also find out that the other parts I can to pick up were accidentally put on a service truck by one of the technicians and I would have to wait a few days for Laureen to ship them out with the right jets. Finally I receive a package at home from Feel Goods. SURPRISE, the jet covers are not even over 4"...Again, how hard would it be to measure the jets before wasting even more of my time? I still do not have the correct parts. Do yourself a favor, if you have a Dynasty Spa DO NOT call these people for parts. You are better off finding them yourself online or calling Dynasty Spas yourself and finding out exactly what you need. read more

My pool issues have been going on for over 2 years. There has been continued shoddy workmanship since day one, poor customer service, and for the last year he will not finish the work promised. This has been a total nightmare from day one. The owner John Laputka is refusing to replace the liner which was improperly installed as promised since July of last year due to his workload. He has cancelled 4 times this Spring and now has finally said sometime in June. I have pictures and contacts to and from him to prove his incompetence and poor customer service. The pool season is short and now even if he completes the work as promised again in June it will totally affect my pool season. The contract was signed in 2016 and this still continues. Worst customer service and build around. Had them build our inground pool. Spoke to John Laputka. He's your typical salesman, tells you want you want to hear until he gets your money. Promises the world. He told us the vinyl-covered steps were fine for dogs. Then his builder tells us that that is not true. When I told John I wanted to switch steps before install, he gave me a hard time and tried keeping $800. Promised pool to be done the first week of September. It was done in October. We closed it almost immediately. Then when we opened in Spring, the concrete was covered in cracks. John promised he would call the contractor and have him stop by. He never showed up. Months later, after calling John repeatedly, I finally get in touch with the contractor, he tells me I'm out of warranty. Which I wouldn't have if John would have called him when he was supposed to. Now I have pointy objects sticking up through bottom of pool, which John supposedly has sent someone over to fix, but they are still there. I also have a broken salt water generator, and a crooked ladder. Needless to say, DON'T USE DOCTOR FEELGOODE'S. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere, even if it's more expensive. read more
