We LOVED this place! We were in town for the night and being a "Dodge" lover, this place sounded great. We were not disappointed. We got there at 9:15 not realizing they closed at 10:00. My wife and I tried to eat there but couldn't. Only half of the tables were seating due to no wait staff on a Saturday night. 30 minute wait to be seated. I ordered a drink from the bar when I placed my order, 17 minutes later they said they couldn't make an Old Fashioned. They promised our salads right away after that. 7 more minutes and no salads and we had enough. We got up, went to the hostess who was also cleaning tables and asked if we owed anything but we were leaving, and she said no charge and Goodnight with no apology or explanation. My family met here on Friday after my wife had eaten at a different location. I'll just say we were well pleased by the experience. There's no wi-fi that I could find, so you have to enjoy the company of the people you came with. It wasn't busy on a Friday evening, which was a surprise. We got a table immediately. The servers were quick and super attentive. The food came in adequate time, and was very good. You'll see a lot of "Gunsmoke" references in the food names. I had the Festus Steak Tips in gravy, peppers, and onions, southern style corn, and steamed vegetables. Wow. The cost was a little of a shock, but it's 2023, so it's on par with other restaurants. We went to this restaraunt to have a nice steak dinner. When we got there there were several parties waiting and no host at the host stand. A waiter dropped of silver saw everyone and made no move to help us. We eventually were sat. It took a long time for our drink orders to be taken. After they were napkins and straws were uncermoniously tossed on the table as the waitress walked by. Several minutes later we got our water and rolls with butter. No plates (not a biggie) but also no silverwear to spread the butter. She asked if we were ready to order we said yes. She said she needed to get her pad. She was gone for a full ten minutes. We decided to leave. She stopped us at the door to ask us why we were leaving. I simply stated the service was terrible. As we left she ran after us to give us my wife's reading glasses (appreciated) but then proceeded to berrate us for not being understanding (not appreciated). Food is overcooked that is if you even get what you ordered. Service if you get any you're lucky. Saw people coming in to be seated and no one was there to seat them. Only 2 other tables had people at them other than ours and we weren't being waited on either. Once we did our food was overcooked and didn't get what we ordered. I believe the baked potato was left over from the night before. First time their ordered large sirloin they did not have. Brought us ice tea, had to wait almost 15 mins for refill till meal came,finally ordered steak and shrimp ordered steak medium it came well done, and they did not put any spices on the steak or shrimp it was just blah shrimp was dry steak and shrimp had no taste at all. read more
