He started with them four years ago in a two‑week board‑and‑train program as a very young dog, and the time they spent getting to know who he is -- and teaching me how to support him -- was absolutely priceless. Because of their help and guidance, Charlie is his absolute best self today. He still goes to daycare, and it's one of the highlights of his week. He knows the routine before we even leave the house, and he can't wait to hop in the car. And when I travel, boarding him with Peaceful Pets Play and Stay is completely worry‑free. I know he's safe, happy, and treated like family every single time. Five stars without hesitation from this long‑time client -- both the human and the dog!

At home, they provide our fur kids with meals, fun walks, cuddles, and even offer to perform small household chores (e.g., water plants, mail, garbage cans). The dogs loved their previous boarding/daycare property, but they absolutely LOVE the Ranch and being welcomed into their loving home; they don't even look back when I drop them off lol. Dana and James also helped our pup with her reactivity, showed her that the world isn't scary, and helped her humans help her. I value the reliable booking system and regular communication through the Time to Pet website, mobile app, and texts. I get the cutest photo and video updates. Highly recommend you give them a follow on social media and check out the happy pups!

Cassi and Lindsay have been great trainers and I have noticed a difference in our dogs. They use positive reinforcement for their training method. Midtown Mutts also offers dog walking, 1:1 sessions and pet sitting. My neighbor uses them for pet sitting and she loves them. You pay based on how many visits and the length of time you want them to stay. They take pictures everyday they visit to show you how your pet was that day. Pros: they have a membership and you can choose 1 or 5 classes a month. These classes don't roll over if you don't use them - I made the mistake of thinking they do. They have a calendar where it lists the classes, time and topic. The calendar is a bit clunky and confusing so it takes a bit to figure out how to navigate. If they don't have too many people sign up and you need help in a certain area, they accommodate your request. They have answered my numerous questions and been very patient. I can say my puppy REALLY enjoyed class because he was showered with treats also as a lab, he never turns food down! Cons: if there is a large class and the gym in the same business structure is busy, parking can be a bit hard to find.

Drew has been such an amazing cat caregiver for my crew of fuzzballs for the past several years…read morethat I've decided I can never move out of the area. If you're looking for someone with a genuine love of and connection to cats, who is very experienced with cat behavior and health issues, and who is supremely trustworthy and reliable - look no further than Drew. Before I met Drew I spent so much time on Yelp contacting other pet sitters in the area and they all seemed like they were mostly dog-oriented and just tolerated cats and would be only dropping by to make sure my cats were alive. Then I contacted Drew and I knew right away she was special - she actually adores cats and her primary concern is getting to know your cats' individual needs and quirks and providing the best comprehensive care possible while putting your mind at ease with daily checks-ins and photos. (She also owns a photography business and you can hire her for an epic pet photo session!) Drew regularly takes care of my guys, whether I'm busy for one day or away for a longer trip. Under anyone else's care, I'd worry about their individual dietary and behavioral needs - I have a picky older cat with anxiety and urinary issues, a goofy black cat with a sensitive tummy and a history of eating inedible objects and getting the occasional ear infection, and a young, spunky one-eyed cat who once had an injured leg. Not only has Drew gotten to know each of their personalities and connected with them like they're her own pets (they greet her at the door), she has expertly attended to their occasional extra needs and has on multiple occasions taken the time to talk me through my concerns about their issues. In addition to being a cat owner herself, Drew has experience working at clinics and rescues and volunteers her time at a cat sanctuary so I thoroughly trust her input and consider her a valued care companion and part of our pet family. My cats (and I) absolutely adore Drew and there's just no better feeling when you're away than total peace of mind that your fur family is receiving the best possible care. 5 stars, 10/10. Thank you, Drew!

We recently booked with Lucky Buddy Petcare for a vacation and am glad we gave them a chance!…read more We first met the owner Janet and loved her vibe. My main concern was our dogs not being comfortable with the rotation of different pet sitters, so I expressed that concern with Janet and figured out a plan to prepare our dogs. We ended up booking walks for our dogs to meet with the different sitters they may encounter during our vacation. Each walker/sitter we met was equally friendly and our three German shepherds had no issue with either one of them. We received reports after each visit, which we appreciated. What I do appreciate most about Lucky Buddy Petcare is that we're not dependent on one person's schedule while planning. The booking process is super easy through their website. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a pet sitting company!

I am grateful to have found Janet and her team to walk and stay overnight with my smart, loving and rambunctious Aussie, Jake. Jake loved his walks and especially enjoyed his time with Janet and Kathleen when they stayed with him when I went on my first trip in years because I would not board him. I told my friends I thought he was two-timing me because he was so happy and relaxed when I arrived home. I also had a dog walker come every day at Janet's suggestion while I was away and I truly appreciate the time and care these young women gave to Jake during that time and his regular walks. Sadly, Jake is no longer with me. He was only six years old but he had a medical condition that was lurking, unknown and undiagnosed until it suddenly appeared shattering my world. My first call was to my friend, a retired vet, who told me the likely diagnoses. My second call was to Janet who told me where the best ER animal hospital was located and provided additional emotional support. Janet continued to reach out and check to see if I was alright after I had to make a pet owner's most dreaded decision. She is not kidding in her business info when she says she will be there for you.

After over 2 years of taking my highly energetic labradoodle to Grateful Dog Daycare for grooming…read moreand daycare, I can still say they're still just as great to her. Every time we say the word "daycare", her ears perk up, eyes light up, and tail wags uncontrollably. She absolutely loves this place, and as soon as we hand over the leash, she doesn't even look back to say bye. Is this how it feels to drop off your children on their first day at school? :( A few things to note for those who have never taken their pup to a cageless facility: - They require a temperament test to ensure your dog gets along with all others. No one wants to see dogs fighting or injuries. If your dog does end up getting into a scuffle, they will likely ask you to not bring them in for a while and come back for another temperament test. I've never had this happen with my pup but have heard of this occurring to others, which makes sense to me. - Your dog will come home smelly, so deal with it! It's a dog playground where they run around, pee, poo, and step in each other's pee and poop. Don't expect your dog to come home smelling like rainbows and unicorns. I've always opted for a discounted bath just before picking up my dog or they can sometimes spritz your pup with a perfume. - The prices are high, but the staff is so attentive and helpful. When I first became a customer 2 years ago, the staff was so amazing and always recognized my dog whenever she came in. Whenever I walked through the door, they knew exactly who my pup was. Nowadays, they've had a bit more turnover and more staff, so it's understandable that we aren't recognized. Although, I do miss the "Coco's going home from daycare" as soon as I walk through the door. - They take accountability for nearly everything and are very transparent. I've run into issues with picking my dog up a few minutes late due to traffic or emergencies, or they'd mess up on taking away an extra daycare day. They always work with you to try to find a solution to any issue that arises. Grooming has been hit or miss here. I used to always go to Monica, and then Marissa, and the Otilia. Now, their schedules are just so full that it's almost impossible to get something in the books unless it's 1-2 months out. I still can't quite find someone who can properly groom my labradoodle, but her fur grows out so fast that it doesn't always matter that much to me anyway.

Creating an account to post my first, and likely only, review…read more This place is awful. Dirty, smelly, rude staff, and a very condescending owner. Our pitty was going here for about 3-4 months before we were asked not to return because our dog doesn't know how to take a nap. What the hell? Are people sending their dogs to daycare for nap time?? My dog is there to socialize and play. He'll nap when he gets home. They said he was constantly trying to get dogs to play. Oh, and one time he tried to play with someone while they were mopping. My precious pearls! That was the last straw for them. It seems to me that this place only wants one kind of dog: old and easy. If your dog comes home with bite marks and scratches all over their face, no worries the staff will laugh and say it was no big deal! Dog's paw pad torn from the poor state of the floors in the place? Well, sorry, it's rare but it happens. Don't bother signing your dog up for a bath. They do it first thing when they arrive and then throw them in with 30 other dogs in a very unclean space and your white furred dog will still come home yellowed from urine. This place is hell, imo. I don't know if they even like dogs to be honest. The owner is very cold, condescending, and judgmental. This is a dog daycare for Karens, 100%. We are now at Bark Park on Alhambra and the care is night and day. He gets to play with dogs all day and can go isolate himself when he is tired instead of being made to fit into someone else's schedule. The first night he spent at Bark Park, he tore up a blanket. The staff let us know and we were very apologetic. The Bark Park staff were so great! They said, "oh he's fine! We just spent a little extra time making him comfortable and won't give him a blanket on his own again until he's ready." I feel like whatever his name is, Robert?, would have given us a lecture on behavior and reduced the amount of time he could be there. Oh, who am I kidding, they definitely would have kicked him out. I will say, there was one young gentleman at Grateful Dog that absolutely loved our dog and seemed to understand that not all dogs are the same was very attentive and communicative with us. I wish I knew his name. You're great, whoever you are! Hope you are off to bigger and better things away from the dog dungeon.
