(They also have hamburgers on the menu if you're not a hot dog nut like us) They have this slice of heaven called chili cheese tater tots that come in a big pile on a tray doused with homemade chili and covered with cheese sauce. You can also get this combo with French fries. So delicious! We are not beer drinkers but if you are this is your place. So many different kinds of beer, I love looking at the names and the descriptions. Biergarten indeed! The staff have been so warm and welcoming every time we go. They have a screen to order on but every time someone jumps over and wants to take our order personally. They check in on us and are super nice! There are sports on TVs playing and you can watch a game while you enjoy your meal. The bathrooms are spotless and the drink machines are well maintained. First of the customer service was immaculate, the lady that took our order was great, she was very knowledgeable of the menu and she advised us we can switch up any item we like! My husband ordered a cheeseburger and added pastrami, I ordered the Holy Aoli with no bacon add pickled jalapeños and chipotle aoli! We order 2 orders of tots 1 regular 1 Cajun, and a regular fry all of them were great! The Cajun wasn't over powering or salty like we've had at some places. Highly recommend this spot! I have been wanting to try this place for years. There was one downtown (I think it's the same place) when I worked down there years ago and I never got around to trying it before I moved job sites so now that I live near one I wanted to try it out. There is tables inside and outside as well. The young lady at the register was unfriendly and not the best person to have setting a first impression for this establishment but we all have our bad days so I will leave it there. We placed our order, got our number and drink cups and found a high top table to sit at. The food took longer than most fast casual places we've eaten at but between the music, tvs and company I was in, it was no big deal. My son got the cowboy hotdog. It was a bacon wrapped hotdog with cheddar cheese sauce, bbq sauce and crispy onions on top. He loved it! I tried a bite and yes it was delicious and I am not a big fan of bbq sauce. I got chili the kid hotdog which had white American cheese, chili, crispy onions and chipotle aioli that I substituted with garlic aioli. Holy crap! This was one of the best hotdogs I've ever had! So many amazing flavors in each bite. The hotdog buns are toasted and thick so I filled up quick and had to take the rest home, so did my son. My daughter got a corn dog which was made with a root beer batter and I will say, it was delicious! I don't like corn dogs. Never ever tried one that I liked until this one. We also got a side of sweet potato fries and tots. Both were good but nothing special. Over all we are very pleased. For the three of us to eat, no alcohol, it was just under $40. This review is my review directly ordering from Doug Haus and not from the Impossible Shop website that works with Dog Haus like we did last time. We ordered our food from the menu and there were so many impossible meat options for my girlfriend to choose from. The menu was very informative saying the name, price, and what exactly is in it which allowed us to choose what we wanted faster. When we ordered, service was quick and efficient. While we were waiting, we played Uno and the cards were very dirty and the sad part was that they don't have any hand sanitizer stations that we could actively find. However, cleaning our hands I'm the bathroom solved that problem. The Ringer Burger and Cheeseburger where both big and delicious. Be warned, because of their size, they are extremely messy and I wish we had wrappers to hold our food. However if you can handle messy, that's fine. The Ringer Burger which had a patty, bacon, onion rings, and barbecue sauce was so good and ordering an extra pair of onion rings just made the food taste even better. My girlfriend enjoyed her filling burger. It was so good that she didn't finish it because she was full at the time and then later in the night, she finished the rest of it. She only does that to foods that she really likes and my sister told me that she enjoyed her kid's meal. It was a great time hanging out with loved ones and I am glad I gave this place another chance. I give this place 4 stars because almost everything was perfect but just a few issues on cleanliness both from the board games we touched and the food we ate. Other than that, the food was worth it. If I had to give anyone advice, don't make the same mistake we did in the past. We ordered from the Impossible Shop and ended up getting high priced small pieces of food with horrible service. We meant to order a hot dog slider, but ended up with a regular sized one while was just fine. The sliders were to die for! Juicy, just the right amount of toppings and a perfect two bites! I love this town and its people. But the restaurant service is in the toilet and I'm at a loss. The same thing happens at many places: - I order. - I wait a long time for food. - The food comes out cold. Not literally cold, but clearly as though it had been cooked 10 minutes ago. At Dog Haus, we ordered regular burger/fries stuff with zero customization and sat down. Then my wife went next door to order takeout for our daughter. There was one person ahead of her and then she ordered. She walked back to Dog Haus with a pager. 15-20 minutes later the pager rang, she went and got that food, and then came back. We waited more. I went and asked one of the three people working the front of the house about our order. He gave a stock, "Your order is coming soon" and wouldn't even stop to talk. I actually wanted my money back but wasn't going to make too much of a fuss. I had no chance to ask. 5 minutes later our food came out and was cold because of course it was. The fries looked an hour old, saggy and sad. My god, wtf? Expedite your food. What could be more important? There was a girl who was cleaning glasses at the bar the whole time instead of expediting. (The place was dead and likely not in urgent need of clean glasses.). There was another dude who popped out of the back sometimes to deliver food but was otherwise nowhere to be found. In fairness, it's not just Dog Haus. Buck n Rider can't get food out warm. Humble Bistro can't. Joe's Farm gave us a cold chicken n waffles and didn't provide silverware for another 5 minutes. Try eating a buttery syrupy waffle without it. Shaq's new chicken place gave us a sandwich with a bun that was literally cold straight from the fridge or freezer. Firebird's can't even take your order let alone get it out on time. Why can't we have service here? Who is managing these places? read more
