Please just let me describe my awful experience with this place. I have grown up coming here and also i'm in the service industry. The way I was treated at this place was embarrassing on their behalf. I live for this place because i'm a celiac and they have a whole place separate for us. I've never had a bad experience with cross contamination until today. I had told her when I ordered that I had a allergy and she brushed it off. I figured they get celiacs in here all the time so I didn't worry. Our food came out completely wrong and my friends had the gluten free wings and fries. The fries didn't even have a pick that said gluten free, that was my first weird thought . I waited for her to come back over to explain the situation, she passed us and went to all 3 of her different tables. We watched her proceed to chit chat and make small talk with all these tables. I ask another server to go with pink and blonde hair to go grab my server or a manager. I watched her go talk to my server to be ignored for another five minutes. When I mean she walked right past as I was staring at her to go talk to the other servers at the bar, I was livid. I work at another restaurant, i'm younger but I give great service. My biggest thing is allergies, I always ask. It's crazy to me how I can be so obligated to making sure others don't get sick but a restaurant that specializes in allergies can't. I then asked another server to grab me a manager, our server was sitting at the table right next to us talking to a regular it looked like. Won't even comment on this grown women acting younger than me. This manager comes out first off all looking like he just came from off the line and they didn't even have a dinning manager and comes at us saying " well where's the picks that where in the food? " I told him about the one in the wings and not in the fries, also the wings were switched with flavors. He grabbed the wings away without even taking the fries or my friend's wings with the wrong sauce. He walked away. 15 minutes later another server brings my wings out. Everyone is done eating at this point, I ate a couple and wanted a togo box. My server didn't check on me once during this, nether did a manger. We asked the host for a check and some boxes and she had our server finally come over to us. I went home sick and throwing up because of cross contamination with the fries. If you had tattoos all over your arms, with braids working around 4 on Wednesday, shame on you. Honestly you should be embarrassed how you looked and treated another server girl. I've already contacted the upper management to handle this situation because i'm appalled. The negligence needs to be addressed, because shame on the establishment. I won't be coming back to this hub, the one on baseline and sossaman is amazing. I've never had any issues there, the staff even brought me a little gluten free side on the house. When you realize why you didn't get tipped, that's why. The disrespect was higher than what I could of even gave you. Do better as an establishment because my manager would never let that crap slide. read more

First time at this location. Our server was not awful but close. She seemed disinterested in being there. Very little eye contact. Never checked in on us after delivering food. Didn't ask if we needed anything else. When delivering the bill, she thanked us, hmmm , but didn't seem sincere. She stood there impatiently waiting for us to finish paying the bill on the portable charge card machine looking around and tapping her foot like she was in a hurry. The place wasn't that busy. Anyway, the burger we ordered was very good. The salad was decent. The manager seemed only interested in talking to what seemed to be regulars and the bar staff. He didn't appear to be very engaging. Great spot to catch a sporting event. Stopped by during the World Series and enjoyed dinner with a friend while we watch the game. Lots of TVs to see multiple games and events. I had the Sonoran Chicken Hoagie and fries. Tender meat, fresh lettuce, bacon, pepper jack, grilled jalapeños, piled high on a fresh baked hoagie. Top it off with poblano aioli and you gut yourself a nice sandwich. Chased the sandwich with an ice cold local craft IPA and left one happy guy. Loved the vibe, service was excellent, restrooms clean, and ambiance fun and energy high. Great spot to meet up with someone. read more

5/14/2025 First visit Located on the SW corner of McDowell Road and Power. Parking 5/5 Lots of parking in shared strip mall lot in addition to some near the door. During the lunch hour the parking lot was open. Atmosphere 5/5 My rating is based on other sports bars I rated. The theme here is "sports bar" with plenty of screens playing games. The Dining Room is large, modern and well maintained. The sign at the entrance informs you to seat yourself and so we did. Service 5/5 We had great service throughout our visit. We took our seat and were immediately greeted by the friendly manager. Our waitress was with another customer and he took our orders. Our server Veronica returned in 5-10 minutes with our food and returned numerous times to check on us for tea refills and extra condiments. We appreciate the staff teamwork and will ask for Veronica next visit! Food 5/5 My wife always goes for Brussel sprouts if offered and also decided on the pretzel plate. Pro-tip The pretzel plate is super huge and ment for sharing with 4-6 guests. You can order a smaller personal size but we brought leftovers home. I decided to try a craft burger selected their Devil Burger to spice things up ; ) and a side of Onion Rings. The verdict is their Brussel sprouts are toe curling fantastic and a must try. Truth is my wife defended her plate from fork advancements from my side of the table so I only got one bite and agree they excellent! Pretzels are great and accompanied with a cheese dip. We requested extra for our leftovers. My craft burger was huge, cooked perfectly, flavorful with a dash of spiciness. I chose the Jalapeño cheese bun that complimented the fresh ingredients. The cheesy mashed potato balls are by far my favorite appetizer of all time! I've been to almost every location and the food is always consistent and delicious. Can't say enough good stuff about the happy hour pricing and draft beer selection. There is always enough TVs to enjoy sports and service is usually pretty good. When trying flag her down to get it fixed, she wouldn't even look in our direction and we ended up having to get a manager to help. Thankfully he remade the order but treated us as if we were poor and trying to come up. The food was black and overcooked however the fries were amazing. To top it all off, everyone at our table got sick after going home. Thus maybe a good bar but I would definitely skip eating here. read more

Out of town visitors and we went with my son's baseball team and families, about 40 of us. This was pretty much the only place in Gilbert/Mesa area that I could find that would take a reservation for a group as large as ours, without requiring a food & bev minimum, a set menu and while allowing separate checks. They took great care of us, kept track of the checks by family, and just provided great, attentive service to our crew all night. And the food was great. Everyone seemed happy with the quality and taste. Good atmosphere, tons of tvs. Would for sure recommend. read more

I ordered chicken and mushroom with rice and veggies. I was told it was two chicken breast brussels sprouts and carrots with cream of mushroom rice. When I got home with our order the chicken was completely dry and thin. The rice barely had any flavor and the vegetables were raw with no flavor at all. It was absolutely disgusting. I won't be going back. The chicken was like a piece of chicken you buy at Walmart in those frozen bags. It was not fresh chicken at all. This has become our neighborhood bar for casual dinners, game days, and happy hrs. Great wings, burgers, and fries. Good atmosphere for watching all sports with a TON of TV's and the wait staff and bartenders are all good and helpful when trying new things. Great servers and solid food. The menu is decently diverse. This is a great place to hang with friends and pups.

We ordered a mushroom Swiss burger to go for my son and wanted the meat cooked medium. When we got home my son said the meat was burnt. Can't they tell the difference between burnt and medium and have the nerve to give a burnt burger to a paying customer. We will never come back to The Hub on Power and McDowell. read more

This place is like listening to GnR when they were making legendary music and partying but then seeing them live in 2025 when they're sober and sweating. Bill Shakespeare must have wrote the menu description but let cousin Eddie man the grill. The waitress was about as warm and inviting as an Eskimos undercarriage in February and despite being both our drinks and food to the wrong tables separately, they did manage to find the right on for the check. I've heard their wings are good most of the time so if you follow Bruce Arians motto then feel free to risk it for the biscuit but I'd wait until McDonalds down the road brings back the McRib and get some reward points in their app. The young kid at the door was nice so gave them an extra star for him. read more

Our first visit here in May 2024 was great. Food was delicious, staff and bartender friendly, the bar looked empty for a Thursday night. The last visit in January 2025, again the bar looked empty. I've yet to see this place packed, but they definitely have the room for it. The staff seemed bothered took forever to get a drink, and the food was less than mediocre. our party of 5 arrived 2 1/2 hours before closing time yet we felt like they were constantly trying to push us out the door so they could close early, turning off the music (or maybe it was the TV's) was weird when there were still two other tables in the bar. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to simply hang out with friends or family. Hang out at the bar with Oscar or Pamela. Just kick back, watch football and let your kids eat free on Mondays! They have a claw machine for entertainment and a gluten free menu. I have been to the Hub twice! I work next door and always here how amazing everything is! So I finally got to try it a couple times and I was definitely Not disappointed! The steak and potatoes are wonderful! The steak was so tender and just melted in your mouth! And the Cauliflower nachos are seriously like a party in your mouth! The flavor of everything they put on it mixed together it's something everyone needs to try! From the moment you walk in getting greeted by the hostess to the time you are leaving, the employees treated us like we have been going there for years. I like this location better. They took over the space that used to be the GOAT, but opened it up and added some nice bench seating. Super nice staff with lots of experience. Many vegetarian options on the menu! We had a drs appointment nearby and were early so stopped in for a lunch with low expectations. We are both gluten free and when I saw some reviews that mentioned a gluten free menu we decided to give it a shot. We were very pleasantly surprised, there were many options that fit our diet. I had the Baja bowl and it was great. No frills. Very tasty and well cooked. Husband had the steak tacos ( full order not lunch menu) and said there were just okay. (I cook 99% of our meals at home from scratch and he much prefers that) The atmosphere is super fun with lots of TVs which I'm sure is great during football season. I noticed they have a trivia night on Tuesday and the staff very very friendly, I bet it's a great time during a game or trivia night. read more

I've been putting off trying the "new" Hub, but we finally ventured in. We had our dog with us and were seated on the patio. There seemed to be a lot of confusion as to who was covering that part of the restaurant. We ordered our drinks and they were promptly delivered. We were not ready to order, so we asked for a few minutes to decide. After about 15 minutes with no service, I was starting to wonder what was going on. At about the 20 minute mark I got fed up and went in to ask why we weren't being waited on. That was quickly remedied (thank goodness, as my beer was empty!) And Milan was our server. She did an incredible job! Oh... They have outdoor heaters, which were sorely needed when we visited. The patio isn't covered and I can imagine the sun would be very intense out there at certain times of day and I saw no umbrellas. I forgot to check for a misting system. We had never tried the Korean bowl and, wow, was it good. It is not normally something we would order, but I would definitely have it again. The smoked wings were perfect and not overly charred. My only gripe is with the one measly celery stick. Other places give you quite a few, but the Hub consistently only gives you one. I have no idea why. Maybe people don't eat them and they end up throwing them away? Myself, I love celery flavored dental floss dipped in Bleu cheese. Why not ask folks if they want them or not if waste is an issue. I did notice that the inside was very loud and it was only about 1/4 full. I can only imagine what that would be like full of people with the TV's blasting. The interior was blah. Very prison cafeteria like with very bright lighting. I won't be eating inside as it was just loud and uncomfortable looking and will make sure to time my visits so the sun doesn't kill me or my dog on the patio. read more

Tried this spot out and it was good! I've been to the Stapley location and love it so I decided to try this location since I was in the area. The service was great and checked on us frequently. They have tons of TV for all the games which was awesome! They have a patio area where it can fit a good chunk of people. We had the fish and chips and they were good! I feel the food was good but not ~as~ good as their other location. I enjoy coming to watch different games and all the beer on tap! I'll come back! read more

Stopped in here for dinner with some friends. Was surprised at how unique the food choices were for bar food. A great place to stop in and watch a game on all of the tvs. Good service and food came out quickly. I ordered the Baja bowl. It had a lot of flavor and the blackened chicken was cooked perfectly.
