    Haus Burrito

Decided to try out this spot for their breakfast options and I was not impressed with the offering. I'm a fan of bacon when it comes to breakfast tacos and burritos and the offering here was mediocre. The size of the burrito is worth the money but the taste lacks. Overall a nice place to hang for maybe a hot dog and some beer, and receive decent service, but I'd stay away from the breakfast fun.

Let me start this off by saying how much I was surprised that this place is literally like 10 min away from me. I used to frequent another one but it's too far away and so I stopped visiting. I digress, what can I say about this place that I haven't said before? Anyway, let me get to the good stuff. What can I say that hasn't been said before about this place? I always recommend this place if you want something with variety, that's chill and simple. The food here is awesome. I used to always get the Nashville hot sandwich, but this time I decided to switch things up and went for the Nashville Hot sausage. WTH is that I never had friend sausage, and I must say all guilt aside it was really good and tasty, I love the batter that is used here, I'll be back for more The service is top-notch, too. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel like you're a part of the fam. Oh, and one more thing - they serve pretty decent portion sizes. Overall, I can't recommend Dog Haus Beer Garten enough. Whether you're in the mood for a classic sandwich or something a little more unique like the Nashville Hot sausage, you won't be disappointed. And with its convenient location, you have no excuse not to go check it out. I'm already counting down the minutes until my next visit.

Service was outstanding from the minute you walk in the door. We told her we were new and she made some great suggestions. I ordered the chili cheese dog with onion rings. Hubby ordered all beef corn dog and fries. My onion rings were a little overcooked and not quite hot. That's the only reason they received a 4 instead of 5. Some of the onions were actually burnt inside the batter because they were so overcooked. I would have preferred more onions and I had to add mayo but the bun was perfectly toasted and buttery. The chili was very finally ground. Hubby's corn dog was perfectly fried. Fries were run of the mill frozen fries. Restaurant was clean and music was a perfect level. We'd definitely return if in the area.

Ventured into the Dog Haus for an after-work happy hour with no preconceptions of the kind of place it was, what kind of food it offered, or anything. After ordering at the bar, the drinks were just as standard as I would have expected them to be, totally meeting my expectations. But to my surprise, sliders appeared on our table and were absolutely delightful. Their deliciousness left me regretting that I did not explore the full menu earlier. The next day or so, I couldn't help but glance at the menu online, realizing I missed out on a chance to indulge in more delicious looking options. Despite my resolution to experience only firsts in 2024, the temptation of a repeat visit is strong! Perhaps I'll have to make an exception and sneak in another visit to indulge to see if the pictures on the menu actually represent how good the food tastes!

Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a fun atmosphere, games and TVs on patio. The burgers (I got the plain cheeseburger this time) are DELICIOUS always warm and flavorful. The brats are delicious got the reservoir dog sub brat. Fries are fresh and crispy. Wings were crispy not my favorite but we got Nashville style which is a dry rub instead of saucy. Blind melon is good but super sweet. This place has never disappointed.

Went here on a whim while looking for a quick lunch spot! So goood!!!!! We ordered the Chili the Kid and the Das Brat!!! The Das Brat was just ok but the Chilli the Kid won us over hands down! The chilli fries and onion rings were great too. It's such a good place with a chill vibe. It wasnt packed at all and I think would be a cool date spot too!

Nice casual spot with a decent beer list and good hot dogs and burgers. Not a huge menu but everything we have tried has been pretty good. Outdoor seating (if this heat ever ends). A few minor "new venture" glitches in the service but generally excellent and friendly. Draws a pretty good crowd around lunchtime, less so in the evenings. As noted by others, it can be a bit noisy inside and the music tracks are mostly country, in case that's not your thing.

Stopped by for the first time with the family to have some lunch. It was not busy at all, we were able to sit outside. I was pleased with the options for the kids, our kids had cheeseburger sliders and the hot dogs. I ordered the 'chili the kid'. I don't like America cheese so my fault for not trying to substitute it for something else. Over all, I loved the bun and the combination. I would go again, very yummy.

I really like Dog Haus!! It's expensive, but still really good food. I would love to stop by for a big game, maybe I'll stop by for the super bowl. Walking in, you are greeted with a wide open space, lots of tables, and many big screens on the walls. The chairs and tables are barstool style. The food is good. I got a chilli dog that came with some really soft Hawaiian style buns. The chilli was coated on the dog kind of lightly. I am used to soaking chilli dogs from the state fair anyway. Portion sizes are small for the price. If you like sports and food, then this is your neighborhood joint.

The beer selection is great, I like the outdoor bar seating. Service was very friendly and fast. This is purely my taste and I come from the north east so to each is own, but I feel like the bun is very gimmicky and not made for hotdogs, the bun taste great but it's not functional for hotdogs or sausage, especially for heavy toppings. The chili is too sweet for my taste. The dog itself was cooked well.

Great little find just outside of Spring. Limited food menu but check out the beer!! Holy smokes!! Lol. Great customer service and nice little outdoor area as well. Food was delish and not a single complaint here.

It's noted on the menu that is must be served medium rare, no exceptions - that's my preferred temperature anyway, so it was perfect for me. It was indeed juicy and tender. The cajun fries were a nice pairing. We enjoyed our experience overall. Was it a top notch, amazing burger? I wouldn't go that far, but it did its job and I'm happy we came and tried it out.

At least not enjoy spending it. But with prices these days getting way out of hand what can you do. I got the rattlesnake because I saw it touted as their award winning burger. Not sure from where the award came. But this and their trash can tacos had the emblem next to it. You also get a veggie pack with your to-go burger which has chopped lettuce, pickles, raw onions and 2 slices of tomatoes. That's nice so you don't have to put on the required latex gloves to use their veggie bar to get these yourselves. It's in a separate bag. I thought this was the buger at first and was secretly getting a bit concerned when I saw the cook toss it onto the counter like a bean bag. The cashier was super nice. He offered me water as I waited. They had another guy working in the back cooking the food. You also get a thimble of ketchup in your Togo bag along with a packet of mustard and mayo. The bun was a little burnt. And I couldn't taste any of the mixed in jalapeños. Also I kinda wish they had whole lettuce rather than chopped just because it kept falling out of the burger. But other than these issues the burger was pretty tasty. Definitely not a McDonald's burger like one person posted. But also not the best burger ever as many other posters swear by. Definitely glad I went. But don't know if I'd be willing to spend another $20 on one of their Burgers either. They're closed on Sundays according to Google maps which is old school nice to see.

A quick Google search brought this place up first with 4.9 stars, which is practically unheard of these days, so we decided to try it. Wow. What a meal. We started with the onion ring basket and a half order of beer bread. The onion rings were fantastic--huge, thick-cut rings with a wonderfully seasoned batter that actually had flavor instead of tasting flat or bland. Served piping hot, which matters to me because I like my food HOT. The ranch dressing was a great addition, too. The beer bread was decent. You could definitely taste the beer, but it wasn't the best loaf I've ever had. Mom, Mark, and I all ordered the grilled ribeye steak sandwich. I'm the only one who got it as designed on the menu. I originally expected more of a slab-of-steak sandwich, but it was actually closer to a Philly cheesesteak style sandwich, which honestly I prefer. Mom and Mark skipped the peppers, onions, garlic aioli, and pepper jack cheese in favor of lettuce, tomato, and mayo instead. Our waiter, Evan, was wonderful! He was friendly, attentive, accommodating, and clearly proud of the restaurant. He even offered to tell us the history of the building and restaurant, which added so much to the experience. The story is also printed on the back of the menu, and it's definitely worth reading. Evan mentioned he's only been there a few months, but he is absolutely an asset to the restaurant as a server. My brother Mark is blind and autistic, and it's honestly not often a server addresses him directly. They usually look to mom or me and ask, "What does he want?," but Evan asked Mark directly. Kudos to him. We had to finish the meal with the historical whiskey chocolate cake, and I'm glad we did. It's served warm with whipped cream on the side, caramel sauce drizzled across the plate, and pecans on top. Absolutely delicious and huge! There were four of us who shared it, and it was more than enough for each of us. Also worth mentioning: the sweet potato fries are an extra $4 but absolutely worth it. These are NOT frozen Ore-Ida fries dumped from a bag. They're clearly fresh cut and homemade, and they were delicious. For nearly two o'clock in the afternoon, the place was packed--at least three-quarters full--and the entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly. I live in Katy, so Old Town Spring is definitely not nearby for me, but I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing through. It's easy to see why people love it. A definite five-star experience for us!
