I love it! Totally recommended! They treat my baby dog like a prince, he is usually shy with people he does not know or when I took him to other places to bathe him and he cried to me all the time, but at Dog House Spa loves him! He leaves happy and they take great care of him so well. They send me videos and pictures of how he is doing, and they remind me when his vaccinations are due, so I don't worry, they are the best! I always recommend them to everyone! Nothing but the best for my four legged baby

We've been taking our dog to Dog House Spa for grooming and boarding for over 10 years. They're great and reliable.

Unfortunately, because my dog has trauma from having had his dewclaws removed (I didn't do it to him - he's a rescue) he would not allow the groomer to clip his toenails. They asked us to come in and help but our dog was just so stressed out at that point that we couldn't touch his paws without him going into a panic. This is unfortunate because the main reason I was paying a groomer was to get help with clipping his claws. I just can't do it myself. I guess next time we can try giving him some anti-anxiety medication and see if that works. The groomer did take a little off the price because of not being able to cut his nails. I would recommend this groomer to anyone who has a well-behaved dog who is amenable to being groomed. I would not recommend them if you have an anxious or fearful dog. The haircut itself was really perfect and beautiful. I will probably try another groomer just because I need my dog's claws cut short, but if my dog was better behaved I would go back to this place because they give good haircuts.

Dog owners beware if you want to support a business that will help ALL dogs, pretty funny if you…read moreconsider the name of this institution (the girls who get it, get it, the girls who don't, don't). According to their online description, they may charge extra for "aggressive breeds," and would provide an "assessment" to determine if they can help board them. Well I can tell you that an assessment is a straight up dog breed discrimination. Just mentioning that you would need to house your sweet, friendly pitties and they immediately drop you like a hot potato. No "assessment" provided whatsoever. Just mentioned that the dogs are pit bulls and was given an immediate no. Didn't even see or meet the dogs. Highly unprofessional and irresponsible. Why put up a note that they would seemingly provide service for all kinds of dogs when they clearly don't? Also a quick cursory scroll of the 5star reviews show that they skew towards smaller, "cute" dogs. Further evidence that they are falsely advertising their services. If you can only handle small dogs, please just make that clear so that nobody can waste their time here again. In conclusion: Parents of pitties beware of this place!! And other pet parents-- please make an effort to support pet daycares that will provide service to all dogs, especially if they have done nothing wrong, and have always been good dogs. Will be telling all my dog parents to stay away from this place. See also attached the goodest beans that are looking for quality daycare services that this place clearly does not provide.

WARNING: Do NOT send your dog to Glencadia Dog Camp. We paid…read more$900 for boarding plus an extra bath. Our dog came home with a cut on his nose, filthy, and completely lethargic -- he wouldn't eat or move the next day. We rushed him to an emergency vet and discovered he had a serious skin infection and a fever. He is now on two weeks of antibiotics and has to wear a cone of shame. Total cost to us: $1,500 in emergency vet bills on top of the $900 we already paid them. When we contacted Glencadia, they refused to reimburse us or even have a real conversation about what happened. Their response was essentially: "you signed a disclaimer, sue us." They never emailed or called us to let us know our dog was injured or unwell during his stay. The photos they posted of him during the trip appeared deliberately framed to hide any signs of his condition. This is what you're signing up for. Protect your pet and go elsewhere.

She chose Glencadia because of how it presents itself--as a premier dog camp with attentive care, strong communication, and a safe, well-managed environment. Unfortunately, that was not her experience. While her dog was in their care, she received an email saying the dog had a cut "about the size of a nickel," that it might not be serious, and that they weren't sure how it happened. She was then asked what she wanted to do, rather than the staff taking immediate action. As a dog owner who was not nearby, this put her in a very stressful and unfair position. When she picked up her dog, the reality was far more serious. The wound was clearly much worse than described and extremely alarming to see in person. It was not minor, and it was difficult to understand how it had been communicated that way. What's most concerning is that: They could not explain how the injury occurred The severity of the wound was minimized The dog was not taken to a veterinarian immediately, despite mention that stitches might be needed I understand that facilities have liability policies, but that doesn't excuse a lack of transparency or failure to take appropriate care when an animal is injured. Watching my friend go through this--feeling shocked, upset, and let down after trusting them with her dog--was really difficult. No pet owner should have to question what happened to their dog or whether proper care was given. If you're considering Glencadia, I would strongly urge you to think twice and ask very detailed questions about how injuries are handled--because this experience was not what anyone would expect from a place with their reputation.
