Amazon supplies my cat litter. The Dollar Store offers cheap toys. This Chestnut Hill store is always clean. The employees are friendly and polite. But if you are a newbie and think you might find something for your feline friend- don't waste your time. Tall brown skin black male with twisted/locced colored hair Ran a few errands and deposited a check unfortunately TD bank on Germantown Ave closed early that day as a result i was unable to pull funds as they were all on hold until the next day. When i went to retrieve my pure bred $3500 German shepherd i explained to Demetrius the bank was closed but i could leave my card on file to charge the $125. I also left the groomer a $20 tip. Demetrius Hogue did not agree to this and instead stated he would have to keep my dog overnight. I thought that was strange as the store doesn't board dogs but i acquiesced bc i thought the manager who lied and said he was the owner was a relatively sane person. I also thought it strange that he was being highly anxious about $125 after me offering to leave my id and cc on file and i live in the neighborhood and my child also goes to school in the neighborhood. Im literally near the store daily either at weavers way or a coffee shop. When i returned the next morning when they opened at 9 am a different worker was there and was not informed about anything. 2. Demetrius Hogue did not leave the staff any information rather they had to call him and he informed the staff worker that he put my dog in a shelter with ACCT Philly. 3. Demetrius Hogue did not contact me to let me know he did this despite the store having my information on file as he called me when my dog was finished with her grooming appointment. 4. I contacted police and reported theft bc Demetrius did not have the right or legal authority to place my chipped dog with ACCTPhilly 5. I contacted 911 for a stolen dog and pressed charges against Demetrius Hogue and placed an ad in the chestnut hill local for him to be terminated from the store as his behavior was not pro dog. 6. Demetrius Hogue traumatized a dog that is chipped cared for attends daycare and loved for $125 that the customer provided even AFTER learning her dog was given to a shelter. 7. I'm local to the neighborhood so there was no reason to keep and essentially abuse my dog he's dangerous and shouldn't be allowed in a pet store or near anyone's furry family member. 8. For the above stated reasons i will not support nor do i recommend the community support this establishment while Demetrius Hogue is still employed as he does not understand what pets mean to family members and he should not be around people's pets as he's abusive. He needs to be terminated asap.

I was very reluctant to take her anywhere cause I've heard a lot of bad stories. However I am happy to report that the Ardmore station experience was a favorable one. Lots of good things came out of it. They use good products and it seem like piper was calm when I came in to see her and that she was not upset. The only knock was that it took longer than expected however I am sure they were thorough and wanted to take their time. So not really a negative.

Brittany, who groomed her, did a fantastic job - cleaned her up without robbing her of her cuteness. When I picked her up, she was happy, no longer had hair covering her eyes, and had been tidied up all over. She also smelled delicious. Everyone at this place was friendly, welcoming, and clearly loves pets. Super glad we found them - we'll 100% be bringing Moxxie back. Oh - and if it matters to you, I believe this is a black-owned business (an extra bonus in my book.)

If you smell the bottom of your dog's paws and they smell like Fritos, that means your dogs paws did not get any clean water on them. So the last two times that I took my dogs there my husband said you DO shampoo the dogs correct and she said yes and again we got them back and they were not shampood. I would absolutely not recommend this groomer to anybody and right now I'm so angry that I'm thinking about calling the Better Business Bureau. I also noticed that her Facebook account is not active. I just end up telling them cut my dogs here and I will be there to pick them up immediately. The third time I come here on with the Hicken Avenue there's a white lady who's cutting hair with purple hair I dropped my dogs off. Go to get my haircut with my son within 45 minutes. I'm getting a phone call saying both of my dogs are ready. I go pick up my dogs. My dog's nails were not clipped in my poodle's hair in the back on his butt was not cut. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for them to clip Nails and cut the back of his butt mind you I was in an Uber so I had to cancel my Uber and re-order another one I still paid over $245 that day For Grooming Today I dropped my dogs off. Give them a call back and let them know the type of haircut I want on both of my dogs. I get all the way home 30 minutes away get a phone call from the daughter/niece again asking what type of haircut do I want for my dogs? I explain to her the type of cut and also told her about my past experiences. She told me the price that it would be for my dogs. I said oh wow I'm paying another 200 and something dollars again the attitude started well. You don't have to pay that price if you don't want to blah blah blah blah blah blah Blah. I agreed to pay the 200 and something dollars we hang up 10 minutes later I'll get a call back now. They don't want to do the haircut like wait what So I'm not allowed to say oh wow I'm being charged 200 and something dollars again like really or I'm not allowed to ask when I'm being charged for make it make sense Like I know, I don't have to pay that price, but I don't want to. I can gladly take my dogs to anywhere else but again I'm here supporting.
