Portion size is an absolute joke and nowhere near what the portion size is as seen in the pictures, and it's over priced compared to other places. Incredibly small portions and over priced. Not worth it. 1st and 3rd photo are actual size. 1st photo you can see how small the meat portion is and other ingredients are. 3rd photo you can see how small the bowl depth is. 2nd photo with white background is the menu photo. Vastly different portion size from what you actually get. Shrinkflation and deceptive marketing is real. Prices per menu item should be significantly reduced to appropriately reflect the small portion size, or the portion size per menu item should be significantly increased so that customers actually get an appropriate portion size for what they're paying. 1 star. this place.... where do i start.. I recently moved to the area and let me tell you, this is probably one of my favorite local spots to eat at. i will be honest and say the parking lot is not big enough for this little shopping center--given how full the restaurants can get at any given moment. There is street parking available, so do a lap before considering giving up haha. I like to order take-out from Doggi's. It's usually no more than a 20 min wait. My go-to is the sopa de res that comes with two cheese arepas. This combo meal is sooooo fire. you have the warmth from the soup and then that savory taste from the arepas. i take my time eating it . You can tell it is made with so much love. I've also had their empanadas which are a good size for the price. And I've eaten at the actual site before; also packed, but the wait was not bad at all. I don't know any other Venezuelan spot in the area (besides the bakery next door) and I don't think I care to find out. This spot is just that different. Highly recommend going for any meal. food is consistently good and the staff is very nice. read more

We have placed the menus down and waiting begins. No water no nothing. The waiters are seen cleaning but they aren't taking care of the customers. Once you are done it's another process to check out. We were here last month with my boyfriend and friend who was visiting and craving some Venezuelan food. We started with some maracuyá juices, which were more sugar than fruit, and got some empanadas to start with. I think I was ok just with the empanada because it was way bigger than I expected. I had the cheese one and yes, it was pretty greasy but it was delicious! I had already ordered a Cheese Cachapa too without realizing the empanada was so big so when the cachapa got to the table I couldn't believe it! It was big!!!!! I tried just a couple of bites and took it to go because it was way too much; however, it was good! My boyfriend got the Arepa Sifrina and even he took some home because it was big too. He loved it and said everything felt so fresh! My friend had the Patacon de Carne and it was also huge! He loved it tho! He said the beef was well seasoned and he loved the patacones there.
