I suppose all good things come to an end? I have been taking my pup to get groomed here for years - since the grand opening back in 2018... Even helped start this Yelp page! In brief, I have a senior pup and ALWAYS write out and verbally vocalise any ailments the groomer should be aware of during grooming process. [There's always SOMETHING with a senior pup so a reminder is helpful]. My pup has - or I should say had - a nail on her tail [funnily enough not uncommon- Google it]. She's had it for over 10 years since I rescued her and it's never bothered her. I dropped her off for grooming as usual and returned about 2 hrs later to pick up a frantic [not her usual grooming anxiety] pup in pain, unsure why. Christina told me my pup bit off her own nail on her tail while in the cage waiting. So you're saying my low energy non aggresive/fixated senior dog [14/15 yrs old], who had this nail on her tail for over 10 years - probably born with it - and never once attempted to bite this nail off let alone inflict tremendous pain on herself made her own tail bleed? LIES AND DECEIT! FIRE AND BRIMSTONE! Nails [despite where they are on your body], like us are connected to nerve endings. I know my pup did not do this to herself and she was unfortunately in pain for days. That spot where her precious gargoyle like growth nail had been ripped out was tender and sore for weeks! Thankfully no infection! [Thank you Google + cornstarch!] I would've still been upset if she had told me the truth, but I would've been able to receive that and be more understanding [as mistakes happen] as opposed to upholding her pride [because she likes to boast of her decades long years grooming] than blatantly LYING TO MY FACE. Instead here I am writing this negative review that could've been avoided with an honest open conversation. In hopes to make others more aware and prevent other fur babies from having to experience this; Cannot in good conscious continue to support nor recommend this business as a result. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews for small businesses but after 9 months I can't bite my tongue anymore. I was very clear, provided pictures of what I wanted, pictures of what i didn't want and said if she was unable to do the cut please air on the side of caution and just give my Pomsky (pomeranian x husky) a trim. She had me send her the pictures and ensured me she would. I picked my dog up and Christina shaved his ENTIRE coat. Pomsky's are double coated dogs meaning if you shave their "guard coat" it will either never grow back, grow back uneven, or take months and prohibit them to regulate their body temperature properly. Any liscensed groomer would know this and NEVER shave it off completely as she did, leaving me to believe she's not a liscensed groomer or familiar with different breeds. I brought him into her when he was 7 months old in November and his coat has not grown back 9 months later. I can't believe I even paid for this considering the MONTHS it has taken to recover... and it STILL isn't growing back! PLEASE don't trust her for a haircut, my poor dog looks so goofy without any neck hair and there's nothing any other groomer can do until the guard coat grows back evenly all over read more

I was puzzled when my fur baby did not want to go in, he is very friendly and likes everyone. And I was wondering why there were only 3 pups waiting for a haircut. She did not do what I wanted her to do. Later that evening my baby couldn't open his eyes I think she must have gotten shampoo in them because his eyes were totally irritated making me think he needed to visit to the vet. It took several rinses with cold water for my baby to be able to Open eyes. Then during his rinses I looked at his stomach which was also red and irritated. Never going back!!!! read more

Sometimes groomers just shave down my dogs but the owner said it's winter so we should let them keep some fur and not cut it too short. Asked for a certain haircut for my puppy. Lady told me "No no no" ... Like it's her dog.... But i'm moving and in a rush so i said whatever, just a trim. I've been here many times and before they always did just a trim.. But today for some reason they cut my dogs hair like a buzz cut. These people don't care about how you want your dog to look. The BEST groomer ever!! I have a yorkie poodle that I routinely bring here and she always leaves so happy and clean. The basic grooming includes wash, trim/styling, and nail trimming -teeth cleaning is extra. We have been taking my baby here for the past 3 years and she's perfect every time. The groomer also REALLY loves the doggies and will let you know if you're not being a good dog mom/dad -she was not shy about letting me know I could hold Luna tighter when she managed to climb onto my shoulder. Fantastic experience. I was excited to see this spot open in the neighborhood. I took my German Shepherd in for a bath and brush. The owner does the work herself and took great care to brush him out before and after the bath - key with dogs that have thick undercoats. Many groomers don't know how to handle the undercoat and I've been disappointed in the past. My boy was so shiny and fully blow dried! And when I came to pick him up he was relaxed and happy - he's usually a nervous guy. The space is brand new, fully outfitted and above all, CLEAN. It's grooming only, not a doggie daycare combo. I think that made it extra low key and sparkling clean (except for the full wastebasket full of hair she brushed out of my dog!). Price was very reasonable. I live a few blocks away so this has been the dog groomers we've used for a little while. We've used them twice before for our 40 pound Goldendoodle. The last 2 cuts were fine although quite pricey at $120 a pop, but as I said, we live close so it's more about convenience. Well I called this morning at about 10am and the woman said I can bring in my dog at noon. Great. Dropped him off, all good. By 3pm we had still not heard from them so I called and she said they hadn't started him yet and still needed another hour. This upset me because that means our dog has been locked up in a cage for 3 hours for no reason. Fine, he'll live. They called at 4 that he was ready and my wife went to get him, which is something I would normally do. When she came home she said how expensive it was and I was like "I know, $120 is insane" and she said they charged her $160!!! I called them and they said that's what they charge for 'large' dogs. I said you kept my dog in a cage for 3 hours and charged $160 is insanity! Never using them again! read more

Very quick service! I called the day of and I was able to bring my cairn terrier to get groomed. They called in a little over an hour to let me know she was done! She smelled great, had a nice summer cut, and her nails were trimmed short (which is hard to do because she has black nails). Been going here since they first open so I am very sad to be writing this review. Throughout my fur baby going here I've noticed a major difference with her coat/skin and nails. Her hair takes months damn near a year to grow back half way and she's started to have a really bad problem with dry skin. I don't know what type of product they use but it's not the best. Their prices always change when you go in even if they know your a regular, they don't listen to request as far as how you want your baby cut or what you do or don't want. Last time I went in I told the older lady to not cut my babies nail because they were already short and taking long to grow back (due to their service) yet she cut them anyway. I mean it's honestly gotten ridiculous the past few years to the point I have no choice but to find a groomer and with the way things are looking your best bet will be to find a really good mobile grooming. Don't trust these random grooming spots with your baby 9/10 you never know what they are being put through! Listen to this review before you find yourself regretting it. I hate leaving bad reviews so it took a looong while for it me to get here but I see ppl are still having issues I thought it'd be best to add my input. read more
