I called in off the strength of the establishment being conveniently located, and was able to schedule an appointment with ease on a Thursday morning. I got quoted $10 less than what I paid, but my baby was in need of some extra love with her hair being so long, so it was all good nevertheless definitely worth mentioning. I stay having this issue when it comes to pet grooming. For reference purposes, Milata is about 15lbs. $75 for haircut + bath-- they cleaned her ears. If you want your fur baby's teeth brushed, it's an additional $10. The service was approximately 2 hours, and some change. I dropped her off 11'ish and she was really for pickup by 1:50. The woman who I presume may also be the owner is nice. I sincerely appreciate when I mention leaving Milata some bangs to provide her with some coverage, that it's actually honored. The bows she leaves with are also a nice touch. Meter-less street parking is available right out front. There's also a lot located just East of the storefront. Maybe unrelated, and possibly irrelevant... BUT, I find it interesting that it costs more for my babygirl to get a wash and cut than it costs for me LOL.

This review is a long time coming. We've been taking our puppies to Katy for over 10 years. I didn't post this review because I kinda wanted to keep Bubbles a secret. Now it's time to share. Katy is simply the best. When we lived in DTLA, we saw an impeccably groomed Miniature Schnauzer in our neighborhood. We asked the owner where she had her dog groomed. Of course, it was Bubbles, who she described as the "best groomer in K-Town!" She was wrong, Katy is the best groomer anywhere! Katy loves dogs and takes great care of them. Our puppies come back clean, refreshed and energetic. We wouldn't take them anywhere else. In fact, we still take them to Bubbles even though we live more than 100 miles away! Bubbles is that good. ADDITIONAL POINT 1. Katy's first language is Korean, but she speaks and understand English perfectly well. When you call, slow down and speak clearly. There is probably a hair dryer in the background and dogs barking makes it hard to hear. ADDITIONAL POINT 2. Appreciate Katy and her hard work. If you can get an appointment, Bubbles is well worth the price. Make sure to tip her for the excellent effort.

I've been taking my dog to Bubbles for the last 7 to 8 years for his grooming. It's easy to make an appointment by calling and they're able to see him either the same day if I call in the morning or the next day. My dog doesn't seem apprehensive when walking up to the store he knows where he's going even though being groomed isn't his favorite thing to do, he's never scared. The owner knows my dog by name and always consults with me on how we want to cut his hair each time. Pricing is also very reasonable. I no longer live in the area, I live in the valley now but I still drive to Koreatown to bring him to Bubbles!

Stopped by for my friend dogs. My friend was busy and they need grooming and I decided went to this place for my friend dog. My friends dogs used go this place and she said this place is the best grooming shop in Koreatown. I went to there around 4:30pm and they are closed at 6pm but they have great job with my friends dogs. They came out very fresh and nice smell and shiny hair. My friend dogs were very cute dogs but this place made them more cute. I wanted take a pic them but it wasn't easy and I had to give up to took a pic them. I definitely recommended to my friends who have a dog. They're professional and I could get feel they really love dogs and care of them so much as we do.

Korean-owned pet grooming business. Very kind lady, but be prepared because english is limited. When you bring your pet, knowing the length of the cut and style you want is helpful for the groomer. On my first time I was asked if my dog had heart problems; hair dryer could stress dogs out. My dog seemed happy when I picked her up. Overall great service for a first time for anxious and yappy dog. Total for service was $60: Included grooming, nails, anal gland expressing.

I've been a customer for about 3 years now and have been taking my two boys here for their grooming. Bubbles Dog grooming does a good job cutting Toka and Basil's hair and the job is about 3-4 hours from the time I dropped them off and picked them up. They both look great every time I picked them up. Definitely recommending this place for all pet owners!

My brother left me to dog sit for the last 3 months and i knew nothing about the necessity of grooming services. I'm so low maintenance that i like to trim my own hair and call it a day - not the same for dogs. Our Louie is a Shih Tzu Maltese mix and the first time i thought i could trim him myself, he came out looking like a piñata (lol see photo). After his hair grew out a bit, i finally yelped a spot, found bubbles and life has not been the same. ONE THING I LOVE: hair grows back so I'm not ever too concerned about a "bad" haircut, i care more about how my pet will be treated when I'm not there and the workers at bubbles really do a great job of caring for your pet. The first time Louie was there - it took awhile - i picked him up a little over 2 hours later (he looked like a million bucks) and the owner was expressing to me that he was such a curious dog; he couldn't stop sniffing everything so they let him, even if that meant his haircut would take longer. They wanted to make sure he was comfortable. I appreciated that gesture so much. We are now regulars :) Price-wise, it's super affordable compared to other places around the area.

The lady (still don't know here name) that checks the dogs in doesn't speak English well but for some reason she u der stands exactly what you are saying. She very kJ d and a bit humorous from what I get out of our conversations. I have two Small dogs that are afraid of everything. Neither come out of her shop shaking or fearful. They've never run home to the water bowl or food so I feel they are well cared for through the whole experience. Those who have had bad experiences with groomers know what I'm talking about. Ok so I definitely pays to read reviews on Yelp! I choose to bring my puppy for his summer cut, after reading different places near me, I now know I made the correct choice, Katie was very friendly and kind, I know he is very scared of people and he can be difficult, but Katie did an amazing job, he looks so cute and clean. Yes it's in the higher end of price range, but I'm a believer of you get what you pay for so when it comes to it I would rather him be safe and taken care of well, thank you Katie !

10/10 recommend! I was able to get an appointment the same day I called and the groomer definitely nailed my baby's haircut she left her exactly the way I wanted. I dropped her off at 1pm and I received a phone call that she was ready at 2:30. She charged me $60 flat for a full bath & haircut. I clean my own dogs ears, teeth, and cut her nails myself so all I asked for was a bath and haircut. You need to make it clear to her that you do not need any other services done.. I took both of my dogs here and it has been the worse experience . The language barrier is an issue I asked the lady several times to not put flee shampoo on my dog and even after asking her to not use flee shampoo she used it . She called and asked me again and I said to not use flee shampoo because my dog takes medication . I informed her several times about not using flee shampoo and during all times she said she would not be using it. Had she said she couldn't accommodate my dog's needs I would had taken them somewhere else . She returned my other dog with her eyes irritated and has a cut in her eye . I asked her what they had done to her and she said she didn't know . My biggest issue is that they don't listen to instructions or notify you if they injure your dog . I understand accidents happen but I should had been notify so I can take my dog to the vet right away .upon taking my dog to the vet I was informed she has a cut in her eye and all of my dogs lashes where cut off during grooming which I didn't ask for . My elderly dog is traumatized after coming back from here . I'm not sure what they did to her but i would stay away from this place . read more

So while I was at work today my boyfriend had a day off and tried to cut my dogs hair himself and made a total horrific mess of it of course (he used kitchen scissors) so in my state of panic after seeing the photos I sent him straight to this place, with no experience of it and no expectations and they saved the day!!!! All I know is that Concha went in there looking like she got caught in preand came out looking smooth and fabulous. Her coat is glistening and smells better than most humans, she is so clean I can't stop touching her and smelling her beautiful little face. They even put little red bows on her ears!!!! (I didn't drop her off or pick her up so I don't know the name of the angel in charge of my little pup... who ever you are...THANK YOU!!!) I will be coming to you guys in the future no doubt! The owner originally quoted me $65 but then when I got there, all the sudden it's became $70. The owner doesn't have the best attitude either, she kept saying since it's my dog's first time getting groomed, she is not gonna do the whole body, just the face, feet, and cleaning the ears. However, it's still the same price if not more? How does this makes sense? The haircut looks super weird too at the end I would never come back to this place ever again. read more

I called on Saturday about 10am and Bubbles took my dog in by 12pm! I am very grateful that they made time for my dog during prime hours. A full service for my 6lb dog: bath, cut, nail trimming, ear cleaning, gland expression was $45 and I paid the extra $5 to have his teeth cleaned. Bubbles estimated he would be ready by 3pm, and I received a call at 2:55pm. I am so impressed how punctual and reliable this place is!! When I picked up my pooch, he was actually really happy!! It seemed like he enjoyed his time at the groomers, which also makes me very happy. Thank you so much Bubbles Groomers! First time booking here - satisfied with the service, although the location can be cleaner. Took both my dogs to this location for a basic grooming service - teeth brushing, bath, deshedding brush and anal glands. Their pricing was decent. They were about the same as petco and a lot cheaper than most private owned groomers in LA. I think I paid around $38 or so. Plus you're supporting a small business, so because of that I would definitely come here again rather than these commercial locations. The only thing that bothered me was the cleanliness of the location. The waiting room floor was full of dog hair. Then when I picked up my dogs the leashes were covered in dog hair as well. Not sure how this translates to the rest of their equipment or holding areas, but this was just something I noticed. read more

I came here because they had availability right away, and the Yelp reviews were good. I got there and the lady was in a grouchy mood. She said it would be $65, and started explaining everything that was included. I couldn't hear very well through her mask and all the noise, so I kindly asked her to please repeat, and then she seemed annoyed and changed the price to $70. Sorry I asked! The haircut ended up looking kinda weird and asymmetrical, with a long tuft of hair under just one ear (see photo). I did appreciate that they were able to take him right away and they finished pretty quickly, but probably won't bring him back unless I really need to. read more

Brought my Maui after trying puppy style next door I have to say they did an amazing job! he was scared since they cut him twice at puppy style. Clearly he's very happy with his haircut and so am I! She was so patient and sweet toward him. He's elderly and has lots of skin tags and she was careful not to cut him and she styled him so that it won't show. I highly recommend coming here! read more

100% recommend! I took in my puppy today for a full bath/cleaning/nail trim and I asked them to trim a little bit around her eyes because her hair was becoming too long around her eyes. I scheduled my appointment on a Friday and they were able to schedule me for Saturday morning. I picked her up within less than two hours and they did such an amazing job! Update: I've been coming here for almost a year now, but last month my dog had a minor cut on his face which I discovered as I arrived home. Whatever the reason may be, I just wished she had told me about the accident when I went to pick him up- rather than having myself come upon it by surprise. I've always had good experiences coming here so it was kind of disappointing to have this happen. I moved to the area a few months ago from Korea and wanted to find a professional groomer for my 2.5 year old shih tzu. The groomers in Korea are very concise and have high standards for their work. I'm not too picky, but wanted to look for a place that cares for the dogs well while giving a nice groom at an affordable price. I tried a few shops around town and so far Bubbles have given the best cut and seem to know what is suitable for my dog. I don't have to explain all the little details on how to he needs to be handled. The place alone isn't very big and I haven't seen where they keep the dogs, but my dog always comes back happy and freshly groomed. I love it! They did a great job on my dog. My dog is mixed so I never done any special cut on my dog. I was dropping my dog off at the shop and I saw this one dog getting hair dyed. I asked her if its not bad for the dogs skin and she said no it's not bad at all cause it's made for the pets. Then she told me about their special grooming styles and asked me if I wanted to try. This groomer charges $75 per haircut on dogs now. They said come in to see the tangled hair of my dog. They were going to charge me $35 extra because my bichon frise had many tangles in her hair. Literally half an extra haircut price as a fee which they refused to tell me until I was there in person. I drove there and wasted my day and time for this. Completely worthless and their cuts that I saw online were worse than others. They don't care about consistent business, they just want to make a quick buck. Do not go here. read more

I've been to many different grooming places in and around town and Bubbles is certainly the best in the business! The lady that's always the is very attentive and my dogs cut is always very even! And his skin doesn't dry out like a lot of other places. It can get very busy so you should call ahead if you can. He was severely matted & needed care. The workers were very clear on what would be best for him. This place did such a good job at taking care of him & his coat is so shiny!! We already knew he would need to be shaved because of his previous condition (sad because he was so cute, but needed to be done), but he came out so much cuter than we thought! I believe they called it the "summer cut"? When I picked him up he was in great spirits so I trust this place! With full grooming, nail trimming, & anal gland expression, the total came out to $85. They talked me through what was going to happen and I felt at ease leaving my dog with them. I'm sure we've all heard the grooming horror stories where groomers will treat the pets poorly when they're not cooperating but I could tell they were so patient with her. When I picked up my dog, she was looking and smelling so fresh and clean! They did an absolutely impeccable job trimming her nails. I did a look over when we got home and they didn't knick her at all! I understand knicks happen when the dog is moving a lot and I kinda just accepted that this happens every now and then, but they went above and beyond. Will definitely be back.
