I've been here before in the past and Jude did a beautiful job on my dog. I had another appointment with Jude but had to switch the day and groomer. Before my dogs full grooming, I met with Angel to discuss clearly what we wanted my dog's cut to look like. Some mild matts were noted on my dog and we discussed to not completely shave to the skin. We both agreed with this plan. My dog is groomed every 2 months with no issues and brushed almost every single day, so when she came back completely shaved, I was shocked. When speaking to the manager he was very unapologetic and rude about this situation. He also tried to blame me for other bad reviews in the past that he deleted... he then proceeded to give me back her cut fur in a bag trying to make me feel bad for some mild matts my dog had... I originally did not want a refund but because he was being so disrespectful, I asked for it and he said no. DO NOT COME HERE. Update: Angel, the groomer, was paid in full with tip, yet she is telling lies on her instagram account to get clients to write good reviews on her and the owner. DO NOT park in the parking lot by the bank across from this business. It is private parking with a sign. Two guys in a black SUV wait for you to leave the parking lot, boot your car wheel, and then charge you $170. They even have frozen bones! I ordered a name tag for my dog Barry, and the staff was so nice, friendly and helpfull! . Place is very clean, they are allowing inside shops with fave mask, social distancing, and constant hand wash! I hate that I'm writing this because it means I've had to find a new dog walker and it's only because I'm moving :( I can't say enough good things about this shop and their dog walking services. Rebeca has been my walker for over a year. She was so patient with my little guy who can get a bit feisty. If he was having a bad day she'd do anything she could to get him on a leash. She would send me the best pictures and just by her daily updates I could tell how much she really cared for them. Kayla, the manager, is so nice and so accommodating. If I had to switch days or times she did everything she could to make it work. She even made mock up schedules to see if they could accommodate me after my move but I'm just too far :( I've also loved every time my dogs have been groomed there! They'll walk the dogs, take them to get groomed and drop them off all while I'm at work! They also have self wash tubs that are convenient and fairly priced. I'm so sad to see them go!! read more

They come right to your house and feed, play with, and give meds to my cats, as well as scoop litter. April and the pet sitters are very trustworthy and dedicated and really care about the animals. They also provide text and picture updates during their visit, which provides peace of mind. What I like best is that I don't have to worry about my cats while I travel because I know they're being taken care of, especially since one of my cats needs daily medication. read more

Had a great experience here as a first time customer. Kayla and her team were responsive and so kind and friendly. During quarantine, we had let our mini golden doodle get a little scraggly and were so pleased when Kayla could fit us in for a Sunday afternoon appointment. I got a call the day before to confirm the appointment and it was a breeze dropping off our pup. Kayla was even great with our other dog who we brought in to browse around the shop! Our dog is usually nervous at the groomers but felt like she was in such good hands. She got a really even, professional cut and her face (which can often get cut a bit wonky with her curly doo) turned out to be so cute. The feedback after the cut was a really nice service, she let us know what parts were more matted and therefore a bit more sensitive since they had to shave closer to my dogs skin. I called to book a grooming appointment today and had a really unfortunate interaction. The first thing he asked, "Has your dog been groomed with us before?" I replied, yes - several times. He said, "oh it looks like you haven't groomed with us in over a year." (sounding immediately turned off). He said, "oh well in that case we don't have appointments for 3-4 weeks". I played along and said, "okay, well can I book one and if something comes up I will reach out?" He said, "we take deposits so you'll have to call back." My dog has been groomed there several times and I've always tipped well and bought things in the shop. I never cancelled an appointment either. I was just very put off by this interaction - he just came off so pretentious and unhelpful. I understand they put priority to frequent customers but wow, what a turn off. read more

My 10 month old goldendoodle just got groomed there and it was absolutely amazing !! I couldn't ask the groomers name but she did an awesome job and the owner Akash is super nice and professional. My puppy gets pretty anxious about things like this so we told them in advance that he might be a little anxious/squirmy. And the owner told us not to worried as they have the experienced groomers and can handle anxious puppies. I was worried when Paige sold DS and wasn't sure what to expect with transfer of ownership but Akash and Beenu are a lovely couple that care about their community. Shay, one of Paige's gem discoveries, stayed on and helped keep the transition seamless - the fact that she has continued to stay on board further legitimizes the changeover. Akash and Beenu are so wonderful and thoughtful, they went above and beyond any customer service experience ever by giving me a bright sympathy bouquet when my sweet Snuggs meow passed. I instantly broke into tears of joy and relief that helped me to positively grieve her passing. Who does that?? Who is so thoughtful as to go out of their way to make something like this unexpectedly happen?? Akash, Beenu, and Shay are really the best. I don't care what big box stores open up nearby, I'd rather have a well-curated selection of goods and small town customer service, even if it means paying a few cents more. I want my money to support a business without shareholders breathing down the necks of buyers and managers armed with scissors to cut labor, corners, and small business competitors' throats. If you have enough money to waste on your no-chip mani/pedis, fancy schmancy highlights and blowouts, getting wasted at the pub, and whatever other non-essential b.s. 'un'consciously purchased, you are fully despicable to complain about how expensive it is to optimally care for your furry companions then run to Target or Pet Stupid to buy the cheapest, tainted Chinese manufactured pet food possible. Love this neighborhood pet shop. We've been buying our dog food here for two years. They have a good loyalty program and always help me carry the big bags out to my car. The owner is knowledgeable about their products and makes good suggestions. They carry healthier brands of dog food and treats then you'd find at a normal pet store which is important to us. They also have dog walking and pet sitting! We used the dog walking services until we moved out of the neighborhood and still use the pet setting. Very professional and reliable service. Our high energy pups (two huskies) get the exercise and love they need and we always get plenty of updates. I could not recommend Doggy Style Pet Shop more -- they have natural brands at reasonable prices, but what really takes the cake is how excellent the customer service is. Today I ran out of dog food and was in a pinch -- I called Doggy Style Pet Shop and asked if they could deliver today. They said they would be able to deliver the Zignature Turkey 27lb bag to my building around 4pm or after 7:30pm. I opted for the later time because I wasn't going to be home until then anyway. I received a call and the bag at 8pm. Super friendly and flawless execution - the guy delivering offered to help carry it to my apartment, which I thought was very nice. I used to order Zignature Turkey 27lb bag from chewy and while I will say the price point is comparable, I love that I could count on Doggy Style to deliver within the same day. Also, the first time I picked up from them, they signed me up for a Zignature loyalty rewards program that provides one whole free bag after the purchase of multiple bags. Since Zignature is the only brand I buy for my dog, this program actually makes buying dog food from Doggy Style cheaper than chewy and faster since it usually takes 2-3 days to ship. With the advent of Amazon and other big online stores, I've started realizing how awesome it is to have a neighborhood brick and mortar dog shop to check out with my dog Bootsy. Better yet, they always have a treat waiting for lil Boots when he comes through the door. I'm so glad to have this convenient and chill pet store in my neighborhood. Akash got back to me promptly when I asked about pricing and grooming services. They called a day before to confirm the appointment. They were very reasonable with their prices. Angel has been grooming my standard poodle for 1.5 years and always treats my doggy like her own. He loves going to the groomer because of her. I had a very similar situation to Emily P. - just adopted a rescue, was in to purchase a few items, and my dog had a small accident on the floor. The employee (owner?) was extraordinarily rude, and ignored my offers to help her clean up/pay for any merchandise affected. I was super embarrassed, apologized several times, explained again that I just rescued this little guy, and the owners response was: "Well, NOW you know." You would think that, as an owner of a pet supply store and a supposed animal lover, this woman would be a bit more understanding. And, this is a store for dogs. Dogs have accidents. This is not the first time a dog has peed in your store, nor will it be the last time. Get used to it, lady! I support local businesses as often as I can, but I would so much rather take a painful trip to Petsmart over shopping here. It's bright, spacious, organized, and clean- All of which we have not been finding in other dog groomer/ shops. This place has really gone downhill. It used to be my favorite pet store in the area. It changed ownership recently which I assume has contributed to the downgrade. To start, they have jacked their prices up. My English Bulldogs eat a raw food diet, and their food here used to be $32. Now it's $39. Considering a bag lasts me 3 days for 2 dogs, that adds up quickly. They also have had the same toy selection for MONTHS. I can't find a toy to buy even if I try since we have all the same ones at home already. Finally, the last time I was in with my husband and dogs, the owner was super creepy to us. He followed us around and didn't say anything to us. We both got the impression he was watching to make sure we didn't steal anything. Way to make your guests feel welcome.
