They had live music and almost every table was taken. We walked up to a young lady who was serving wine in a cart. We told her it was our first time. And she explained that if we wanted by the glass, we can buy from her or go inside and get a tasting or a bottle. We decided to get a tasting first to see what we would like. We were greeted by a woman who gave us some good recommendations. However once she poured the wine on the carafe, we were not given wine glasses to pour them in. As a first timer, we just thought we were supposed to drink from those. It was only until a very nice lady who works there walked by and asked us where our glasses were. We said we were not given any. She went inside and got us two wine glasses with a little bag of oyster crackers each. It was a lovely day! Can't wait to come with my friends and family.

They don't have their food license yet, so just a heads-up--no kitchen service for now. But they do offer prepackaged meats and cheeses you can buy, which is a nice touch if you want something to nibble on while you sip. We opted not to do order snacks. I ordered a wine flight served in cute little glass containers and genuinely enjoyed all of them. I also tried the fall sangria--festive and not overly sweet, with real apple slices and a cinnamon stick. Perfect for the season. I sat outside in the early afternoon and loved the peaceful vibe. Plenty of outdoor seating, and from the quick peek I got inside, the interior looks beautifully done. I'll definitely explore more next time. Overall, it's a charming stop if you're already in the area.

Bear came with us and was the perfect pup just chilling and loving all of the attention! The service was great we went to the counter and ordered our drinks. My kiddo even got to have a blue raspberry slushie which made her night she ended up with blue lips and teeth too! They also have a gift shop full of adorable merchandise: cups with the bear claw logo etched on (I got a wine cup lol! ) , cork bracelets (we got two), dog clothes, goat milk soap, t shirts etc. They have lots of seating options indoor tables as well as lots of tables with little fire pits outside and lots of games. On the weekends, they have live music. When we visited artist Russ Stills was there. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. He even came around the audience meeting and greeting with each table and taking requests. This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink and listen to good music and take in the beauty of the vineyard. 10 out of 10 for sure!

Husband and I were in town for a long weekend and purposely did not bring wine from home so we would be forced to hit a local merchant, and I am glad we did that to ourselves...because if we hadn't, we never would have made our way in to 34th and also never have met Emily! Walking into 34th Degree Wine Merchant is refreshing. The space is lightly decorated and stocked with goods and gifts up front that sit on and around the gorgeous fireplace. You continue through and are quickly greeted with racks and shelves of wine from floor to ceiling. While you are taking it all in, Emily is quick to greet you! Given our novice nature with wine, we told Emily what we were in to, which was Pinot Grigio for me and Red wine for him. She knew exactly what to recommend and it was delicious! While it was not a local wine, which we were originally after, her recommendation and story behind the bottle we got made it too good not to get! No regrets! Overall, 34th Degree Wine Merchant and Emily are great additions to the F&B scene of Blue Ridge. This spot will remain on our "must visit" list each trip to Blue Ridge!

What could be better after a hike on beautiful Yonah Mountain than a visit to nearby Yonah Mountain…read moreVineyards? A lot of things as it turned out. Although the setting is admittedly spectacular, acres of hilly vineyards with views of the mountain behind, and the patio was certainly fancy, the tables each with fire pits in the center providing cheery warmth, the tasting experience itself was sub-par and overpriced. It lacked the authentic feel I've seen in other wineries and seems more of a tourist destination. First thing I noticed is the shockingly high tasting fee of $35 for a flight of 4 2-ounce pours of their choice. No substitutions allowed! Either these are some spectacularly great wines or this is a major rip-off. I passed. But since I was here I decided to have a glass. I got one of their estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. It was around $16 but since I was here. It was good, but certainly not worth the $48 they charge for a bottle. For the $35 do you get individual attention, descriptions from the bartender about the wines and about their winery? No. You get 4 labeled glasses to take back to your table. Not worth it. Find another place less touristy, more authentic. That shouldn't be hard. There are like 65 wineries in the area!

"Wine enters through the mouth, Love, the eyes…read more I raise the glass to my mouth, I look at you, I sigh." William Butler Yeats With the beautiful backdrop of the rolling hills of North Georgia, Yonah Mountains Vineyards delivers real wine and real romance. Whether it's for an afternoon date, or a full out wedding among the rows of vines, it's hard not to feel love in the air. Great outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered, place you right above the beautiful vineyard and allow you to take it all in. Yonah Mountains Vineyards separates itself from the others by providing familiar wines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay etc as opposed to the traditional Muscadine wines of the south. The wine itself is decent, but definitely not near the quality of the west coast wines, but all were enjoyable. I particularly liked their Genesis 12, a red wine blend, and their Viognier, an impressive white. Wine flights are around $60 with a choice between white, red, or mixed. Bottles run around $40-100. A little pricey for the product, but then again, it's the whole experience that you are buying, and it's money well spent. Yonah Mountain Vineyards strikes the perfect balance between classy and casual. You'll be just as comfortable in jeans as in a tux or a horrid bridesmaid dress. Cheers!

Open everyday (perfect for people like me that are visiting in the middle of the week for a random event and wants something to do) or the perfect date night.. Service was perfect: friendly and knowledgeable. Order at the counter and then find your seat. PLENTY of options for seating depending on your mood AND, if they have the space open or not. Food options are limited during the week but during the weekend, they have a full menu. I had a charcuterie board that was hardy and full of options. I also had a red wine flight that was perfect for the cold evening. Then there was the sunset. Oh the sunset.. ugh just perfect with the French jazzy music and pure tranquil atmosphere. I absolutely loved this place. I was told they have live music during the weekend and have most of the areas open as well but since it was Tuesday, it was limited.
