Whiskey chicken with mushrooms and Irish cream with whipped golden potatos

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything here was amazing from the second you step inside with the decor, to the second you walk out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pub cheese and soft pretzel was made to perfection. The cheese came out boiling still and had a great strong flavor with a nice crispy layer of cheese from being broiled. Pretzels were soft and tasteful. My main meal was the whiskey chicken with mashed potato's and it also surpassed my expectations. Two large and thick chicken breasts with a beautiful crunch to the fried outside. Some fried chicken dishes are overcooked or dry because they're too thin but this was spot on. Potato's were great tasting. Mac and cheese was my other side and it was good. I wish I could say great but the flavor was modest. Not bad tasting at all just not the punch I expected after having the pub cheese from the pretzel. But in a positive light, the top was beautifully crusted but very creamy inside. We are from Connecticut here for a weekend away but I would strive to come here if we are ever remotely close in the future! Highly recommend and the decor will mesmerize you for sure.

Whiskey chicken and fried brussels - excellent

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a great place with a lot of character.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the whiskey chicken and apricot pork chops - both delicious and would try again!

This place is right out of a movie! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owners took care and went to great lengths to create a stellar environment. It is so well appointed and looks great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told they repurposed a bar from New York and it makes the bar area so cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The beer list is good (no flights) and the food is fantastic. I've been here multiple times and the food has been consistent each time. This restaurant is a great establishment. When entertaining guests, this is one of the top 5 places I take them to. I highly recommend it. My go-to dish is the Whiskey Chicken - fried chicken with a mushroom gravy PRO TIP: Make a reservation.

I was in town for work and was recommended to try this spot out. I expected just your standard pub but was thoroughly surprised to walk into a very upscale looking tavern. The decor was beautiful stained woods and interesting art pieces on shelves and hung on walls. I ordered their signature burger which was blue cheese, onions, and bacon jam. It was cooked perfectly and perfectly balanced with the sweet and savory. Our server was fantastic and very quick with everything. I was floored with how quickly our food came out! It seemed like it was only 10 mins max! I was told that if you expect to get a seat at this tavern at dinner time or on the weekends you have to plan far in advance with reservations. And judging by the experience I had here it's totally warranted. If you are in myerstown PA, this is a necessary stop!

Beautifully decored pub with an authentic layout. Service at the bar was exceptional. Drinks were well prepared along with a very good variety of draft beers. Burgers were outstanding as were the fries. We even managed a piece of the Oreo cookie cheesecake which was better than any other Oreo cheesecake to date. A hidden gem worth a visit.

Fantastic vibe with decor pertinent to the area. The inside is really beautiful with a dining area and separate bar area. The waitress was very nice and personable. Love this as a great place for drink's & appetizers, fun atmosphere. The scallops I had were great, but I wasn't too crazy about the jam on top (just personal preference). They also made my friend a drink that wasn't on the menu with just a little instruction from him and it looked delicious. Can't wait to go back and try something different.

We're repeat diners. Its about a 25 minute drive to get there passing other restaurants choices - actions speak louder than words at times.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

The salad bar is classic: Caesar salad, iceberg, blue cheese, bacon bits, etc. Meet family here for a fancy night out, and it was a blast. Service was good. Portions are generous, so be prepared for leftovers. We had steak and eggs for breakfast the next day. Big steaks, big baked potatoes, unlimited salad. Come hungry. Good to know: It is a splurge. Also, they won't stay you until the entire party is there. We waited at the bar for everyone to arrive, where one cocktail was more than enough for me. You definitely get your money's worth, and you should not drive afterward. (I did not.)

We tried stopping in once before and they were completely booked for the night. This time we planned ahead, made a reservation, and were seated right away. At the recommendation of our waitress, we all ordered the chicken and waffles special, and every single person loved it. It was absolutely delicious. I also had the Reuben soup and it was very tasty. They also have a wonderful beer selection. I tried the blueberry beer, which was very tasty with a smooth blueberry finish that really stood out. If you're looking for a great brewery with good food, great beer, and a fun atmosphere, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Just not sure about the merinara sauce to go with the fries. Of the beers I tried, my favorite was the Swish (Swedish Fish-inspired sour beer). Service was great- our waitress was very attentive and friendly. For Galantine brunch, the omlett station was my favorite. Least favorite was that the cocktails that we ordered at the bar before the cocktail-making demo was not included with the prepurchased tickets. Second floor of the restaurant has a lot of taxidermy (not my thing, but may be a lot of other people's), and game tables, like pool. Will be back!

We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us. We're glad we brought our friends here, and they were just as impressed as we have been on our previous visits. We'll definitely be back again!

This is the new iteration of Lebanon's original brewery from the 1800s. The building is the same, and history is forefront with a great timeline on the entry wall. Even if you aren't into beer, it's worth a visit just to step back in time. I love all the brick buildings and side buildings; clearly this was a busy place. The new brewery is slowly using the space for different things, and I look forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the future. They have outdoor seating, lots of parking, and overflow parking, which are great for large groups especially during the warm months. I went with my dad and best friend; I had arranged to meet with brewer and co-owner Mike and was immediately greeted warmly by the bar staff. It was a sunny afternoon so we sat at the bar by a window and tried every beer! It was so much fun to go through the styles, some of which are taken from original recipes. They have a full food menu too, but we didn't try anything that day. They also have lots of dining tables in the main room. The brewing equipment is gleaming copper along the one wall, but it's misleading because it all goes down to the giant basement and production area. Mike kindly gave us a personal tour after our beer and showed us all the equipment, historical points with fun stories, plus the bottling room and their fun bottle caps. Beer quality is great, they have many cores and some limiteds on a rolling basis. Prices are reasonable as well. Beer is available chilled at the door to-go as well. If you're a beer fan, or interested in Lebanon Valley history, this is a must visit brewery!
