Little out of the way place. Quite woodsy and appropriate for the location. We went because a gift card was given and we had never been here before. We were greeted as the door by a helpful young man and seated. The dining room was nearly empty , mid week and at noon. A group of golfers at one long table and a couple at another. The bar had a few people but wasn't attached so didn't bother us The spouse went for a cup of chowder with a blackened shrimp salad the blackened shrimp was too salty she said. I went for a Rubin with a cup of French onion , the soup was good but too many croutons,The Rubin was pretty darn tasty but got a bit soggy on the bottom. Nice and lean meat , good cheese , chips were crispy . A couple of iced teas with free refills. We would go again if in the area. $50.21 not counting the tip and not discounting the gift card.

The food was good. We got sandwiches with fries.- Brisket $21 (good but a little dry ) and Reuben $18, which was very good. Good vibe in there. We sat by the bar at one of the high tops.

I had no idea this place was here. A friend recommended it while we were in the area as a lunch spot. It was still Fall and the weather was amazing so we were seated at a table in their amazing ourdoor space. It's so prettty; I felt like I was on vacation. The menu had a lot of really good looking options and we struggled to choose. We started with some wings. They were exceptional--- crunchy, juicy and well sauced. Our friend ended up with a spicy chicken sandwich. I had an open face beef sandwich with gravy and french fries. My husband had a chicken Caesar wrap. Everything was beautiful to look at and delicious. Service was a little slow, but reasonable. The atmosphere made it alright. I hope to get back there soon.

Was at a nearby wedding venue and found this little hidden gem They have what looked like a big inside area, a nice bar, and an awesome outside deck. There is a bar outside as well to sit at. We ordered the crab pretzel to start with, and it was huge and tasted amazing! There were some summer specials and we decided to go with them. I got the Maui Shrimp Tacos with Coconut shrimp, mango salsa, poblano slaw, cheddar for $17, I believe. The pieces of coconut shrimp were huge and were so delicious My mom got the lobster tacos, Canadian lobster, gulf shrimp, Mexican street corn slaw, queso fresco, lime for I believe $19. She said they were very delicious. However, only one small piece of lobster would have liked more lobster per taco. Would for sure go back.

We went there for Sunday afternoon. Cute place with lots of cool decorations. The server is very friendly. Food is ok, in my opinion but all of my friends love their food

Sat outside...always great serve, food and staff! Every thing always looks organized and clean. Please support local...we came on a Thursday afternoon....and service was friendly and fast.

Love summer nights on the deck! We went Saturday night and it was busy but we were seated quickly (and faster than the estimated wait - always a plus)! Our server was great, the menu had something for everyone and cocktails were delicious. They had live music going which was nice, too. Save room for dessert - the half baked chocolate chip cookie was amazing.

My. Gretna Hideaway is a charming bar with ample outdoor and bar seating. I stumbled upon this place as a halfway point for a friend and I to meet for dinner, and I'm more than happy I did. First off, the menu is huge and diverse. A big selection of seafood platters and upscale bar fare, the had a huge selection for most eaters to find something to suit them. Their specials list was surprisingly big too. That's where I chose the crabby skillet from, and if it's still available when you swing by, I highly recommend this dish. A crab cake packed with lump crab, perfectly cooked shrimp and scallops, this dish filled me to a comfortable point leaving enough room to get ice cream down the street. We sat at the bar and the service was quick, attentive, and pleasant. If you're around Mt. Gretna and are looking for a great bite to eat, swing by the Hideaway.

Wonderful spot! Ambiance was beautiful with outdoor areas lite at night. This is truly a hidden gem in Mt Gretna. Our large party had a whole area in the back for the kids to run around and were able to stay to enjoy some drinks and conversation in our spot after dinner. Great service as well.

My two friends and I arrived at 5 PM on a Saturday evening and were seated promptly, with attentive service that kept the pace just right throughout the meal. To start, we shared the Brussels sprouts, which were crisped to perfection and elevated by a flavorful green goddess drizzle, herby, creamy, and a great balance to the charred edges of the sprouts. For mains, both of my friends ordered the steak frites, which arrived beautifully seared and accompanied by a bright, zesty chimichurri that cut through the richness of the meat. While the steaks were slightly fatty in some areas, they were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. I opted for the blackened tri-tip with blue cheese sauce, which was a highlight. The meat had a bold, smoky crust and was complemented perfectly by the sharp, creamy sauce. My dish typically comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables, but I substituted the potatoes for extra veggies. The vegetables were fresh and well-cooked, not an afterthought as they sometimes can be. Altogether, Tony's delivered a reliable and well-prepared meal in a cozy setting, ideal for a relaxed night out with friends.

We are glad we finally did. 1762 was formerly known as The Warwick Hotel, and that's the prominent markings you'll see from the street. My companion was initially skeptical when she saw wine on tap but immediately changed her mind when she saw the offerings--good quality and reasonable price point. The beer selection is also good. Not a huge number of beers but well-selected. Although we didn't have a full meal we did enjoy the sausage and honey appetizer, which was outrageously tasty with sausage from a local butcher in Hershey. Service was efficient and friendly, especially considering the bar (where we sat) was hopping. There were groupings of couches and tables. We ended up actually sitting at the bar. They actually had comfortable barstools. I would probably recommend a reservation. We had made a reservation for 5 PM and then decided to sit at the bar instead of a table because they told us that all the couches were reserved... But we were there for well over an hour and there were plenty of couches still available when we left, so I'm not sure what the deal was there. The cocktails are pretty pricey going as high as about $19. I had seen online that they had a flight of sparkling wines and before I arrived I was considering that until I realized it was $40. But the cocktails are very well mixed. The food menu I'm sure would not appeal to everyone. It's kind of eclectic and they have some small plates and a few entrées, but it's pretty limited. I would recommend the charcuterie board because you can just pick and choose from the charcuterie menu as to how you want your board created. We were all pleased with the charcuterie board. We would most likely return there for cocktails, but I don't think we would do it as a dinner spot, we ended up going elsewhere to eat our dinner. But I definitely do recommend checking this place out!
