    Birria Tacos

Saw this spot pop up on a social page and went out of the way to visit. Service was awesome and suggested the birria tacos which were also awesome! Comes with 4 but I ate 2 forgetting to take a picture. Hip little hot dog spot, but HIGHLY recommend coming to try it out. Started to get busy as I was leaving, can totally see why.

More than just hot dogs-- they have amazing birria! The birria ramen is a clever and delicious option! The dogs are Nathan's all beef. This little hidden gem is totally worth stopping in at! Service is excellent and staff is very friendly.

In a hot dog mood and we were in the area - so why not? Food ordered and we waited. Before I go into this know that my music likes run from classical to rap/hip-hop so genre isn't the issue. They had hip-hop playing over their sound system. Not a problem until I hear something that didn't sound right. I pay attention and hear very explicit lyrics. Wow - how inappropriate! Think bringing your 3 year old echo machine. It'll be the explicit words that get added to their vocabulary. Music with explicit lyrics doesn't belong in a family friendly environment. Is this a 1 time lapse in judgement. I'd like to think so - that's why they got 2 stars. Besides this issue our lunch was still an excellent meal.

Place was pretty good . I had the Birria dog and it was delicious. The service was fast and the food was hot. My only issue was a few tables were very wobbly and almost dangerously so. I will definitely try this place again tho

    Birria Quesa Taco Order

I was excited to eat here, considering my usual birria taco place (EL Tijuas Tacos on Osuna) was closed. I will never make this mistake again. To start the food is way over priced for what you get. My quesabirria tacos were $16.99. Then, once the tacos came out I knew at first glance it was going to be a stomach ache. There was mostly fat for meat and they didn't have that freshly made warmth to them. The salsa that it comes with are in a mini container the size of a quarter. When I asked for more salsa the girl stated that she'd have to charge me $1 extra for each extra salsa. Mind you not even enough salsa for the whole taco order. The consomé that it comes with is in a small container and the broth had a grease cap. When dipping the tacos the flavor of the consomé was hard to even taste. Not that it would've even had any to begin with. Needless to say I should've walked out and not even tried to eat here at first glance. I'm so sick to my stomach that I wanted to ask for a refund.

    Dogos VIP Philly dog :(

Underwhelmed I went to Dogos VIP to get a dog, figuring that a place named Dogos VIP would have really great hot dogs. Sadly, I was grossly underwhelmed especially for the price. I ordered a Philly dog. It was a hot dog in a white (stale) bun with some grilled onions and peppers and some cheap liquidy cheese sauce. That's it! The ingredients were cheap and the dog was $9.50! I was so disappointed and still hungry so I drove just down the road to Popeye's and got a classic chicken sandwich. It was well-prepared, lots of juicy chicken, fresh and only $5.50!! (I'm not trying to write an ad for Popeye's. I'm only trying to demonstrate the lack of value at Dogos.)

So this location was a different business before but I need give everyone a chance. First time here and when you walk in the music is loud, very loud and not in stereo just off the TV. Service is not that great here. Girl puts your order on the counter and you have to be watching to make sure you pick it up. Let's see if the food can out do the service and make me return. Yeah service has to get a lot better! Asada fries are good, so that is a plus. Enjoyed the senora dog and the Philly dog, had to say a little to much tomato but they are good. Sorry to say the food did not out weigh the bad service. I think the price is okay, I understand how prices have changed with COVID. I did notice that the condiments are generic, not an issue, I assume will change as the business becomes more established?

I've been wanting to try this place since coming to Albuquerque and today was the day! Birria dog was flavorful and good. Fries were tasty. Jamaica agua fresca was a standout too, not too sweet but refreshing and good. I'm definitely interested in trying more from this place!

Super yummy birria tacos. The carne asada fries are worth a mention as well. I would highly recommend the birria tacos con queso. Service was quick. No bells and whistles, just straight forward, good food. We will be back.

I hadn't had a real corn dog in over 20 years. They have a dedicated fryer, which is huge. I was able to order a corn dog, onion rings, and cheese on a stick, and it honestly felt unreal. It was the most delicious, greasy, over-the-top meal I've had in a long time, and completely worth it. I even ended up ordering a second helping of onion rings. The corn dogs are long with a perfectly crispy batter, exactly how they should be. Not the sad frozen kind... a real corn dog. The customer service was great. Our waitress handled everything and was very attentive and kind. The atmosphere is definitely unique. It's all clown-themed, which makes it fun and a little unexpected. We live in Utah, and I would make a road trip just to go here, and only here. I'm genuinely so grateful for this place for giving me my first real corn dog while being gluten free.

I have not yet figured out how to make a Chicago Dog without making a mess, but this one was worth it. Our granddaughter didn't understand all her crazy toppings would be mixed up on top. My wife and I must have stared at the menu for 10-12 minutes because we could not decide what to order. We settled on a classic Chicago Dog, and also had the Elote Dog, Tijuana Dog and Chile the Kid.  They were all delicious, but the Elote Dog was exceptional and will be my go-to on future visits. The Chile the Kid dog was my second favorite, and for my wife it was the Tijuana dog. The Chicago Dog was also really good, especially with the sport peppers, but the others were on another level. We got a side of Rosemary Garlic Fries which were good, but didn't make much of a dent in them because we were already full from the hot dogs. We loved the casual vibe and the staff was incredibly friendly and offered some good recommendations. I'm already thinking about our next visit and what I'll try next.

I brought my two young daughters here for a hot dog which they were so excited to have... And the entire time I watched the kid behind the counter that was handling the POS system, and everything else completely not changes gloves after he started to handle food... And then when I asked him about it when he brought the food, he looked me in the eye and just lied about it. He wiped his nose I think three times... And handled other things in the public facing area again without changing his gloves before handling the food. It's very simple step... Take the gloves off throw them away and put on a fresh pair of gloves. If you're too lazy to wash your hands... This comes down to management and training... It's actually not even the kids fault because I'm assuming he was never properly trained unless he's just incredibly lazy I'm really bummed up. I just dropped 50 bucks including tip on three hotdog and two Mexican Coca-Cola's and we just left our food on the counter and walked out. There was no way in hell, I was gonna let my kids eat that crap.!

Parking is definitely an issue when it gets busier, but it is a small location so I understand. Online ordering needs to be improved drastically, the official app is apparently not connected with this location and the website is too confusing. My biggest complaint is how early this shop closes. 8 PM is ridiculously early for any restaurant, and I've just recently discovered they now close at 7. Really unsure of why this is, but it pretty much locks us out of enjoying this spot unless we both have the day off.

I got the $12 combo, which came with corn dog of choice, fries, and drink (potato dog with half sausage half cheese, kimchi fries, and the pistachio boba for a $2 upcharge). Without the combo, prices would've been 5.99 corndog + 0.50 upcharge for the half mozz/half sausage +4.95 kimchi fries + 6.99 for the boba. I only had to wait about 5-10 min for my order to be ready and everything came out hot and fresh. The fries weren't hot spice-wise, but temperature-wise they were hot and came with about 20 pieces. The potato dog was thickly breaded and had a nice cheese pull on it. I got it without the hot cheeto powder, but the sauce combined with the breading made it slightly sweet? The boba was good and refreshing. Everything was clean inside, good music, and a few tables to sit at. Overall, very filling 2026 #6
