Pros: Friendly staff, good selection of premium food, modern, clean, affordable, great grooming, the best daycare/boarding Cons: Not a huge selection of supplies in general I've bought a variety of different premium dog food here, and they have a frequent buyer card. You get the 11th bag free, which is awesome. Also, I was told that I could bring the food back if my puppy didn't like it. The facility looks clean, they have cameras set up so you can check in on your furbaby. The staff in general love what they do and care about your pets. We bring our little Maltese/Shihtzu here for daycare, and she loves it. As soon as she gets in the door she's squirming to get out of our arms to go play with her friends. She's put in with the smaller/gentler dog group and I think in general it helped her be more confident. They know you and your pet by name here, so it feels like family. The staff is great and extremely accommodating. We had to go out of town for July 4th and although they were booked for boarding, they took her in anyway, I just had to bring her crate. Another time our dog had to have medication as well as drops administered for her hot spots.They took care of her while she was boarding, and now she's healing nicely. I completely trust them and would not go anywhere else for boarding/daycare. Ashley is a wonderful groomer, she expertly cuts shihtzu hair so it's short but still fluffy and adorable. My pup is a regular here, mainly for daycare. She gets incredibly excited when we pull into the parking lot and she realizes where she gets to go for the day. The people who work here are passionate about dogs, and have always provided great service. We buy all our dog food and many of our toys here too - good selection available. I never have to worry about my 'child' here - they take great care of all the dogs! Added bonus is the vet office (Petwell) that is now next door - the vet can check out your dog while he/she is at daycare and call you with any issues or concerns...you can't beat that for service or convenience. read more

That being said, Doguroo is sooo awesome that I was actually able to enjoy my first vacation away from my newest puppy. I just come here for the food..... seriously! I am fortunate enough to have in-laws that love to dog-sit, so I don't ever have to board our little spoiled brat, uhm... I mean dog! So, said spoiled dog has been refusing to eat just about anything we've ever put in her bowl. We've tried and tried and tried. After we've gone through just about every dog food normal pet stores carry, I was directed to try out some frozen meat dog food. We got a small sample bag and our dog's eyes got as big as a kid's on Christmas! After a little bit of internet research, I found out that Doguroo carries our preferred brand of frozen meat doggie deliciousness. At a measly $25-$30 a bag. So, we make the travel to midtown about once a month, so our pup can continue to be spoiled. After several trips and some browsing in-store, we also discovered that they carry a lot of other great pet food. So now our cats also get organic dry food, because the chain pet store food makes them fat and sick. Doguroo's totally won me over a few weeks ago, when we went there and found the perfect Halloween outfit for our chihuahua... a Taco costume!! Hehehe... yeah, we're those kinda people. Anyway, all in all, I love coming here. The staff is super-friendly and know what they're talking about. We has had such a. Ice experience with this place but they make several big mistakes that put in risk the life of my dog and then the happiness. It happened last year but after telling the story to my friends that have dogs and were disappointed that it happened in Doguroo and ate not taken their dogs anymore there I decided to write something for Pets owners to be aware. Shortly story of the key mistakes: My husky suffered from pancreatitis and needs special food or will need to be hospitalized or died. Well, they put the wrong husky in my dog's crate with her special food and mine In the other crate with regular food. The effect is that my dog got pancreatitis and was sick for two weeks with treatment. How did I realize what happened? When I went to pick up Nikita, they gave me wrong husky. Similar but it was obvious that she was another dog as they were not identical at all. The other If mistake is that my other dog was bite by another dog and was bleeding. They couldn't know which dog caused that because they told me they made a mistake to left all the dogs in the playground for 20min. OMG! There were usually more than 30 dogs in a room so I can't imagine the tragedy that can happen with dogs without supervision. They told me that what happened to Sultan is that he may be fighting with Nikita. What such an irresponsible assumption as they have been there for many years and in Petsmart and BARK ATL and never have fought with any dogs and even more between her sister (Nikita) and brother (Sultan) The team is friendly and kind but mistakes like that are ashamed. read more

Our little Beagle-mix absolutely LOVES this place. We use them for daycare on long work days, and Doguroo day is clearly her favorite day of the week. She comes home absolutely exhausted every time. I find that they have great hours, a friendly and fast staff, and cool options like watching your little one on the webcams throughout the day. They're strict on keeping your dogs records up-to-date, which I appreciate, because you know all the other dogs there are safe to play too. Also, you can't beat the convenience for grooming options and on-site veterinary care. Seriously a one-stop shop. We get her groomed on some of her daycare days and she always comes out cute as can be. I will say I've found them to be a touch more expensive for daycare than some of the other places we looked into. However, for a great, flexible staff and as happy as they make my dog, I'm willing to pay the extra few bucks. You can also help offset costs by buying visits in bulk (in which case it's about the same as the other places we checked for single visits). I don't purchase food from here, as some others have said, it's much more expensive than her Science Diet we get at Petsmart. It's more of a "health dog food store" though, so I assume that's why the costs are higher. I haven't boarded my dog here overnight, but we will in the future when needed. I feel 100% certain that she'll be well taken care of and have the time of her life when I do. read more

Dear BLACK PPL! Pls stay away from this location.. the discrimination I felt today was so unreal!! I was referred here by My neighbors, yes they are friendly YT ppl they love me & my puppies! Today 1/26/2022 me and my sister walked inside if this facility to check my puppies into their appointments, as soon as I walk in theirs a lady standing to our right.. she opens her mouth and say "HAND WASH IS THIS WAY I was really confused because I was told the staff was grooming my puppies.. plus she didn't greet us at all very rude!! So I respond my babies had an appointment.. she then speed walk towards the check desk and ask the other YT lady do we have an appointment(clearly I just told her we did)... the lady automatically knew my puppies names but this is their first time coming.. I replied yes this with saying their names.. she replied "before we TOUCH them we need their vaccinated papers.. mind you she didn't greet us either! So at this location they have online portfolio which allows you to upload their VACCINATED PAPERS!!! So at that point I was very confused. To I had to inform her that when idk how she didn't know her job at that point I felt like she was trying to come up with any excuse to why my dogs couldn't get groomed... anyways I was ready to leave and take my babies with me but I had my day already set and I couldn't cancel everything so I allowed them to groom them! She didn't inform me on the payment but I should've asked but thinking if the price my neighbors paid I felt that was a reasonable price because their dogs are big over 40lbs and paid $25.. two big dogs lol so I didn't asked.. but my two little bitty dogs only 15lbs each I was charge almost $100 wow but whatever I paid! Of course they've charge me more then what they've charge my YT neighbors lol, I don't recommend it I could give zero stars I would but my babies was so nice and clean thanks to the BLACK GROOMERS who works at this facility!! read more

This dog facility seemed so legit, until I registered my house trained dog to participate in the $30 trial day for dog daycare, recently. I was so excited to have my dog in dog daycare, especially with the option to check in on him and view the dog daycare activities of the day on the live webcam feed. I monitored my dog's activity 6 hours in and noticed he was standing by the entrance of the fenced in play area, barking continuously. I automatically knew that was a red flag! And I watched a little longer as he stayed near the entrance barking trying to get the dog attendant's attention. From his body language I could tell he needed to go outside to relieve himself. So I tried to call the facility twice to check to see if they could give him a bathroom break. I got no answer and left a voicemail to inform the staff that my dog needed to be walked outside. Unfortunately, I was stuck at work and couldn't leave to rescue my dog. So I just hoped someone got my voicemail and looked into getting him outside. So, once I was able to pick him up at the time I scheduled to get him, he seemed so anxious like he had to go outside, so I immediately asked the attendant that brought him out, how does their system work for bathroom breaks? She explained that all the dogs use it in the indoor play area. I then asked what about dogs who are trained not to use it inside. She then says, if you're concerned about your dog you should tell us, so we can keep an eye out next time, because the dogs normally pick up after the other dogs and just use it inside! Unfortunately, my dog didn't and reversing a dog's training to relieve himself indoors is not a thought through method, at all. In fact, it's beyond inconvenient to any dog owner who has spent any time and money to ensure their dog is house broken. Who wants their house broken dog to think it's okay to relieve themselves indoors at dog daycare. And who wants their dog holding to relieve themselves all day instead of enjoying themselves playing at daycare. Let me add I never received a call and my dog spent about 10 minutes just relieving himself once we stepped outside. And he was pulling me to go back inside after he relieved himself!! But I can't do that to him, again. Thanks Doguroo, we expected so much more from you! read more

I wanted to love this place so badly since it's so close to our home, convenient, has cameras you can check throughout the day, and is affordable. We have a 6 month old puppy who seemed to enjoy his first day there. However, when we picked him up after the trial day we were immediately pulled aside and told our puppy had tried to jump the wall which they consider a red flag but they were "willing to give us another chance". A few days later we dropped Ollie (our puppy) off again for daycare. Our first indicator should of been when Ollie pulled away and was super adamant of not entering the building. Regardless, we let him stay the day. When we went to pick him up the office staff again pulled us aside and mentioned his bad behavior. They also went on to elaborate and say he was anxious and lacking confidence. This struck us as odd since we take him to Fetch Dog Park, Piedmont, Oakhurst, and other dog parks in Atlanta and he's always so playful and has never shown separation anxiety, even when we've left him for a day with family before. Besides, he's a puppy! I really didn't appreciate being made to feel as though my puppy had something wrong. Additionally, the ENTIRE day we had watched Ollie on the cameras and the "jumping" they made such a big deal about was a puppy simply looking over the wall. Granted he's bad at counter surfacing and it's clear this bad habit was carried to daycare it definitely is not the high risk or major issue they made us feel like it was. The thing that made us swear to never take Ollie back again is when they brought him out. He was so incredibly sticky, had poop on one of his ears, and reeked of pee. Did any staff mention that? Nope. We immediately had to go home and wash our puppy. I tried to call and complain and the phones had already been turned off... an hour and a half before they closed. The clear disregard and discourtesy of thinking it's okay to give a dog back in that shape should scare anyone away from this place. read more

Our pup comes here for daycare two or three times a week and we've been coming for about a year now. We absolutely love bringing him here, everyone is so friendly and knows us when we walk in the door. They have a wipe down station to clean off your dog after daycare, with high end products, wipes and cloth towels. We use it every time we pick up our bear. We started out coming to the FREE puppy hour. I tell everyone I know that getting a dog about puppy hour, it's so important to socialize your dog and with their program there's no reason not to. They provide a safe haven to bring a new puppy, you have to show that your pup is up to date on all their shots. They even give you doughnuts and coffee. They have great hours, open until 7:30 for pick up and later than most dog daycares. I have friends that have had to board their dogs overnight because they couldn't get to other daycares by 6:30 or 7 with Atlanta traffic. The market is great too, they have all sorts of natural chews and treats. Our dog loves the lamb skin roll ups. We use their grooming services as well, they are a little on the pricey side, but you can't beat the convenience of one stop shop. Scheduling is sometimes hard, I wish more grooming spots were available but either way Toby always comes out looking great! read more

Fantastic facility with a caring staff. We've been bringing our cavalier here since he was a puppy and never had a bad experience. Highlights: - The staff show personal care for our dog. It seems like they form relationships with individual dogs (remember names, attitudes, and needs). - Puppy hour is a fantastic (and free) offering to get your dog some extra socialization with other pups. They offer two areas for small and/or timid dogs and large and/or high energy dogs. Our dog, at 8lbs, got put in the big dog area so that he could be with other dogs that matched his energy level which we loved because he spends most of his time with large dogs and we wanted him to be comfortable around bigger friends. - Daycare: they make pickup and dropoff easy and have a variety of clean, comfortable, individual kennels. - Free starbucks coffee and dunkin donuts on Saturday mornings is always a nice surprise. We've been taking our dogs here since they were puppies. They started out attending puppy hour on Saturday's and then moved to coming for daycare once a week and boarding. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. The minute we park the car our dogs are excited and pulling us towards the door. They love the staff and are frequently greeted personally by the staff. The groomers are great and knowledgeable as well. Love being able to have our dogs go to daycare and then get their haircuts. Our dogs always go willingly and are happy to be picked up. We've used the self wash and boarding facilities too. It's the only place we'll board our dogs when we travel because we trust them. Our dogs can be picky and when one was protesting being boarded the staff called to ask if they could add anything to his food to get him to eat. They happily got him the food and he began eating again. I cannot day enough good things about the staff and facility. read more

Update 12.2.14 Good Daycare. Nice people. One of the better places in town. Bottom line: It's a kennel. It's corporate. Too big to give the best care. We started out great, I loved Doguroo. However, I think the more popular Doguroo got, the more they forgot their regulars. You hire more young people, you have too many dogs: things fall apart. I have very high standards & I used these guys for months but unfortunately I won't ever be back. I think customer service is decent, but I was made to feel like "that obnoxious client", and you can tell if you interact with them a lot that you're being overly nicely glossed over (with an eye roll or two on the other end). At the end of the day I just became really disillusioned with Doguroo after running into snags over and over where I didn't feel like my dog was getting the care I wanted. The downfall of having me as a client (not the easiest) is 1) I pay close attn. and 2) I've worked with dogs my whole life. My dad trained police dogs, I worked in kennels & vets from 14yrs old until I went to college, we bred dogs growing up, and I've had problem dogs and great dogs and all sorts of dogs inbetween. I foster, I volunteer, I'm a dog nerd. Having worked in vets and kennels, I can tell you: You have your favorite dogs that come in, and you have the energetic/complicated/handful dogs. Do the handful dogs DESERVE all the love the easy dogs get? Of course!!! But do the handful dogs get treated differently? ABSOLUTELY. Why? Kennel work isn't always a forever job. Some of those folks are inbetween, going to school, or they work part time. It's not a forever kind of gig for everyone. Sometimes employees aren't as committed, or as kind to your dog, or as thoughtful to your dog, as you hope they'd be. The lack of group dedication shone on one too many occasions, and now I won't return. I have a really high strung dog. If I didn't I wouldn't need daycare once or twice a week (duh). My dog is a bully mix. They play rough, jump, and are mouthy. When I first got him, I had him assessed at Jabula. Head trainer/owner verbatim: "this dog does not have a mean bone in his body." I take him to the dog park, we have play dates 4-5 times a week with other dogs. I've never seen anything but friendly normal behavior. Sure, dogs will assert themselves as they get older and they're trying to position themselves in a pack. He also "grew up" at Doguroo, so the staff was watching a dog grow into his own skin, push boundaries, & gain confidence. It takes attention, and work, to manage a very energetic dog. You know what's easier? If the group starts getting too rowdy, or if you feel like you're having to watch this dog a lot? Toss him in the back. And that's what they did. Over. And over. I'd call and ask where he was: "OH we were JUST about to let him back out." I started to get less and less convinced he wouldn't back there all day if I hadn't called. I'm paying 20+$ a day for my dog to be ignored? The reasoning for his being pulled out of the yard was always "growling" or "nipping". I don't see how he would ever be aggressive. However, let's say he was. The correct response would be to work harder to correct him, and if it wasn't going to work out -kick us out of daycare. A larger worry for me is - my dog never acts this way. He goes to other daycares & we don't have this problem. Why would he act this way at Doguroo? Something just wasn't right. We also had an infraction one day when I witnessed aggression toward my dog. The worker stomped hard next to his paws & ran toward him & pointed in his face. My dog reacted fearfully: he cowered down and lunged away. {Insert boiling blood} Especially with bullies, zero violence correction is huge. I talked with management and they "talked to the worker". But if that's what happens in front of the cameras..It's not boding well for the back of the house (based on my experience). Straws broke us, but nonetheless - we're done. Previous Review: Doguroo has cameras that you can actually SEE your dog on (and the Mac cam works on iPhone 5!). The Whole Dog market in their lobby is the jam. *On your first visit they give you 5$ coupons for grooming, daycare, boarding, training, etc etc.*OH AND - they give you an amazingly detailed report card with personal input. You get a really clear and honest report of how your dog did. Daycare comes with your boarding fee. Wooot. I boarded my dog there when we went abroad, and like a crazy person gave a 2 page list of instructions. I sent him with toys and blankets and rugs. They accommodated everything. I even emailed them multiple times &asked how my dog was doing & if they understood my instructions, etc.etc. They answered back thoughtfully and honestly. It was pretty great. *He's also super energetic and they let him get a late pickup since we up-sized our bath, so he could get as much playtime as possible before pick up. Doguroo = bad experience. We left our baby for boarding last weekend and we picked her up in severe pain. She severely hurt her neck and has been on pain medication and anti inflammatory all week. I called to see if we could leave her again this weekend but keep her alone away from other dogs in her cage. While the staff was very friendly and said of course we can do that and we are so sorry for what happened, the manager was rude and very unaccommodating. I will be taking my baby back to our usual doggie daycare and boarding, camp woof, who while far away from us, is more than happy to care for her. read more

My beloved lab boarded at Doguroo this past weekend. On Sat. night, I received a call saying that she had worms in her stool so she wouldn't be able to mix with the other dogs for the rest of her stay. This is troublesome on several levels. She boarded there in June and the same thing happened. Since she was staying the whole week, they sent her to PetWell next door, ran tests, put her on meds, etc. but she was confined the rest of the week and in addition to a big boarding bill, I had a big vet bill. This time, since she was there for 3 days, I said I would take her to my own vet on Monday morning which I did. Well, guess what--she DOES NOT have worms! He tested the stool sample that was sent home from Doguroo and did another sample....no worms. So I find it a strange coincidence that this has happened twice and I am beginning to wonder if she even had them in June like they said she did. Part of why I send my dog to Doguroo is so that she can play all day and not be confined. Instead, the 2 times she has boarded there, she hasn't been able to mix with the other dogs. While the check in process is easy, they seem well staffed, and they do call if they see a problem, I will not board my dog there again. The "supposed" worm deal just seemed way too coincidental, and I don't trust them with my dog. read more

Doguroo is seriously the best in Atlanta! I've sent my dog to other daycares, but the others do not even compare to Doguroo. Doguroo has amazing employees who make me feel comfortable leaving my dog. They promote communication between their clients (via phone calls, live video cams, etc.) and have reached out in even the slightest of concerns (e.g., when my dog was scared of a thunderstorm). They are extremely thorough and know you by name when you walk in. I am 100% comfortable leaving my (sometimes crazy) pup with them! read more

I've been taking my dog to Doguroo for boarding and daycare for three years now, and it's been such a positive experience that I'm now embarrassed that I haven't written a review yet. My dog can be a little shy and neurotic at times, but she practically leaps over me to get out of the car and into the building. She throws herself at any staff member who approaches her and she prances across the room as they take her into the play area. And I know she has a great time while she's there - I can check on her via the doggy-cams and see photos of her too. My squirrely dog is so comfortable there, she'll just lie down on her back in the middle of the daycare room and wiggle. That's a great testimonial in my book. Staff and management are really dog-savvy overall, and they were very helpful when she went thru a phase of rushing the gate (and occasionally getting snarky with other dogs) as other dogs were being taken out for pick-up. I was freaked out when it first happened but was assured that lots of dogs do it and that they'd work with her on it. I'm really grateful that they were able to do that, they kept me informed and she seemed to get over it quickly. (I have friends who have not had positive experiences with "incidents" at other facilities - including not being informed about a fight or fights & being called while out of town and being told they need to pick up their dog. So I am especially appreciative of Doguroo's professionalism.) The staff here will even point out if Zoe got a little scratch or scrape while playing. That level of attentiveness and their knowledge of dog behavior is very reassuring. She's sometimes kind of stinky when I pick her up, but that is just a part of doggy daycare, not unique to Doguroo. And as I mentioned, she is rolling around on the floor when she's there. She's a very low-maintenance breed when it comes to grooming (she's a bull terrier), so I don't know a lot about professional grooming practices and prices - but I can say, when I do have her bathed there, she's always clean & soft, she smells good and she doesn't act freaked out like something awful happened to her. It's always worth the money after she's boarded although I rarely have her bathed there otherwise. When she boards, the staff is always super receptive if I need them to give her meds, ear drops, have her butt wiped regularly (yes, I will admit that I have to ask them to do that if she's going to be staying overnight. It's the only high-maintenance part of her grooming routine.) I like that I can check the doggy cams and daily photos, and everyone's so helpful if I call in to be sure things are going well. (Now, I am a dog food snob of the highest order, so I really appreciate the brands and lines that Doguroo carries, and I don't mind paying more for dog food that isn't full of junk. I certainly haven't priced everything they carry, but the things that I buy really aren't much cheaper online and definitely aren't any cheaper at other high-end pet places around town. They're very knowledgeable about nutrition & have been quite helpful when I've needed to switch foods or figure out treats that my dog can have. It's taken me some time to gather my thoughts after boarding my dog the last weekend of June to write a post. I went to pick up my dog on Sunday after a weekend trip and expected her to be bathed and cleaned. An employee brings out a dog That DOES NOT belong to me(about 20 pounds less and diff color than mine) puzzled, I responded that wasn't my dog. About 15 minutes later, the GM comes out and says there has been a mixup and my dog did not get a bath; she chalked it up to new employees. Annoyed, I washed my dog and put her and my belongings in the car and drove off. I realized while driving that she still had 2 bags of food left and started to wonder more about the mix up. I called and asked more questions...the GM finally came clean that she was put in the wrong den the night before. Panicking I asked if she had been offered another dogs food, explaining she has pancreatitis and could get very sick. Her response "one meal shouldn't hurt her". In fact, my dog had been given the other dogs food; and she did not have her cone on so she was able to get to her hot spot. She handled this situation very poorly not only did she not offer to make things better but she was simply unapologetic. After 8 years of being a loyal customer I am deeply disappointed and trusted them with my baby. It took 4 days of calling and voicemails for them to give me a refund for the bath I never got; and didn't bother to call and apologize. read more

Took my toy poodle last week to get a summer cut. Although the price was ok I ended up having to pay $101 in get bills because they gave him the equivalent of razor burn on his bottom from shaving him so close. He had to get a cortisone injection and the vet said that the shampoo they used is for " extremely dirty dogs" and was too strong to use on a dog just getting a normal bathing. My dog was so uncomfortable for the entire week after grooming and I will likely never use them again. read more

And it doesn't hurt that they also offer human treats in the form of King of Pops and a coffee machine. I came in early on a Sunday morning (that's right - they open at 7:30am on Sundays!) looking for a dog carrier for my 10 lb chihuahua pug mix in preparation for her upcoming flight. We walked into the store and were warmly greeted by the two female employees at the main desk. The main shop area consists of four or five tall shelving units with bowls, toys, clothing, collars, leashes, etc. They have a little area with buckets of treats of many different varieties. From thunder shirts to collapsible travel bowls, they have all of the little knick knacks you might need for your pooch. I perused the shelves looking for carriers, but there weren't too many. They only had 2 or 3 different models on the floor for sale. We opted for a large black carrier that had a little bit of dust on it from being on display. We purchased the large carrier, but I was tempted to double check the airplane requirements for carrier dimensions on my cell phone before pulling out of the parking lot. I'm glad I did - the carrier we purchased was a bit too tall. We promptly walked back in and filled the friendly staff members in on our dilemma. They were determined to help us in our quest one of them magically pulled out a model that we hadn't seen on the floor but looked just right. Another employee pulled out a tape measurer when we found a plausible fit that didn't show the dimensions on the box or the tag (very silly). After discovering that this particular carrier would be just the right fit, the sweet staff member double checked to ensure that all the pieces were there - including the long shoulder strap. "That would be so disappointing to get ready to head to the airport and realize you don't have the right straps!" So thoughtful. The team effort and the dedication to customer satisfaction made me fall in love with this place. While I wasn't all that impressed with the way their carriers were presented, that is small potatoes when I reflect upon how awesome the people are there. If they are that invested in helping me find a carrier for my dog, I would absolutely trust them with handling my dog and taking care of her should I need boarding or grooming services. My friends who have brought their dogs to Doguroo or who have used their services are equally as thrilled about the place. read more

Workers are extremely rude. Maybe it was a bad day but don't ask any simple questions about what they carry. Was cutoff mid sentence from a worker with a short, frustrated reply and no assistance or follow up. She seemed annoyed to have to help someone. Bad experience. read more

Self wash great idea, poorly executed. The tubs are elevated ,which is nice. However even with the collar attachment my 35lb. Lab was still able to jump out of the tub, drenching me in the process. The main reasons I chose Doguroo was their self wash included use of the dryer, shampoos and styling tools. The dryer was ridiculously loud and with out a grooming table it was impossible to keep my dog in place so that I could dry her. The shampoo and conditioner were in large generic bottles and were basically filled with water; absolutely useless. Lastly I was excited to have an array of grooming tools to use until I saw the clumps of matted hair stuck in every brush. The brushes looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Needless to say they have a very nice set up, but poor upkeep. read more

All of my experience with Doguroo has been positive. I am able to buy high quality food from them and get advice when I change brands or have a dog with a sensitive stomach. They are easy to talk to and very helpful. Boarding here has been a likewise easy experience. The staff members remember my dogs by name and know their personality (ie: Mayzie really likes to be held). While I am gone I can check in on my dog's play group via their webcams. When I return to pick my dogs up a staff member brings them out along with a log of their activity (play, eating habits) so I know exactly how they did while I was gone. read more

Bronco, our Boston Terrier, seems to love this place. He goes for doggy day care at least one Saturday a month and we also use them for boarding. Although the staff may only see him one day a month, they call his name as he's walking through the door as if they just saw him. I'd like to think they remember him for his great personality and not for the pee and/or poop he may be leaving all over the place - they've never mentioned anything so I'm assuming it's the former. read more

Doguroo has its ups and downs. I was a loyal customer for over a year, but I had a few encounters that convinced me to steer clear. First of all, they have a free puppy hour on Saturday mornings for free. This is really cool, and a great way for young puppies ( less than 3 months ) to get socialized. As far as the retail goes, all their stuff is more ridiculously priced that Pet-smart. Stick with on-line retailers like Amazon. The dry, canned, and frozen food selection is pretty good ( higher-end, natural foods ) and the price becomes reasonable with their loyalty / bulk programs. Things got very bad for me when it came to the boarding and daycare ( i.e. the main part of their business ). I tried to make a holiday boarding reservation for my dog months in ahead, and to prepare him I tried to set him up for his trial day. The manager informed me that they had space, but only do holiday reservations for their loyal customers, and I would be three days to late with the trial day to be considered that. I explained to him that I had been coming to Doguroo for all my dog food, retail, and puppy hour needs for over a year and I had tried on numerous occasions to do my dog's trial day in the past - There seems to be an insider's club of sorts at Doguroo. Be prepared to schedule your Trial Day weeks in advance. Numerous times I called days ahead and they told me they were booked for the entire week or longer. I guess they aren't too interested in getting new customers - Well, he brushed all that off as inconsequential I guess and refused me anyways. I went ahead and scheduled the trial day anyways, figuring it would be nice to get it out of the way ( Oops! ). I got a call in the early afternoon of the Trial Day that my dog had to be put in solitary confinement because he was clearing the fence separating the large and small dog sections of the daycare. My dog is not a jumper and has no history of jumping over anything, but he is a young Weimaraner ( you know a dog with legs and stuff that he can use to jump I guess if he feels like it). I immediately came in to pick up my dog. An employee explained to me that this has happened before with other dogs, and they can't handle that behavior so they "failed" my dog. It was at that point that I decided I failed Doguroo ( and would not go back ) for having such a inadequate facility to not be able to confine my very normal dog, and, moreover, management who doesn't implement the obvious solution of making the fence higher if dogs are jumping over it. After trying a few other places, my dog and I have found a daycare that we are both very happy with. read more

This place is fantastic. They always have great prices and the staff are knowledgeable and fun. Unfortunately my retriever isn't social with his own kind, or I'd bring him here for daycare and boarding. read more

My dogs love Doguroo! The staff at Doguroo go above and beyond for me every time I take my dogs in for daycare or leave them for boarding. They are very knowledgeable about the dogs well being and always help me with any nutrition question I can throw at them. Their store is always very clean and they have any food or supplies I could possibly need. I feel like they truly care for the animals and I feel assured my dogs are treated very well when I'm away. Doguroo is the only place I will take my loved ones. I highly recommend! read more

I've been using Doguroo for about a year or so now. Sadly my dog doesn't go to daycare as often as I'd like, but they always remember him even if it's been a few weeks since his last visit. My dog ALWAYS comes back happy as a clam and tired (thank god!). I love these guys and highly recommend them to anyone who is in search for a great daycare and boarding facility for their pup. read more

I don't take my dog to doggy daycare or boarding. But I buy food and treats there. They are always helpful and have great products.

Took my 3month old Shorkie here for the first time today! We did the Saturday Puppy hour and I will DEFINITELY be coming back!!! The staff members are very welcoming and made us feel right at home! Also the other families that bring their dogs there all seem so friendly and everyone just seems genuinely happy to be there and happy to be helpful with all the puppies! At the end of the puppy hour, the Dog trainers come and do a brief training session and answer questions that person may have. I can't say enough how much I love this place and look forward to bringing my dog there again! Also for first timers, they gave us a folder at the end with coupons and a free bag of quality brand dog food!
