After having this spot on my to-visit list for a while, I finally made it down to this establishment. My girlfriend and I came on a Saturday afternoon, and we ordered a few items to try. Looking at all the reviews and pictures online, we believe we ordered the 3 most popular items from here. The first sandwich we tried was the pepperoni pink panther hero. This sandwich was amazing. It consisted of chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni; all on garlic bread. Having this sandwich while it was still warm was so good. We loved this one. Next, we tried their famous prosciutto bread. This bread was super loaded with meats and cheese on the inside. Every bite you take, you get lots of meat pieces; which is awesome. Just the way you want your prosciutto bread to be. Another amazing item here. And lastly, we had the Italian Special hero. This was my favorite one of the three. This one was loaded with so many different deli meats, I loved it. Containing prosciutto, soppressata, capocollo, mortadella, provolone, ham, homemade fresh mozzarella, it was delicious. Haven't been here in awhile, but since I started working in the area I thought I'd drop in again. It was around 4 after work, they're only open until about 5 which I think they should be open later. Though by the time I ordered a sandwich they were out of most of the rolls so I had to get it on one of the biggest ones and ended up costing like $15. I mean maybe it's a good place for wealthy folks, considering the town it's in... I might drop in on paydays but not too regularly on that account. read more

First heard of this Deli on Triple D.An amazing Deli with every kinda salad and food imaginable. I purchased 2 pieces of eggplant and stuffed longhots. 2 Boylans Root Beer, needless to say it was very pricey, all items I checked out were very expensive. I couldn't afford to eat there every week. Few things here. 1- Just because they sell Italian items does not mean they're Italian. 2- I have not had a pastry that is not stale. All of them, and more than 3 times. 3- Prices...ohh gosh. Most of the items that you sell, can be found in Shop Rite for half the price...what's with overpricing everything?? Democrat inflation... 4- The deli Lady...how rude! 5-The kind girl offered a free cookie to my daughter (She was very nice!) unfortunately, my daughter chose a pretzel, thee discouragement behind the counter was as if there would be a $15 loss...I ended up paying for the pretzel. I don't mind the $0.15 difference. 6- $1 if you use your credit/debit card. Not enough with the high prices, but also charge a card fee. Ambiance...ok, if you're a little overweight don't go in. You won't make it through the isles. The two stars are for the great bread that they make. If you raise the price on that, I'd still buy it because it's worth it and really good. read more

Absolutely some of the best food and best service that I've ever experienced! We ordered a catering delivery on very short notice due to a family emergency. The catering manager talked us through the menu to select the best options for the circumstances, i.e. how much food to order, which menu items will stay freshest in the refrigerator, etc. The delivery arrived within a very short time, despite the fact that we had provided an incorrect address. Their delivery driver went to the extra effort to find the right house so that our food arrived safely and quickly. And by the way, the food was fantastic! Beautiful trays full of Italian sandwiches, including a vegetarian option. The sandwiches were loaded with high quality meats, cheeses, eggplant, and chicken cutlets. Dolce and Clementes also provided a huge bowl full of fresh sweet fruit, an unbelievable charcuterie tray, and a fresh salad with delicious homemade balsamic dressing. I don't think I've ever had a better sandwich made on such wonderful freshly baked Italian bread. Thanks go out to the whole team. I will order again soon. read more

Outstanding. Best milk chocolate dipped cannoli I've ever had. Filling was just perfect, not too sweet. Shrimp parm was delicious, just what I hoped for (my first time trying one). It's overwhelming. I would need at least an hour to discover all the many gourmet delights. But I was with Mr. Impatient, so we got a couple of sandwiches and a loaf of the prosciutto bread. Things change and with everyone dealing with COVID right now, safety is an important aspect to consider when reviewing. Thus I see the need to round up to 4 stars. This business is fortunate in that it has enough space that it was able to set up a good socially distanced system of ordering and waiting in line to order. My first visit here during this time and I brought my elderly uncle. There is only one entrance now, far to the left at the front of the building. Safety signs were large and at the forefront. Upon entering you are in the dessert section( which was sadly forgotten about once the rest of the food was on view) and the line to order forms in the second room where more desserts and fresh bread was on display. There are social distancing floor markers and even a sanitizer station. Newbies like us are able to pass the line to see what is available in the cases, or even just to pick up grab and go things or other groceries. We then came back to the end of line to place our order. I wanted a classic Italian and he chose sausage parmigiana, both hero size. They use wide semolina bread, a hero is half a loaf, fairly large and a good vehicle for whichever one you decide on. My uncle also ordered a few prepared items, their boss of sauce( hearty and meaty Sunday gravy) which I like too, and stuffed cabbage. The sandwiches were prepared quickly and perfectly while we waited. Many other items looked good and I know from experience you can spend a lot in here when coming in hungry. Back at his house we both enjoyed our sandwiches. Even though enough for 2, somehow I ate mine entirely, while he likely has 3 more servings. I've been coming here even before I was Yelping, and there have been a few items I know to skip now. But an equal amount of ones I like. The salad selection and in fact all the prepared food choices have lessened, and I think that's good. There really used to be too many choices crammed into the cases. For now, more focus is better. They still make their own mozzarella, and I've enjoyed their fresh( Brooklyn) bread and homemade soups. They carry a dizzying array of Italian specialty products, I would dare say the balsamic selection is second to none. After today's visit I'll plan on returning for some soup and frozen raviolis, and maybe other grab and go things. But the sandwiches are so good I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with one of those bad boys too. read more

It's Disney World for the ones who find joy in a loaf of prosciutto bread, who look on in wonderment at the cases of freshly prepared rice balls and pastas, who find comfort in that first bite of a sweet cannoli. I stopped by yesterday and was greeted by a room full of Italian pastries, immediately making a beeline to the rainbow cookies. I then made my way into the deli where I ordered a pink panther and a mixed meatball/sausage hero, along with a Sicilian rice ball and a fresh loaf of Stromboli. After making my way through the cheese displays, I was finally ready to check out and noticed Tony Soprano himself smiling down on me, along with a few other iconic Italians who reassured me I made the right choice. The sandwiches were nothing short of magic. The Pink Panther is the winner here - fried chicken cutlet bathed in vodka sauce topped with a blanket of fresh mozzarella and served on a toasted roll of garlic bread. The rice ball was bursting with flavor. Perfectly solid, yet moist. We heated a slice of the Stromboli in the oven and were blown away with how perfectly dense, moist, yet solid it was. The flavor was everything you would imagine it to be and more. The rainbow cookies were another star that deserves major recognition. They were straight up perfection and are already gone, so I definitely recommend getting at least a pound if you are sharing. D&C is a treasure and deserves all of the accolades they receive. It's very easy to get carried away and leave with at least six more things than you intended, but one thing I can tell you is you'll never have regrets. read more

I was able to get my pastries and then I went over to the food section because I heard them Ask the couple in front of me if they were getting food also The young boys and the man at the food counters totally ignored me and the food was all wrapped up because it had turned 5 o'clock... I come here pretty frequently for bread and sometimes some specialty meats. I've tried the anti pastas and some of the pasta salad, super salty and way over dressed. Sandwiches are pretty good, when they get your order right. The leadership here could be desired. Felt really bad for the staff that I saw being yelled at by the older woman who works here. Treat them better, they're working hard! They have a bakery as well, lots of your traditional Italian sweets. I heard about this place through a coworker and she said to get their Groupon deal which can save a few bucks. I didn't know what to expect when coming to this place. When I came to the store today, I was so pleased by all the food options and sandwiches they offer. I got the hero Italian special, the hero pink panther, some homemade cheese spread, cranberry chicken sandwich, and dry meat. The pink panther sandwich was so delicious! Love it! The Italian special was also good! They did not go shy on the meats! Soo amazing as well! I haven't try the cranberry sandwich yet so I'm excited to try it soon. The service was good as well! Everyone was helpful and kind. Although there was a line for the sandwiches, it moves pretty quick so don't be afraid by the long line.
