would've given this spot 5 stars if it weren't so expensive! the whole menu is definitely pricey but paying $9 for a hot oat milk latte is actually wild to me. it was delicious so glad it was worth it but definitely would not be going out of my way to spend that much on a latte. the service was very quick and they have a ton of seating inside and outside (covered) so there's multiple options & it's super cute inside which is always a plus. glad i got to try it & we got lucky to find seating on a sunday afternoon.

Great coffee spot with an impressive food menu. Only had a cappuccino, but it was well done and in a stylish cup. Their smoothies and other food options look great. Place was very busy on a Saturday - nearly impossible to get seating.

Cute coffee spot! I love mushroom coffee and have been looking for chaggachino's in the city, so glad I found one here! Came on a Sunday with a friend and it was easy to find and right next to the elephant migration exhibit. There was plenty of seating inside and an even deeper interior with more tables, so a nice spot when it's too cold or rainy to take your coffee date on foot. Very cute and cozy inside, though the bathroom is very cramped and would be nice if there were multiple so not a line each time. It is a bit expensive and it took a minute for me to get my order, but I wasn't in a rush so it wasn't a big deal. I'd come back if I'm ever meeting a friend in the area!

I came here on a Saturday for a pre-dinner drink around 5. We didn't have reservations and the wait was about 15 minutes, but it got busy right after we arrived and the wait jumped up to 30-40 minutes. The shop has two sections. Part of it is more of a grab and go coffee place and the other part is a sit and sip restaurant that serves cocktails. The restaurant space was small and cozy. It felt like a charming European bistro with small tables, upholstered velvet couches, and exposed brick. To eat, we shared the wild mushroom tartine. It was very tasty. The thinly sliced sourdough bread was generously topped with mushrooms and a truffle aioli. The truffle flavor was barely detectable and the aioli was very mayo-forward, but I enjoyed it as a snack. I am not a coffee drinker and it was a chilly winter day so I was initially drawn to the mulled wine. However, I decided to "when in Rome" it since they are known for espresso drinks and got a hot Lucky Spike Latte. It was sweet and foamy. They offer a choice of whole, skim, almond, or oat milk. I opted for almond and it balanced the drink out nicely. This was a good option for me as the coffee flavor was not overpowering. My partner got the hot toddy and enjoyed it. Both drinks were quite strong. They were busy and we were asked to give up the table after we paid our bill, so it's not really a place to sit and chat if you are not going to continue to order drinks.

Kobrick has amazing coffee and a sweet treat with a really fun, laid back environment. If you're needing a break from the business of NYC, stop in here & cozy up in their adorable booth seating & egg chairs. It's a great spot to relax, unwind, and/or work from home..:. And the lattes are delicious

I came here on a mission to do a lil computer work and have a matcha latte. Good vibe and there is ample seating to lock in. The matcha is THIC ? It's a lil clumpy and dense idk if it's the ratio of matcha to milk they use or what. I feel like some people wouldn't like that cus it's thic and bitter and chunky but I didn't mind it tbh. I love the taste of matcha. I sat at the round table in the back NEENAW NEENAW alert WARNING! if you sit here and other ppl come sit w u too and they move, ur gonna be irritated. Table is WOBBLY!!! Any leaning will move entire thing. Also the wifi goes in and out so if u have anything serious to do that requires wifi DONT COME. Or if your devices are dying odds are there might not be available outlets for u to use (one behind me was busted) Otherwise if ur looking for a chill spot to sit back at, this spot is great. I got the Italian sandwich for a snack and it was yummmmmmmie. Lots of tomato and moz (which for the price, there better be) it was refreshing! Anyways I'll be back

Ina word, fantastic! Located in one of the best neighborhoods of NY, this place does not disappoint. There are actually two doors to two separate sections, one of which is sit down service. Both are nicely decorated with warm colors that put you at ease. They have a nice selection of sweets and superb coffees. My flat white was simply perfect. So was the mango muffin. Just wow! No question about it, I'm coming back.

I have been coming to Kobrick's for almost 10 years now. It used to be my after college classes spot to do homework with a matcha latte and I've loved to see the place grow! If I'm ever in the area for an event or dinner with friends, I try to stop by for a nightcap.Or if I'm in between meetings during working day, I still stop in for a matcha latte. The staff have always been super friendly here, you can find the owner here very often. The newer café part is super cute, but I do love the original little bar area with café tables in the back.

This place is so cute! I came with a friend around 2:30/3 pm on a rainy Saturday. We had to wait a little bit for a table since there aren't that many tables in the back. They also enforce no laptops. I got 2 peppermint lattes ($6.90 each). I really enjoyed it and found it to not taste artificial like some other places. My friend got hibiscus tea (which has such a cute presentation), hot chocolate, and salmon bagel. I would definitely come back!

Decaf Oatmilk Latte & Vanilla Bean Cheesecake
    Ebony C.

Cocktails, coffee, & cheesecake...seriously what else do you need? I've visited this spot as a stop over before my final destination. I've had their yummy gin cocktails and coffee. Never disappointed! Today, I decided to have dessert before dinner. The vanilla bean cheesecake was just right. Right size and right amount of sweet I needed. Cute getting to know you date spot or catch up with some drinks after work...those are the vibes I get from here. Just try it!

I was expecting big things but was let down by their brunch and coffee experience. They have ample seating inside and outside which is nice. I got the breakfast burrito and it was meh. The egg consistency reminded me of buffet eggs that you would get at a 3 star hotel. The burrito was watery (maybe from the spinach?) and bland. The coffee was bitter, I got a cappuccino with oat milk and it was so bitter it was undrinkable. I don't even know what could possibly have gone wrong to lead to the bitterness. The berries and cream smoothie was okay. It leans heavy on the milk/creamy side. You order at the counter, wait for your food at the counter, and sit down wherever.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread, Chocolate Babka
    Madeline A R.

Ah another NYC cute place with bad serviceThe staff was unfriendly. The plain matcha wasn't good, but the lavender matcha was delicious. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the pastries. The banana bread was pretty good. Not a fan of the chocolate Babka. Probably better coffee shops around. BUTTTT the inside was really cute with a lot of seating!

    Scenery inside.

NYC is huge. It has so many coffee shops with great espresso beans, flavors, and options. This Kobrick Coffee location puts some of the other shops I have visited in the city to shame. The flavor of just its plain latte gave me the perfect first sip. It was not sweet and sweet all at the same time. I could taste the coffee still, yet it was not bitter at all. Their specialty latte equally was just sweet enough - even Goldilocks would agree and not need to try any others. Another thing she would need to try only once and be happy with would be Kobrick's ricotta toast. The ricotta was the perfect amount and also tasty - definitely not dry. That + the fruit + honey were exactly what the doctor ordered for happiness. If its products were not good enough, its service and people were nice, competent, thorough and patient. Anyone who spends a bit of time there can see that they clean the tables; they pay attention to the needs of not only the shop but its patrons; and if you ask nicely enough, they take photos of you in their lovely establishment.

Could this be a good place to study at during the day? Thank you!

It definitely seemed like it to me! We were there around mid-day on a Monday and it was pretty quiet. That being said it looks like the kind of place that could get really busy later in the day or on weekends. Not sure about their WiFi availability.

Good place to study after midnight?

I'd say no. It's pretty small and it gets lively. It's definitely more a bar than a coffee shop at night, though their espresso drinks are amazing.

What time do they start serving cocktail/open the back room?

I've had lunch in the back room several times during the week & seen cocktails served. I would call about weekend hours though.

One person in our group may have seemed a little off, and because of that, the staff refused to serve any of us alcohol. We get that they have policies to follow, but it felt a bit unfair to penalize the entire group--especially since the rest of us weren't drinking or acting out of line. To make things more confusing, they came back later and said we could order alcohol after all, but by that point, the mood was already off and we decided to leave. The place didn't seem bad overall, but that experience definitely left a sour taste. Maybe we just caught them on a weird night. Wouldn't recommend especially being in the wine country.

There were a few martini options I had my eye on, and with happy hour, I was able to pick 3 as part of the mini martini flight, a huge score. I got the cornstar, espresso, and Chelsea martinis. The espresso martini was fine, but I'd skip it for another one next time. The cornstar and Chelsea on the other hand were amazing. Would've loved to have either of these in a full size version. Everyone else in the group also liked all of the drinks they got. I got an aviation after happy hour and liked this one too, but the martinis were still my favorite. To eat we ordered the Whipped ricotta and French fries (asked for no truffle), both were great! Overall it's a cool vibey spot with great drinks and some good shareable plates! My only two gripes with the spot were - they didn't acknowledge my birthday, even with a happy birthday from my server or the hostess. I am not sure why Resy prompted me to indicate the occasion if it wouldn't even be acknowledged or looked at. It obviously feels good to feel celebrated, so they dropped the ball in this regard. The second issue is it got sickeningly loud inside. This was a sunday night, and I ended up having to shout just to be heard by the girl right next to me. Everything else was good! Though there wasn't a dish that just blew my mind, everything was consistently really good and enjoyable. I recommended ordering a handful of dishes and sharing with a group. The cornstar martini was fun (and the popcorn was great!), the vodka pasta, caesar salad, and truff fries were enjoyable as well. The cute matchboxes were a cherry on top as we were leaving! I would come back for more of a going out event instead of a sit down dinner, but it's a cool spot!

We thought mini golf was interactive, everyone had the same chance to play and it's simple enough without exerting too much energy (unlike an escape room or the dancing tiles which I also came across in my research). They also told us about the rooftop lounge, which is covered with plastic and they have heaters blasting the space. We went with the cabin themed. Although I don't think they completely blocked the 3rd floor with the party, we just didn't want to have to compete with others and wanted a quiet experience. They have stairs or an elevator. Once we got to the 2nd floor, we were the only ones there and were explained how the digital scoring works. We inputted our names, and our scoreboard would follow us from board to board in sequence after we all punched in our scores. The max was 6 putts per course to help keep things moving (we definitely played more than 6 on some courses lol). The courses did progressively get more challenging as you moved on. The decor was beautiful. Fairy lights lined the space with murals or a ski lodge/mountains around with a polar bear and a ski mobile. Many cute photo ops. On the last course, once you made it, the game swallowed your ball, I guess to help prevent you from trying to play the course again. I wish there was more than 9 courses though. It was fun enough but maybe having a few more would have helped fill the time more. Time flew by and we had lots of laughs. Would be excited to come back to try the museum course next time.

After some back-and-forth, we learned the vouchers could only be used on the second floor, and if used for drinks, there was only one option available -- a blue rum drink with coconut. Unfortunately, the drink missed the mark for me and my friends, and the recipe could definitely use some improvement. We were also never shown where our reserved seating was, which was disappointing. That said, I had an amazing group of friends, and we still made the night a lot of fun. We played the Lodge course on the second floor, which is their most challenging course and beautifully decorated. I also loved the tablet that kept score for us -- it was a great touch. The rooftop area is another highlight: it's heated and really enjoyable during the winter. Overall, while the atmosphere and mini golf were fun, I wouldn't book a party package again -- it wasn't worth the cost. Next time, I'd just pay for mini golf directly.
