SO freaking cool! Highly recommend coming here! You go around and smell the teas in the little jar to pick out which one you want to order. For 2 people, we found the tea pot a great deal with 2 glasses each! They "recommend" you pair it with a food item which was definitely just a money grab and I didn't like that. Not much seating but the place is small so they're doing the best they can. Really cool space

Cute tea shop. Ambiance is cute and loved my choice, wish they added sugar as I had ordered. Small space but they maximize it pretty well.

we made a reservation ahead of time to visit this little tea shop! this unassuming store front had the most cozy and quaint interior ever! beautifully designed and decorated we got in and heard we had to order a tea pot per person and order 1 food item minimum for the table. honestly, it was a bit disappointing to hear that, esp bc we were quite full and was planning to share but i understand that its a financial decision and i would be supporting a small business! we got to walk around and smell all the different tea leaves and blends before deciding on our individual pots. i chose ginger tea bc i wanted something gentle on the stomach and caffeine free! i knew it would taste comforting and help with digestion. we also got these pistachio financiers to share! they taste like sweet lil muffins we also received some milk and honey to add to our teas! i mainly used the honey to sweeten my ginger tea there was a time limit to how long we could stay inside. i dont remember how long but we left in an hour. overall, this was a really nice place to sit and relax with good company :) or by yourself! time definitely stops when youre here sipping on tea. its great to take a pause sometimes! i would come back if i ever need a moment to wind down

Such a cool spot to chill at. So many different types of teas it was so hard to choose. It's such a perfect place for a rainy day. I only knock off one star because the employees were a bit rude but I would come back!

The most adorable and perfect tea house with cozy ambience, soft lighting, indoor and outdoor seating, and shelves lined with an impressive variety of teas. My friends and I each selected a tea, ordered a pot, and sat outside in the little streetery. 10/10 hygge

What a lovely place for a cup of tea. The photos make this shop almost look like a library, but on closer inspection all the containers on the shelves are the different flavors of tea sorted by category. There are two tables located inside the shop with a larger number located in the roofed housing outside. The vibes are real chill both inside and out complimenting the tea choices very well. There also small tasty bites to choose from including baked goods and sandwiches. We ended up going with sticky rice and salmon sandwiches. The tea was steeped perfectly and was the right amount of natural sweetness and bold flavor, very relaxing. The staff inside adds to the ambiance by being helpful but also allowing you peruse and smell the tea samples without any pressure. A gem of a find.

I love the aesthetic of this tea shop, super cozy place to sit for an hour or so. Seating is very limited so I recommend either getting here early, around opening, or making a reservation. The selection here is pretty impressive and you're able to smell the tea before you choose one. I chose the rose congou, which had this lovely fragrance. They have a selection of baked goods as well (I got a lemon cake), which was okay but I mainly recommend the tea.

This is the best tea house I've been to in nyc. Paquita is unpretentious and cozy. On the weekends I would HIGHly recommend a reservation because they do not have many seats. We went in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and put our names down for a resi. We walked around the neighborhood for 30 minutes then came back to be sat. On the weekends they do ask you to order food along with tea which is fair since the place is so small. The tea selection is intense- they have so many flavors to choose from. I ended up going with Patagonia berry. My bf and I sat at a table outside, enjoyed our tea, and read our books. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich. It was good but I think I want to try a dessert w tea the next time I stop in. You order at the counter and are then shown your seats. The service is quick and attentive. They also let you buy tea in bulk to take home!

quaint, cozy, great for intimate catch ups. the service is friendly & informative. to dine in, choose a tea for the pot per person quota, and a pastry/small bite pairing from the menu. i chose the [cocoa, cardamom, & cinnamon] blend iced with oat milk, delicious while not too sweet. for our small bite, i chose the blt which was ROCKING. lettuce, bacon, tomato jam on brioche, perfect tea time snackwich. add this to your must visit list if you're in west village.

TLDR: Great teas and found myself a new favorite reading spot! If you love tea, this place is for you. They have such a large selection of teas its a little overwhelming but you are able to sniff anything that intrigues you before you commit! I chose the white tea with rose and it was great. Each pot is about $10. There were also some pastries and tea cakes that were available to purchase. Got some raspberry madeleines and they were super moist and buttery. I'll probably get them every time. They don't allow laptops in the cafe, so keep that in mind, but you are welcome to read books! It can get noisy and the space is quite small so seating may be limited. Overall: can't wait to try another tea and read in this cute place!

Loved this find. We stopped by to get some tea and had such a fun time. We sat in the outdoor booth. Highly recommend, will definitely visit again.

If The Old Curiosity Shop and Tea Shop Of East Peking (I made the second one up) had a love child, it would be Paquita. A long narrow corridor of a shop, with outdoor seating. Yes, you can get tea here, and it will be served in a small, heavy, antique pot. As you see the pot and your delicate little cup, you will be transported to the Middle ages. And then the price will bring you right back to 2023. Other purveyors of fine tea have noted that a cup costs north of $10. Is Lapsang Souchong still calling thy name? Perhaps it is. If you yearn for a touch of the Olde Worlde look no further. Paquita awaits.

A magical spot giving Hogwarths vibes. Like Mcnulty's nearby this niche spot makes this nabe so special. They specialize in loose teas & have a nice selection. I loved the herbal tea I bought with minty and chocolate notes & it's snazzy packaging. A great spot for gifting & specialty teas & coffees in a delicious shop. A magical memorable shopping experience.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

They also have sooo many mochi drink combos on the menu. You can also add milk mochi as a topping for $0.95. I usually stick to chain boba spots, but Sweetea actually impressed me. The storefront is tiny and lowkey, but you can tell they put so much care into every drink using fresh ingredients, from homemade taro paste to real fruit purees. *Taro Mochi Cheese Foam $6.95 WOW the milk mochi was super stretchy, silky, and creamy. I was told they make the mochi fresh in-house every morning, and the taro is made from actual taro instead of powder. The mochi-to-taro ratio was literally perfect. *Mango Mochi Pop $6.95 I chose coconut milk for this one, and it tasted like mango sticky rice dessert. We walked into a space that stood out compared to many smaller bubble tea shops, with a much more comfortable setup and plenty of seating that made it a place where we could actually sit down and enjoy our drink instead of just grabbing it to go. The clean interior and modern décor gave it a relaxed café feel, and watching the staff prepare the boba added a layer of engagement to the experience. The brown sugar milk boba is the main highlight and the drink that best represents what the shop does well. We ordered one and found the brown sugar flavor rich and caramel-like without becoming overly sweet, and the fresh-made boba had a softer, chewier texture compared to many standard tapioca pearls. The drink had a good balance between the sweetness, milk, and tea flavors, which made it easy to enjoy even for those who normally prefer less sugary drinks. Beyond the signature brown sugar drinks, there were also a variety of fruit teas, milk teas, and specialty options. The oolong milk tea stood out because the tea flavor came through more clearly, while fruit-based options like lychee drinks offered a lighter and more refreshing choice. The ability to customize sweetness levels also made it easier to find a drink that matched our preference. The service was quick and the staff were friendly during our visit. Since the boba is made fresh in-house, watching the preparation process gave the shop a more unique feel compared to typical chain bubble tea spots. The larger seating area was also a nice advantage, especially if we wanted to meet up with friends or take a break while exploring Koreatown. The team moved through orders efficiently, and the drinks came out without much delay. Overall, Xing Fu Tang Ktown is a strong choice for anyone looking for high-quality boba in a comfortable setting. The fresh-made pearls, well-balanced drinks, and spacious café atmosphere make it stand out from many other bubble tea shops in the area. It is a spot we would return to when we want a drink that feels more thoughtfully prepared rather than just a quick sweet beverage.
