Tried this place on a whim because I saw a lot of people lined up and it looked good and I'm glad I went with the crowd for this one. I LOVE discovering a new coffee place. I got an iced banana split latte, and it was absolutely delicious! Was not excessively sweet- you could actually taste the coffee too, which is important to me! I also got this super yummy buttery croissant (don't remember the name) with pecorino romano cheese and mozzarella. It's set up like an open faced sandwich- which I liked and it made it easy to cut and eat with minimal mess- unlike when it's put together like a sandwich and those yummy flakes go EVERYWHERE- when you are dressed up, this makes a difference! I liked that you can stand outside and order or go inside. It's charming and has an old time sophistication inside. They also have a few outdoor seats. There was the slightest wait- so maybe bear that in mind if you are rushed and can't be patient- but a little wait for high quality food and drinks is well worth it! Those things take time. This place is so cute and tiny. You can order outside or go inside for an experience. I got the dolce vita size small. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess. I also got a chocolate croissant. They warmed it up and it was very yummy. I liked old Hollywood vibe in there with the photos on the wall. And they were playing French pop music. Service was good, everything felt casual and chill, nothing rushed. They even have doggie treats for your lil' flurry companion. They do have a bathroom downstairs. Okay so some drinks were SOOO yum. But other drinks were a bit average. Tiramisu latte- AMAZING, definitely on the sweeter side though. Barista was kind enough to make the tiramisu drink with matcha for me. The mascarpone cream was yum but the matcha taste was not really there, it was way better with coffee. There was a matcha pineapple drink which was quite refreshing. If you like pineapple, this is a great choice. The salted pollen coffee latte was VERY average. It was a bit too savory for my liking, and not too strong. We got our drinks from the little pick up window. Line moved quick but barista was slightly grouchy. Drinks all looked SOOOO cute though. It's a rainy day, and I'm out for a walk. Ended up at Fellini Coffee, all sidewalk tables are available. I sit down to finish a bagel I had on bought on the way. After 5 minutes, one of the employees came out and told me that I can't sit here (still all 4 tables are empty...and it's raining - I'm under a small awning) and sit here and eat anything not purchased here. Prices are on the higher side, but we kept it simple with a couple of iced lattes and a margherita pizza. The coffee was honestly amazing, definitely the highlight. The pizza was pretty good as well, though smaller than expected and a bit delicate to eat (the cheese slides off easily), so it's best enjoyed with a fork and knife. Went to Fellini as a birthday coffee stop for my wife and had a mixed experience. The lattes are very expensive, around $11 to $12 each, but we expected that from a popular, trendy spot. We ordered the pistachio latte and the tiramisu latte, and both were genuinely delicious and not overly sweet. The problem started when I realized I forgot to order my drink decaf. I cannot have caffeine, so we apologized and asked if it could be remade (please note the original latte was still full, I had taken maybe 2 sips before realizing). They brought out a decaf version, which we appreciated. I also told a staff member she could take the original drink since I would not be drinking it, but it was never removed from the table. When the bill came, we were charged for three lattes. I explained that one drink had been remade and the original was not consumed. The server said we had to pay for all three because it was "my fault." I understood it was my oversight, but charging for an untouched drink at these prices felt unreasonable & usually a courtesy remake is what happens in these situations. We asked to speak with the manager, who repeated the same points and said Fellini is not an average coffee shop and their drinks are more expensive to make. After some back and forth, he did remove the extra latte, but the interaction felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. I was a barista for many years and I have never charged a customer for a remake, even if it was "their fault." If a customer accidentally spilled their drink, I would not charge them because they knocked it over? It was just odd. It is disappointing because the drinks were very good. At this price point, I expect much better customer service. The experience left a bad impression and took away from what was meant to be a nice birthday outing. I would not return. read more

Enjoyed stopping by the charming coffee window at Fellini coffee on a cold winter morning. We got the tiramisu latte and the pistachio paradise drinks - we got these hot, given the weather, but I'm a hundred percent certain these would be soooo much more delish iced. This tiny triangle is the smallest coffee shop in NYC! It's only 16 square feet and barely fits 2 baristas inside. The barista we spoke to when we visited today said that it's really tight, but it's cool and they make it work.
