This place was so cozy during this cold winter. Loved the ambience!! A gentleman playing the piano, sign me up!! Dim enough to see, the wall of wine bottles was beautiful. We started out with few drinks, and this Italian restaurant made everything so delicious. We came as a big group and we tried a little of everything, shared plates. Everything was just perfect. Kudos to the chef!! I recommend the lemon chicken, salmon salad, and the lobster ravioli!! Also their Lobster Bisque was delicious, you'd be licking the plate delicious!

It is strongly advised to make reservations...which I did! Especially since we were celebrating As we entered we were greeted immediately and seated in the main dining room where the wine wall was a fantastic backdrop which brings romance to your dining experience. Our waitress arrived with a bright smile as she took our beverage order. We ordered appetizers while we continued to review the menu. The meat tray was plentiful and refreshing...the only thing we weren't really sure of was the honey, however ... After placing our dinner order we were still enjoying the meat tray. Our meals arrived and we were very pleased (except one who did not pay attention there were capers in the sauce). It is definitely is evident each meal / dish was prepared fresh and not one of those freezer meals quite a few restaurants are leaning toward these days. Definitely recommend this as a romantic dining experience - even though there is a "sports" bar in the back area. CasualSporty!

Wow!! What can I say about this adorable spot to truly convey our experience?! My friend recently moved to Westmont so I drove out from downtown for a girls' night dinner. Not knowing much about the area, I decided on Dolce. It was close to my friend's house and Yelp offered some insight via reviews and photos. We parked in front of this little storefront spot with big front windows. We walked into a charming eatery that was so warm, cozy and welcoming. A rustic brick wall flanked with an array of wine bottles and soft earth tones created the perfect backdrop for a delicious meal and some girl talk. Our server was nice and helpful. She saw us struggling to read the menu and brought over a lime green magnifying glass with a light on it. We laughed as our evening kicked of with some humor. My chopped salad was sooo good. It was fresh and crunchy. My friend started with the burrata and honey. She said it was the perfect blend of sweet & savory. My friend loved her scallop risotto and my halibut was fantastic. It was so interesting with seasoned potatoes and a red sauce. I loved it. We shared a lava cake that ended our meal nicely. For cocktails I had a Paloma and my friend tried the Allia Rose. Everything was perfection! Right as we were about leave, a huge rainstorm blew in. The wonderful restaurant Owner Stephen jumped into action. He grabbed umbrella and walked each of us out under cover to our car. Now that is hospitality at it's finest. Thank you Stephen for a lovely dining experience and the best customer service ever!!! See you soon!!!

Had our Salon Christmas Party there last night! Steve took care of everything! They have a patio they enclosed with heaters, he hired a Dj, desserts and the food was so amazing! 30 people and still room to dance! So fun!

We had a LE ORME Barbera wine and that was an excellent compliment to our meal.

First time for us in their new space. There is a similarity in their decorating which is good! They brought over the feel of the old place to their new place. That's terrific! I meant to walk through the restaurant to see the entire place but didn't this time. We were there on a Friday night. They turned away a couple of groups of people while we were there that didn't have a reservation. So, they are busy and doing well. I had the special which was a cheese manicotti. It was delicious! The garlic sauce was not overpowering. We had a LE ORME Barbera wine and that was an excellent compliment to our meal. We very much enjoyed that wine. We are very happy that Dolcé has been able to stay in Westmont and that they have been able to reopen as quickly as they did! It remains one of our favorite restaurants!

On the list of live music on a Friday, from WDCB. Thought I'd get a quick meal, and listen to Jim Holman. I had the lamb chops and they were cooked perfect. Nice intimate setting. Great service too.

Chicken Parmesan and Pappardelle with Short Rib

Ordered for take out. We had the chicken Parmesan and the short rib pasta. The short rib pasta has too much of a dark flavor profile for me. It was cooked perfectly, I just personally didn't enjoy the flavors. My husband had the chicken Parmesan. We felt it was just average, nothing special. The chicken wasn't very flavorful. Portion sizes were good and it was packed nicely.

We really enjoyed our food here! Definitely make a reservation as it fills up fast. We enjoyed their signature crafted cocktails based on local businesses. We really liked our pasta, but we will probably pass on the burrata and chocolate cake next time. We look forward to trying the other menu items next time!

The indoor space is long and narrow, with an eclectic, warm vibe, lined with display bottle and can-filled shelving. There are several tables along the display wall that seat four comfortably, with a compact bar tucked toward the front. Don't come here looking for a quiet corner though. The place fills up quickly--especially Thursday through Saturday nights during sidewalk‑dining weather where the crowd spills out into the covered entry and sidewalk. The clientele skews upscale and once they settle in, tables tend to turn slowly. Also, the noise level often rises to the point where conversation requires a raised voice. Wine and appetizers are this place's wheelhouse. I agree with other reviewers that service can lag, especially when you're trying to get that first order in. The charcuterie is a reliable favorite, with the rest of the menu at least decent if not particularly memorable. The wine and beer offerings are broad enough to satisfy most tastes, though some reviewers' claims of "reasonable prices" depend heavily on your definition of reasonable--lingering over drinks and appetizers will leave a very noticeable dent in the ole' wallet. Though I don't feel It's the kind of place I'll likely make a weekly habit, it is a good starter spot for a date night or a meet‑up before moving on to a dinner place.

I first hit the grocery store and then went to have the sandwich at The Cube. I have dined in the Grill and had lovely experience both time but this was first time to The Cube. Disappointed is an understatement. I walked in with another random person and there was no-one else there. I asked about lobster sandwich and was told in whiny voice "Yes, we serve it". It took a full 5 min to receive a menu and another 15 to take order for drink and sandwich. Seriously?! There were 2 people in the whole place. Then I saw the staff of 3 get out the plate of chips and slaw. This sat for another 10 min without action. One of them finally scooped out lobster salad into container and carefully re-tape the plastic wrap around container for minutes/hours. I couldn't even watch at this point. Finally after 20-25 min the sandwich, chips and slaw appeared. While I ate, a worker scrubbed the tile floor behind the bar I sat at with vigor. Why? Why during my lunch was it a good time to heartily scrub one section of tile. Oh the food! Meh. The slaw was soooo garlicky. The lobster salad was tiny chunks with lots of celery and onions. The potato chips"? Were they potato chips or battered potato thins. GROSS! The whole experience was subpar and ridiculously long. They could have served 12 people in the time it took for 2. I had picked up the same sandwich at grocery store with slaw and chips which were completely different and much better. Do yourself a favor, pick it up from cooler and leave the goofball, subpar service to the superbly subpar staff at The Cube. No

The space is beautiful, though the tables are... let's just say neighborly. Great if you enjoy bonding with strangers, less great if you like a little elbow room. The menu is interesting and inviting. We started with the parmesan artichokes. Crunchy and satisfying, with nice pieces throughout, but a bit shy on flavor. It felt like it almost got to the party but stopped just outside the door. For mains, everyone genuinely enjoyed their dishes. I had the gnocchi della casa with porcini ragù. The gnocchi were soft, light, and pillowy, though just a touch dense and missing that subtle potato flavor that makes you close your eyes for a second. Not quite at the level of my mom's or grandma's (but let's be honest, nothing ever is). The mushroom sauce was tasty, though it leaned slightly vinegary. The pistachio-crusted whitefish was a standout. Perfectly crisp on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. Definitely a win. The risotto of the day was creamy and comforting, but it felt like it was missing that little spark, that "something" that takes it from good to memorable. Drinks were a highlight. The Sicilian Negroni and Fields of Tuscany were both well-crafted and delicious. No notes there. For the price, it's a solid spot and worth experiencing at least once. Come for the energy, stay for the drinks, and maybe bring your best "I don't mind sitting close" attitude.

We started with some lobster bisque and a lump crab cake appetizer. The bisque was sublime. The crab cake was mostly crab and paired with a delicious mustard sauce. My only complaint was that I wanted more. Having recently experienced a subpar upscale chain restaurant steak dinner at another restaurant, I was gun shy to order a steak, but was rewarded with one of the most tender and tasty cuts of beef in the Chicago suburbs. The literal topper was the red wine reduction...so good! My companion ordered (and shared!) the grilled scallops. A generous serving of tender, succulent scallops on a bed of delicious risotto. The combo made a great surf and turf experience. Desserts at these types of restaurants can be so overwhelming that even the thought of sharing seems like too much. But here, we had perfectly sized portions and a wonderful selection of treats to cap a great meal. We each ordered a different treat and it was the perfect amount. We sat in the bar and had a great server named Shawn. Shawn was engaging and provided great service. I'll definitely request him next time I visit. I wasn't drinking that night, but hubby solo'd it with a bourbon cocktail called a Paper Plane. He said it was very tasty, especially on the hot day. We shared the ahi tuna tartare to start. The tartare was a stack of tuna with tropical salsa and avocado. So fresh. It came with a basket of crispy lavish bread, I hope when the restaurant switches their recipe that they will continue making a seedless lavish for those who can't do nuts or seeds. Hubby had the wood grilled tenderloin salad for dinner. I had to get a taste of that tenderloin because it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty and seasoned well. I had the wood grilled Idaho rainbow trout, swapping out the asparagus for carrots. The trout came with a dill mustard sauce which I nixed and just squeezed fresh lemon on the fish. The fish was moist and smoky. Of course, we had to get the little dessert shooters to end the meal. Hubby had the Belgian chocolate s'mores, which was ridiculously decadent. I had the more conservative raspberry cannoli dessert. These tiny sweet treats are delicious mini indulgences. I love them because you want something a little sweet at the end of a meal but don't want a huge dessert. I think they're perfect. I like Seasons 52 because every item on the menu has the calories listed. Their food is always very good and the service is top-notch. When I ordered the tuna appetizer, a manager came over right away and asked me about a seed allergy because they noticed I said no nuts and seeds on my reservation. They really pay attention to their customers needs. I highly recommend Seasons 52. Ask for Shawn!
