Celebrated a birthday here and they were amazing in making the dinner special. The food was great and perfectly portioned. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and surprised us with a birthday dessert. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!

We went to DeNucci's for my husband's birthday, and we were impressed with the whole experience. It was already packed at 5:15, but staff did a great job keeping pace to turn tables. Service was excellent and attentive, and the food was all incredible. We especially loved the pizza, and my kiddos enjoyed the buttered noodles and chicken strips. What's more, everyone acknowledged my husband's birthday (that I had put in the notes) and brought him gelato to celebrate. We will absolutely be coming back again - everything was fantastic!

Third time here and have enjoyed myself every time! I celebrated my birthday here and the staff made sure my dinner was special. I had an Aperol Spritz which was made very well. My mom had the limoncello spritz and enjoyed that. We ordered the pesto pomodorini pizza, lumache alla vodka with crumbled sausage, rigatoni carbonara, and the lobster risotto which was the special on Saturday. The carbonara has meat in it which tastes great. For dessert we had the tiramisu which is a must try!

Food is fresh and delicious. Monday has the best pizza special. The tavern style, crispy cracker thin. Sausage- giardiniera is the way to go. I enjoyed the tiramisu and the sundae. Pasta lemone was bright and delicious. I really enjoyed the broiled chicken dish, too. They have a very nice Italian wine selection especially, by bottles. There are 2 floors and no elevators. Free valet is a nice touch.

My husband and I have ordered take out from here more than I would like to admit. Every time we switch up the meals so we can try the whole menu. We can't say enough good things about it, hence why we keep coming back! Truly haven't had a bad meal yet, and we are almost through the whole menu. The salads, pizzas, pastas, apps - all so good!!!! The meatballs remind me of my grandpas, the pizza is now in my top fav for the western burbs, pastas have all been great. It's super nice inside! Happy they are out here in the burbs now.

Food was good but service was not. Everything I ordered came out wrong and the server didn't care that it did.

Food was decent, not amazing. The noise level on the second level is too much. It was too loud to speak to others at my table.

Food and service was great. Only thing lacking was table bread. Unusual to have an Italian restaurant of this quality without table bread.

Second time having pizza from here. It was excellent! Now my favorite pizza whenever I visit my family in Hinsdale.

Smells amazing the whole time. Staff was great. Sean helped us out and gave some solid recommendations. We went with the pepperonly pizza. When it hit the table, the presentation looked amazing. First bite... that was it. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside but still soft inside. You could taste that wood-fired char, just enough to give it that smoky edge. The cheese was melted just right, stretchy and hot. The sauce had a nice balance, a little tangy, a little sweet, not overpowering anything. The pepperoni was the best part. Crispy on the edges, a little oily in a good way, and full of flavor. Every bite just worked. Thin, balanced, nothing too heavy. If you like pizza, this is one of those spots you gotta try. I'd go back for that one easy.

We stopped by Wooden Paddle in La Grange and ordered the "Just Send It" platter to share, the Snap…read moreInto It salad, and the Buzzkill pizza. The food was really good! Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and we enjoyed what we ordered. The Buzzkill pizza was delicious, and the appetizer platter was a great option for the table. Unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. It took about 10 minutes before anyone came over to seat us, another 10-15 minutes before someone took our order, and when our Snap Into It salad arrived (for a party of three), it only came with two pieces of bread, so we had to ask for a third. At the end of the meal, we waited around 20 minutes just to get our check. The surprising part was that the restaurant wasn't busy at all, so the slow service was hard to understand. The food was definitely the highlight, but because of the overall service experience, I don't think I'd return.

The sausage was definitely the fan favorite for the kids. I have to say the pizza crust was really enjoyable, crispy throughout and not too paper thin and robust enough to hold all toppings. As far as service, it's best to call in ahead to put in your order, as I've heard they only pump out 100 or so pizzas per day and seem to be in high demand. For example, we called in on a weekday at 4:45pm and pick up wouldn't be until 6:35pm. So roughly, two hour wait which was on par with what I've read about. The shop itself is very small. Only two tables and the rest of the space is dedicated to the kitchen and pizza oven. I'd recommend taking to go as inside runs hot from the big ol' oven. All in all, really great quality tavern style. Worth a try if you can time the order with when you want to eat. =P 'Til next time, cheers!
