This is a small venue to check out bands. They only take cash here, but there is an ATM inside. The restrooms are small, but clean. They didn't serve food as far as I could tell, but it a cool spot. I would recommend this place if you checking out and band or if your looking for a space to play. It stared as a punk venue I believe. It's has a punk vibe. P

Such a cool place to see a show. If you like Punk and Rock-a-Billy this is the place to go in the OC.

I came here for a NAMM after party show. It had three stages, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor. The indoor stage looks really nice with stickers of metal bands. The sound was ok; couldn't hear the vocalist really well. Not really liking the restrooms- they were kind of crowded and not well stocked. They did have a cool taco stand there for the event. Not sure if they always have outside vendors come in. They seem to have a well stocked bar- that takes cash only. There is also street parking. Great metal venue!

It's quite unfair for me to rate this place, because it is a rock show venue and I stopped in purely to check it out during the set up period before the Sunday night shows. Somewhere in the back of my mind I was hoping there would be tap beer and a cool vibe. Instead there was cooler beer and no vibe- it was empty, almost eerie... The people were very nice, there was a bar tender lady with blond hair and a sound guy with long hair. Disclaimer: I'm super boring and don't love music or at least loud music shows...

This place rocks cool people cool music a great Hideaway to get drunk and have a good time awesome place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon and watch local bands perform... Hell yea OC oldest Punk Rock club is back in action! Re-opened 1-3-14! Cheap beer! Loud Music Fun Times! I got a call from my old pal Russel, who said that the Doll Hut was reopening and was gonna have some cool bands playing and told me I should go. I thought why the fuck, not I wasn't doing anything anyway and if I got loaded I could walk and stumble home 'cuz its kinda close, but this was a new chapter id the DH books. I've seen a lot of great bands here and a lot of not so great bands here too. Punk, metal, rockabilly, surf, you name it. Many bands cut their teeth here at the Doll Hut and some like Social Distortion and the Offspring sometimes returned after they had made it big to play surprise performances. Many consider the Doll Hut to be the CBGB's of the west coast. Can't think of a place more deserving. Besides CBGB's is still closed I think. The Doll Hut is the Webster's poster child for hole in the wall dive bar. Its tiny 2 car garage sized interior is held together duct tape and bubblegum. Its gritty and raw this is what an intimate performance is all about. Even the bathrooms at this place are punk. http://www.yelp.com/biz_... The Doll Hut is an Anaheim Icon. Built in the 1920's as a private residence, the Doll Hut became a truck stop cafe in 1936, a bar in the 1950's and a music venue when bought by Linda Jemison in the 1989. And when Linda's Doll Hut closed its doors in the summer of 2001, it was thought to be the end of an era. Luckily a couple who met at Linda's took over the space and reopened it that fall. It continued to feature live bands, often sold-out crowds and even occasional Sunday barbecues. Cheap covers, great music and cheap ass beer made this a special place. The stories the walls could tell! I'll be back!

I only have been couple of times here and every time I ask myself why I don't come here more often.. Go figure! The Doll Hut is quite small but nice, the place is unpretentious and energetic. Seems like many customers know each other and are regulars from the bar. They have different nights according to the bands that play, all I have seen are quite good: Rockabilly, Metal and Punk. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/robvIID1NxKrUfH656mYTw?select=N3qanIwOENF_g32NbbRS3w#N3qanIwOENF_g32NbbRS3w Parking is not so great but quite acceptable. If you like to show off, if you are trying to impress or if you want the club cool scene, do you (and us a favor) Don't go! If you want to hear good music, without having to dress up and pay the ridiculous prices of other up scaled places: check the calendar of the Doll Hut, choose the night you want to go and you won't be disappointed! A plus the walls here have memory, seems like most of its patrons have left their mark http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/robvIID1NxKrUfH656mYTw?select=N3qanIwOENF_g32NbbRS3w#0Jm6UW-rCfRRpUSCmjzmqw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/robvIID1NxKrUfH656mYTw?select=FQIWwBB30x0tWjNnfs6K6w#FQIWwBB30x0tWjNnfs6K6w

The best part of Strong Water is the immersive experience you feel sitting inside. We sat in the Captain's quarters which was an intimate spot for great conversation. Our waiter was very friendly and gave plenty of options. We opted for the Crispy Tuna Appetizer which unfortunately was not good at all. The tuna and toppings were okay but the crispy rice tasted like fried fair food almost with the texture of a rice cake. Hopefully, their other dishes are better. For drinks, the waiter helped select the Banana Batida for me which was very lovely! I love how customized the recommendations were. My partner ordered a rum drink which he enjoyed as well. We finished off with a brownie dessert. I really enjoyed the passion fruit puree and kiwi topping. The brownie tasted good but was very dense which isn't my preference. Overall, would recommend. Prioritize the drinks over the food in my opinion

Not sure if reservations are required, but this speakeasy is pretty tiny so I can't imagine it can accommodate walk ins. We had a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night. I had the niña fresa, a strawberries and creme type drink. Delicious! If you like sweet drinks, otherwise do not get it. I had the Saturn afterwards. Still a little sweet, but mostly sour. The server came by to say that we only had 25 min left, so we hurriedly ordered a last drink. But when he delivered it, it magically became 5 min! I chugged my drink and was ushered out the door. Overall it was pretty nice but I didn't enjoy having to rush at the very end.

Down the Rabbit Hole at STORY -- Anaheim Hills…read more If you've ever wanted to fall straight into Wonderland, STORY in Anaheim Hills is your rabbit hole. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish. STORY is more than a meal; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating, planning a girls' day, or just want to escape into something beautiful, put on your favorite hat and come play. We'll absolutely be back.

(The Anaheim packing district has private parking and it's easy to find a spot during the week. On the weekend, it's another story) You basically run right into the hammer bar when you enter from the main entrance. It's nothing fancy, gives off hipster vibes and is cool without trying to be cool. The two bartenders Josh and Xavier were amazing I came here around prime lunch time. I went and asked one of the bartenders, since they do not serve food if it was ok to bring some pastries inside and eat them with my drink. (There's a pastry place right next to the hammer bar) They said since it was a weekday and not busy I could bring something in. So I went and grabbed some food and sat there while drinking my drinks. They have bar seating and then they have hightop tables as well I asked them for some recommendations. Josh and Xavier both recommended The zombie (kept warning me that it was extremely strong. So I stayed away from that. Even though I'm confident I could handle it) The banana clip The pool noodle (I told them I needed it to be pretty / cool looking too, lol) I went with the pool noodle -Plantaray Pineapple Rum, Rhum J.M. Agricole, guava, apricot, lime and cava. AND, let me tell you, this was delicious AND looked amazing 10/10 Then I went with the banana clip- Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon, banana, mandarine, cinnamon, pineapple and lemon. 10/10, I loved it To be honest all the drinks sounded great. If I wasn't planning on going to other places and walking around the packing district, I would have just stayed at this bar and had a few more lol. Prices were extremely reasonable as well The service that Josh and Xavier provided was phenomenal 10/10. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all the questions I had They also have mocktails, beer and wine. I highly recommend coming here for a drink if you are coming to the Anaheim Packing district. Or stay here for a while. I could have definitely stayed longer and tried more. I'll definitely be back next time I am in the area (On the menu it says they offer gift cards. So it would be perfect for any friends that live by this place and appreciate a cool bar)
