Arguably my best Dollar Car Rental experience across the states. I love the fact that all car rentals, regardless of stature, are shuttled off Sea-Tac airport. And to my surprise, the line at Dollar is non-existent which made checking in a breeze. Another plus is that we had a Toyota RAV4 as our mid-size suv. IMO, the best midsize suv for us to rent. It is quite spacious, clean, and sips little gas. We had our rental for 5 days and everything went well. Returning the car was just as fast; with clearly labeled signs directing you back to the rental. Overall we had a seamless and good experience with Dollar Car Rental at Sea-Tac and would not hesitate to rent with them when coming back to Seattle to visit.

Between missed flights and long delays we were struggling as is, only to find out our reservation was cancelled with a different company! Dollar Car Rental came through for us and thanks to the kindest representative ever, Tiffany B., our vacation was finally able to begin on a positive note! I normally would not have booked through them but they have officially won over a new customer for life! Thanks Tiffany!

Does it say $500 extra for WA state drivers???

WA driver's license holders, beware. I had to do this review because 1. The Filipino guy on the 1st floor was very rude 2. WA state drivers get charged an EXTRA $500 ??? Huh So before I booked this car I made sure to check their policy which I did! I ALWAYS CHECK THE POLICY TO AVOID CONFLICTS LIKE THIS!!! Nowhere and I mean nowhere did it say on the policy that WA state license holders will get charged an extra $500. I booked the car through Expedia but regardless nowhere on the website does it say WA holders get charged the extra $500. So because of this the ride Filipino guy with the glasses, treated us as if we were stupid and talked down to us. Regardless if it's ALWAYS been your policy, update your website then. I reported this company and location to Expedia as there was nowhere on the website or even on my confirmation where it said as a WA state license holder, you get charged the extra $500. I even went back upstairs to the main desk and ask them to show me the policy which they also COULD NOT do. I handed him my phone and showed him that it wasn't there. Mind you they were trying to look for it but couldn't even find it. Smh.

I got a good rate renting a car here!! When I came here, there was no line and I got my car very quickly. I was really just trying to get a car that was good on gas and that Toyota they gave me was a super saver!!! It was new and clean, ready to go!! I had zero issues here and everything was quick and easy. So when in Sea-Tac, come here, definitely recommended!!

Love that they have toyota. Reliability is 100%

But the staff team that works the SeaTac venue was truly seamless. It was Gabe who first assisted me to confirm my paperwork and I think that took less than 10 minutes because I've been able to make the reservation by phone. I want to be really clear that I talked to a human to make the reservation and that made all the difference for me. The online version of it was inefficient and didn't allow me to ask questions and get clarification that I needed so I hope Enterprise continues to allow customers to talk to human Customer Service representatives because not all questions can be answered online. Then I was sent to the next area which involved some trepidation because it was a vast area of garage space but immediately Natalie who was part of Enterprise approached me and took my tentativeness and turned it into confidence. She walked me past several areas and made sure that I was put into a vehicle that suited my concerns. And instead of feeling limited by my selection upstairs I felt I was actually given some options in which car I could land in. That made a tremendous difference. Her welcome was genuine and she was very helpful. So between Gabe and Natalie I had a great car pick up experience. And then I'd like to mention Christian who helped me get out of my car when I returned it 24 hours later. He helped me figure out why I would not get a day return back Despite returning at 12 hours earlier, and he was friendly and very positive about his work. I think he was celebrating a work anniversary actually but I don't remember which one it was. Regardless kudos to Enterprise for having such great staff work with us to make a car pick up and car returns simple and seamless. My only issue now is that I left some keys in the car and I would love to figure out how to get a hold of them. I did email Enterprise but have not heard back. I wonder if there is a more direct route to figuring out Lost and found items?

I've used several different companies before but Enterprise generally has a pretty good rate. My last experience with Enterprise was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. At first, it was nice that they offered the choice of a car to me, and provided some full-size sedan options at no cost for an upgrade. I took a Nissan Altima. As soon as I pulled out of the registration, warnings started going off on my dashboard about low tire pressure. I checked the tire pressure and noticed it was enough to make it to my destination so I didn't pay it any mind. The destination I went to had no service stations nearby, so I e-mailed into Enterprise to ask about the issue. They said I could return the car or pull into a Firestone. It took a few days for me to get to the Firestone but once I did, the technicians took a look and found a deeply embedded nail into the tire that was slowly leaking air. I had attributed the tire pressure fluctuation to the cold weather. They filled the tire back up enough to where I would make it back to the airport. I reported the issue immediately via e-mail and to the manager on site. I'm leaving a 3-star instead of a 1-star because previous experiences have been fine, but this last one was straight up dangerous. Inspect your cars well before taking them out.

I want to praise the efforts by Brenton and Sean (manager) for exceptional service and working to…read moreensure my 2nd ever car rental experience was not only successful but pleasant and exceeding all my expectations...in order to take my child to the State Fair. Brenton picked me up right on time (GREAT customer service!) and he was polite and professional. He knew I was tight on my budget and did his best to answer all of my questions to select the coverage I desired, while not paying a penny more! I had reserved an Intermediate and received a compact but Sean and Brenton made up for it so I could save money. Brenton and Sean were patient with me even beyond closing on Sunday! Sean clearly knows and represents Enterprise exceptionally well, and took extra steps to make payments smooth for future rentals. Brenton and Sean alerted me of the weekend special which is so perfect for my family since we are car-less at this time. I plan to use it most weekends to enjoy life with my child and to be able to do more errands quickly. Please know these 2 staff members are why I will return and way more than I expected to. They should be commended for their excellent customer service!

I like the app and website for Enterprise. I've rented multiple times from Enterprise. I'm a part of their Enterprise Plus loyalty program. I've always found Enterprise to be a convenient, painless experience. On this occasion. I've never had to wait so long for a rental vehicle with so few people in line. And the vehicle was dirty inside and out. I had to ask them to clean it again before I left. REALLY DIRTY. I made my reservation on the website for a Saturday , 4/25, 9 a.m. pickup. Easy peasy so it seemed. I actually got a call the day before from a rental agent who said they might be short on vehicles if someone doesn't return on time, but they would pickup up a vehicle from one of their dealers if necessary, and 10 a.m. would be the time I'd be out of there if that was the case. She asked if I wanted to show up later just in case that happened. I said I'd show up at the original time in case all the returns were on time. I appreciated the call and heads up. I try to be flexible and roll with things. When I arrived on Saturday morning, before they opened their doors, I was optimistic because I saw a vehicle from a distance matching what I reserved in the lot. Still dripping from being washed. Confidence was high. When they opened their doors there were I think 3 customers in line ahead of me (not including spouses, etc..). At least one of the people in front of me was a walk-in. No reservation. They took forever, and weren't picking up a vehicle until later in the day from what I gathered . Great. There was only one rental agent to start with. And another one showed maybe a half hour later. We were going nowhere fast. At one point the agent announced she was checking everyone in first. And then people would get their cars. Understaffed, she said. That's a TERRIBLE system. If you can call that a system. Another customer was on some deadline pressure to return a loaner vehicle at the dealer and they weren't going to make it. When they got to me, I did the walk around with the 2nd agent and the car seemed pretty dirty on the outside once I got closer, although you could see water droplets from being washed. I mentioned this to the agent, and she said, yeah, the previous renter probably went out to the woods or something. We finished the checkout process and she went on to the next customer. Before I left, I wanted to make sure I understood how to fold down and stow the seats, that's why I rented this particular vehicle. Supposed to be effortless. When I opened the compartments to stow the seats it was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. Food, crayons, garbage. I was going to put my bag in one of those compartments. Even before I opened the compartments there were wrappers and crumbs visible still under and behind seats. I was 100% grossed out (see my photos if you want to be horrified too) . I didn't want to get blamed for the mess and dirty vehicle. And I shouldn't be paying to rent a dirty vehicle. I waited until the rental agent was done with another customer and I told her I needed the vehicle cleaned again. To their credit they took it back and took another crack at it. It took another 10 minutes maybe? They apologized again for being understaffed (only one detailer and he did his best but their vacuum isn't good for detailing. That sounds problematic to me.) Anyway between standing in line, having the vehicle cleaned again, adjusting the mirrors, etc.. I didn't get on the road until about 10:15 a.m.. It shouldn't take that long to pickup a rental vehicle when pickup time was 9 a.m. I'm still a loyal customer. I'll continue to rent from Enterprise, but customers shouldn't be standing around waiting for that long or receive vehicles this dirty. If you choose to rent from this location, be prepared to wait and hour or more before you get on the road. I suggest taking care of people who made online reservations first. Especially if they did the online check-in process already and are Enterprise Plus members. If staffing is the underlying issue, please hire more people. If training is an issue, please do more training. And please buy a better vacuum. And charge the customer that rented this vehicle before me $10,000 for trashing it.

Budget Rental Car turned what should have been a simple vehicle return into a two-hour ordeal that…read moreconsumed a significant portion of my vacation. I was informed that returning the vehicle downtown would result in an unexpected additional charge of approximately $200. Despite attempting to resolve the issue through customer service, I spent nearly two hours being transferred, waiting on hold, and receiving conflicting information. During that time, I was unable to enjoy the activities I had planned for my trip. The most frustrating part was not the fee itself--it was the complete lack of ownership, consistency, and customer service. Every representative seemed to provide different information, and no one appeared empowered to solve the problem. Vacation time is valuable. I can earn back money; I cannot get back two hours of a once-a-year trip. A company that depends on travelers should understand that. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone renting from Budget obtain written confirmation of every aspect of their reservation and return arrangements. Had I known how difficult this would be, I would have chosen a different rental company. This was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have had in years.

They wanted $900 to use a credit card so I could get the rental without proof of ticketed return (An extra $348 than what was originally explained on the app and over the phone) I went to multiple rental desks stressed and running out of options... then I met Kesh at Hertz. She listened, understood, and immediately looked for a solution instead of a reason to say "no." From the start, she was SUPER patient, understanding, and kind. She took the time to listen to my situation without making me feel like I was a burden. She made the process SO smooth, stress-free, and even pleasant -- which is not something you can usually say about renting a car at an airport when you're states away from home. Kesh didn't just do her job-- she LEGIT saved my trip. If Hertz hasn't promoted and/or given her a raise yet, they need to. She's the kind of person you want representing your company/ brand: calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and compassionate toward customers. (ESPECIALLY AT AIRPORT LOCATIONS) Thank you again Kesh -- I wish I could tell you in person and give you THE biggest hug (from me and my mom) . My instructions were to check in at the desk, but the deck attendant informed me gold status just goes straight to the garage and gave me my parking spot number- which I had to triple check the board in the garage because my car wasn't a minivan, it was a BMW car! That's one heck of an upgrade. And lets be honest- I'll never buy a BMW and this was probably my one and only shot at driving one, so we crammed 3 large suitcases and 2 carry ons into the car and we were off. I told the gate attendant that I was supposed to get a minivan and he asked me - do you really want a minivan over this sportcar??? Bwahahaaaa Car drove nice, has heated seats- but I missed my heated steering wheel. My daughter teased me that I liked my SUV better than the beemer. Oh well. I had fun driving it, My son moved 2 hours north of Seattle and all the driving I did over the week, I still returned the car with 1/3 tank of gas- perk of gold status, you don't have to fill it up before returning it. Returning is even easier- follow the signs, pull into the line of cars being returned, grab your gear and head to the airport shuttle stop. I do enjoy renting through Hertz- I've had some horror story rentals with other companies, so I appreciate the ease that Hertz provides.
