I had a great experience at this location. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything I needed to know. It's hard for me to leave a negative review when the people here are super friendly and work hard. It's taken me weeks to post this because I don't want to penalize the employees if staffing decisions at a higher level are to blame. I like the app and website for Enterprise. I've rented multiple times from Enterprise. I'm a part of their Enterprise Plus loyalty program. I've always found Enterprise to be a convenient, painless experience. On this occasion. I've never had to wait so long for a rental vehicle with so few people in line. And the vehicle was dirty inside and out. I had to ask them to clean it again before I left. REALLY DIRTY. I made my reservation on the website for a Saturday , 4/25, 9 a.m. pickup. Easy peasy so it seemed. I actually got a call the day before from a rental agent who said they might be short on vehicles if someone doesn't return on time, but they would pickup up a vehicle from one of their dealers if necessary, and 10 a.m. would be the time I'd be out of there if that was the case. She asked if I wanted to show up later just in case that happened. I said I'd show up at the original time in case all the returns were on time. I appreciated the call and heads up. I try to be flexible and roll with things. When I arrived on Saturday morning, before they opened their doors, I was optimistic because I saw a vehicle from a distance matching what I reserved in the lot. Still dripping from being washed. Confidence was high. When they opened their doors there were I think 3 customers in line ahead of me (not including spouses, etc..). At least one of the people in front of me was a walk-in. No reservation. They took forever, and weren't picking up a vehicle until later in the day from what I gathered . Great. There was only one rental agent to start with. And another one showed maybe a half hour later. We were going nowhere fast. At one point the agent announced she was checking everyone in first. And then people would get their cars. Understaffed, she said. That's a TERRIBLE system. If you can call that a system. Another customer was on some deadline pressure to return a loaner vehicle at the dealer and they weren't going to make it. When they got to me, I did the walk around with the 2nd agent and the car seemed pretty dirty on the outside once I got closer, although you could see water droplets from being washed. I mentioned this to the agent, and she said, yeah, the previous renter probably went out to the woods or something. We finished the checkout process and she went on to the next customer. Before I left, I wanted to make sure I understood how to fold down and stow the seats, that's why I rented this particular vehicle. Supposed to be effortless. When I opened the compartments to stow the seats it was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. Food, crayons, garbage. I was going to put my bag in one of those compartments. Even before I opened the compartments there were wrappers and crumbs visible still under and behind seats. I was 100% grossed out (see my photos if you want to be horrified too) . I didn't want to get blamed for the mess and dirty vehicle. And I shouldn't be paying to rent a dirty vehicle. I waited until the rental agent was done with another customer and I told her I needed the vehicle cleaned again. To their credit they took it back and took another crack at it. It took another 10 minutes maybe? They apologized again for being understaffed (only one detailer and he did his best but their vacuum isn't good for detailing. That sounds problematic to me.) Anyway between standing in line, having the vehicle cleaned again, adjusting the mirrors, etc.. I didn't get on the road until about 10:15 a.m.. It shouldn't take that long to pickup a rental vehicle when pickup time was 9 a.m. I'm still a loyal customer. I'll continue to rent from Enterprise, but customers shouldn't be standing around waiting for that long or receive vehicles this dirty. If you choose to rent from this location, be prepared to wait and hour or more before you get on the road. I suggest taking care of people who made online reservations first. Especially if they did the online check-in process already and are Enterprise Plus members. If staffing is the underlying issue, please hire more people. If training is an issue, please do more training. And please buy a better vacuum. And charge the customer that rented this vehicle before me $10,000 for trashing it. read more

Here was my rental itinerary at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Renton. Picked up: Monday 4/28/25, 2:43pm. Returned: Friday 5/2/25, 1:41pm. I used the car for only 4 days, but I was charged 5 days. I called Enterprise, but they sent me around, and at the end, they gave me a BS & ridiculous explanation. They said that because my reservation was made by the insurance company, they must charge me 5 days (instead of 4). In summary: Do not trust this company and check your charges. Or better yet, avoid them altogether, so you don't have to worry about mischarges. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with how Enterprise handled my recent rental. I had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital, so someone I trust returned the car for me. Instead of showing any understanding or basic human decency, Enterprise decided to put me on their Do Not Rent (DNR) list. There was no damage to the car and nothing wrong with the return--just the fact that I wasn't the one who brought it back due to being hospitalized. I reached out to try and resolve the situation, but was met with unprofessionalism, poor communication, and zero accountability. The area manager, Justin Ramos, promised to follow up with me--and then never did. I was left in the dark, with no answers and no resolution. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening. When I asked Justin over the phone in April 2025 why I never received a follow up or an apology from back in November 2024 his response was "I don't know what happened and apology for what" and then said "I'm sorry you feel that way". Enterprise used to be a company I trusted, but after this, I will never recommend them. This is not how you treat customers--especially when they're going through a crisis. read more

I write very few reviews, however I felt I needed to share our experience. My son and I arrived at the Enterprise location on Grady Way this morning and unfortunately witnessed the Manager Ray being berated by a customer that clearly was looking to cause a scene. This manager represented Enterprise on such a high level. He did his best to de-escalate the situation while remaining calm and professional. Unfortunately after several interactions with a fairly new assistant manager, I can honestly say I have never been treated so badly with such poor customer service! If by any small chance I need to use Enterprise ever again I will inconvenience myself by going to any other location than this one. Quick recap my rental has been extended throughout the past 3 almost 4 weeks on a daily basis. My car now needs a new engine and now being submitted for the warranty approval. During this time I've suffered tremendously with an ongoing illness and been to the ER twice while I've had this rental. Mind you I've paid EVERY step of the way and called in multiple times to share what caused my delay ( 1-2 days max) of updating agreement. I've extended it online and because of the late hours called the customer service line to have them update or add notes , whatever they were able to do. This "Kate" has harassed me, been extremely condescending and downright RUDE every interaction we have had. I have been treated like a criminal and only this gal seems to believe I'm going to run off and steal this Altima!!! The times I was at the ER ( UNPLANNED ER trips) and unable to contact her she left rude VM and sent too many emails!!! Mind you the longest I've been behind is 2 days and that was only because this mad woman froze my ability to update in the app!!! I seriously can't even see how she transferred from the east coast so aggressively. No other employee has EVER TREATED me like this power hungry gem ! Very very short tempered , very arrogant and truly UNHELPFUL! Never offered me the weekly or monthly service even though she was monitoring my account like a hungry hawk in the sky - clearly she could see the delays I was experiencing not ever offered any support at any point! I am the first to appreciate awesome customer service but also have little tolerance for ones like this . ******* I want to apologize for my harsh words for Kate****** Again I have been very sick and may have held her accountable for calls she didn't make. This Enterprise Car Rental location is the BEST! I was a team lead in parts delivery at Renton Boeing and I can say from my own experience I can appreciate a well managed site and crew. Ray Siderius (Mgr) and crew members Danny Mangiefico, Kendra Moore, and other crew members all are positive people with good customer handling abilities making sure most customers leave with a smile. In this divisive world we live in now there will always be someone that's negative but even those people are taken care of as best as I'm sure Enterprise policy allows. I have been a costumer for quite some time and normally never had problems renting with enterprise when I rented there before the employees were great to work with and they did everything they could to get a great deal on rental. so I went there on the 18th and was not satisfied with there demands with the new procedures that they're doing is ridiculous. I had rented with them before and now they rejected me because of bad information. I never had a show proof of a utility bill. We had a good experience, but just be aware this location is not near the airport. We had to take an Uber, $18 plus tip, in order to return our car and catch our flight. Had we known it was not at Sea-Tac, we would have rented elsewhere as the added stress of an Uber at 7:00 am was too much. Also, the car had a weird chemically smell that lasted from Thursday through Sunday. It never dissipated, even with the windows down. But all in all, a good experience and a safe ride. read more

I am an repeat Customer with Enterprise and I've patronized them in between vehicles and when I was having a vehicle fixed needless to say I've spent a lot of money with Enterprise I am doing this review solely on the Enterprise on Rainier Ave S in Seattle WA , I was in a rental in which I had back to back rentals within a week or so apart due to the winter weather I catch 6 buses to and from work at night , I get into the 2nd car rental within 2wks time and when it's time to return which the date was set for today I called and spoke to the Manager Matthew I spoke to him gave him my information and and asked if I could please drop the vehicle at the Enterprise on Sunset Blvd which is down the hill from where I live due to the freezing weather and potential slick conditions and he told me no I needed to bring the car to him I had to drive from the Renton East Highlands to Rainier Valley and then had to pay $60 dollars I didn't have for a Lift home because they said the day before they could only give me a courtesy ride a mile or 2 down the road. Do not rent with this Branch they do not care if it's it's winter of it's freezing cold or your disabled which I am and they definitely don't help with a courtesy ride they do not care about you or helping you other than putting you in a rental and taking you hard earned money where is the compassion the empathy or even the part where you at least try to make a resolution for a consumer that patronizes your company and has on a regular basis? , Do not got to this Branch all they care about is your money other than that the Customer Service sucks as a former Branch Manager myself you are supposed to go above and beyond for your customers. (Ring ring) "Hello, I would like to upgrade my car to a truck like you said I could".... "Sure let me check what we have..... OH sorry we have no trucks available. Please try tomorrow".... Tomorrow comes and same story no trucks available... Basically telling me what I want to hear without really thinking or explaining the situation... Needed a car last minute since my car was undergoing repairs. The guys upgraded me to an electric car and I was nervous at first, but they reassured me it was a great car and it really was!!! I took this car everywhere and never disappointed. Conner mainly helped me with check in and drop off and was the most helpful. The location manager literally takes a personal interest in making sure each of my "monthly" rentals are handled with the highest level of CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ended up needed to keep the car for over a month, they were super chill about the constant extensions I needed to make and they were very friendly. They made sure that everything was in order with my insurance so I could have my full deposit back. If you're in need of a rental car, i definitely wouldn't recommend this location. Anytime I've ever needed a rental, i use enterprise. But coming to this location on a Saturday with a online reservation was not the best idea. They are completely unorganized & unprepared. Originally my reservation was for Friday & i modified it for Saturday with a follow up call to ensure they would have a vehicle for me. Of course whom i spoke to verified my reservation was secure & if i needed to come later than the pick up time chosen they would still honor it. As i arrive the guy helping me says he doesn't have a reservation for me & they need to figure out what car they can give me because i chose a "small car". He then turns to a woman named Chanel (who is just absolutely rude) for help. She may have been overwhelmed because it was busy but there's no reason to treat a customer like that. I proceed to tell him that i modified the reservation online & then called right after yesterday. The woman Chanel whispers to him in front of me "no she didn't, i was here yesterday". So i then proceed to show him my call history that I did call. But why should i have to prove anything? & was that comment necessary? Long story short they told me to wait while Chanel makes a decision on what car to give me because they weren't prepared. Instead of just waiting i decided to leave & go to another enterprise. Last month a friend of mine came to town and rented at car at this location, it had 300 miles on it when he got the car and it reeked. I expected new car smell but it was heavily perfumed. No big deal for me, I only rode in it once. This month however, I rented a car from the same location. It had 8000 miles on it and I noticed the smell when I picked it up. However I was pretty focused on what I needed to get done that day and it's normal for a car that isn't your own to have an odor you aren't accustomed to. As the day went by and I was now 4 hours away I was nearly sick from being in the car. I rode with the windows down whenever possible but that smell!!! It was as though someone smoked in the car on a long drive and the rental company just covered up the odors with something of their own and it was nauseating. My bags and clothes had all been saturated by it and stunk as well. When I dropped off the car 5 days later, I let the employee know how uncomfortable it was. He told me I still owed them $57 for the additional driver and asked if there was anything he could do to make up for my bad experience. I don't know why he needed me to tell him a discount would have been appreciated. I paid my bill and left. Not what I want out of customer service. When I disappoint my customers, they don't need to ask for recompense, I just find a way to insure their satisfaction so they might return in the future. I do have a positive review, it was easy to pick up, the car was very clean and comfortable and there is a gas station right next door so it's easy to fill up before returning the car, which again was quick and easy. They really need to do something about the smell though, I bet it's known to cause cancer in the state of California. read more

Wow... called for pick up, rang for about 10 minutes no answer which is fine because I know they get busy but then someone picks up just to hang up. Ok, maybe it was a mistake. I call again, this time I only waited about 2 minutes and a very professional woman answered. I called at 11am to give them a heads up for my 11:30am reservation and she says they wont be able to pick me up until 3pm. ??? I used to work for enterprise at our LAX location which is one of the busiest if not the most and we've never told a customer they'd have to wait 4 hrs for a pick up. We had shuttles running to the airport but every now and then we had to make runs to the hotels. I'm not rating this on the experience of the actual rental because I'm not going to rent here but they either need more people or start sending car wash guys because 4hrs is ridiculous. Glad to see others have had better luck. Hope someone finds this review and doesn't have a need for their rental right away. This is a friday as well FYI. read more

I would say if you are buying a car these guys are good but trading in they definitely make it hard. I went to trade in a car and because of some negative equity they expected me to put down almost $8K for a car and a co-signer which wouldn't have been possible. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of in my life and a waste of 2 hours. We went to Enterprise thinking I reserved a bigger SUV then I actually did. They were busy, a Wednesday morning, everything rented out for the day. The manager Oscar helped us out so much. A bigger SUV had just been returned to the lot, Oscar had his staff hurry and clean it up for us and gave us the bigger one, no questions asked. We had to wait about 40 minutes to get a vehicle which was dirty but the worse part was the supervisor who kept telling the guy that was helping us to finish this and that customer. (Our second experience at Enterprise) Recently my girlfriend had bought a car from Enterprise on Grady Way. Not even a week later she decided the choice she made was not working out for her so we went back and Chris and the other staff there were helpful right away, they had her look at other options and made sure she was content this time. Not only did they make sure that we were happy, they were able to lower our interest rate; (as this car was more money than the first), but they able to give us more on our trade in. On an emergency trip reserved online a car from this location with the 9.99/day weekend F-M special. Arrived late in the day to pick up the car. The office was crowded but the desk staff were efficient. I was checked in by Kylie, a management trainee, for the compact car I reserved. She was efficient, conversant and pleasant in completing the rental contract and getting me going as soon as possible. Rcvd a zippy Chevy Spark. The rental car itself ran well for the around town driving I did over the weekend. My only possible gripe is 1/2 key fobs given to me was unusable. So, my advice to others is check both key fobs before leaving the rental lot. Other than that minor issue the rental could not have gone more smoothly. The return process was equally flawless and a pleasant staff member was able to give me a ride back to where I was staying post-return. I will definitely be back if again in need of a rental vehicle in the greater Seattle/Renton area. read more

I have never encountered anything as pathetic as this. After posting my review here and sending a complaint to Enterprise via their website, I was contacted by Dan, the local manager of this branch. I was busy at work so I couldn't really go into detail about what happen (but if he got the email I sent Enterprise Corp, he would know without me saying any more). But he did apologize for the problems we encountered and promised he would talk to his staff about the issues. He also stated to contact him whether there was anything he could to do make up for difficulties. After some time and decisions with my husband, I put in my request for restitution and Dan honored the request. For that, I appreciate his follow-up call and follow through with the restitution. It makes me feel he wanted to keep us as customers when it is very easy to just blow us off. Will have to come back again to see if this branch warrants getting a fifth star or not. read more

I'm not sure about the subpar reviews more than a year ago? Maybe a change in management or personnel at this location but my dad who was involved in a hit and run was able to be service and helped immediately. They got him into a truck although too big for his liking, after a week he was able to go into Enterprise and switch for a smaller Nissan something car... the gentlemen I wish I knew his name was outstanding and gave excellent customer service... well pretty much they all did throughout the whole process... we have State Farm and our insurance said we can go to hertz or enterprise... hertz hurt people especially their customers... if you want to be wrongfully accused of stealing a car or having a car longer in your possession and getting wrongfully charged, hertz is the way to go!!!! No thank you... also ace rent a car is a POS rental car company... stick with enterprise... you might pay a little more but the value is there and worth it for piece of mind... read more

I want to praise the efforts by Brenton and Sean (manager) for exceptional service and working to ensure my 2nd ever car rental experience was not only successful but pleasant and exceeding all my expectations...in order to take my child to the State Fair. Brenton picked me up right on time (GREAT customer service!) and he was polite and professional. He knew I was tight on my budget and did his best to answer all of my questions to select the coverage I desired, while not paying a penny more! I had reserved an Intermediate and received a compact but Sean and Brenton made up for it so I could save money. Brenton and Sean were patient with me even beyond closing on Sunday! Sean clearly knows and represents Enterprise exceptionally well, and took extra steps to make payments smooth for future rentals. Brenton and Sean alerted me of the weekend special which is so perfect for my family since we are car-less at this time. I plan to use it most weekends to enjoy life with my child and to be able to do more errands quickly. Please know these 2 staff members are why I will return and way more than I expected to. Things can get a little busy when customers show up at the same time, but they always do their best to get everyone taken care of in a timely manner.
