    We reserved a Managers special electric vehicle at an awesome rate during Graduation week locally in Seattle. To our surprise JOHN helped us at the 3rd level Check in counter. Customer service 2/5 rating. He was somewhat polite but clearly not appreciative of his job working in customer service. I get it, close to 1 am in the morning and all of a sudden 25 guests come to pickup vehicles. You're tired, so are we. But have some manners and be grateful you have a job. John got us setup with a midsize (the closest I'm size availability based on inventory) no apologies they could not honor there reservation. Meanwhile all but 20ish minutes we waited in the lobby and other guests also returned unhappy with the available options-- limited to a pickup truck ONLY. Going out to the vehicle. A bright candy apple red Hyundai sonata. We see a maintenance guy wondering the garage. Ask for his help. LEONARD (5/5 customer service rating) to the rescue, courteous, patient and friendly. He checks on a few of the noticeable electric cars. Finds one that they can release to us. Leonard gives me the cliffs notes training guide on how to operate our Tesla model Y vehicle. With the help of our second guardian Angel DONNA (another 5/5 customer service rating) We just need to switch our vehicle contract out at the exit, we're good to drive out. DANIEL (5/5 customer service rating) speedy checkout and updated our vehicle contract in seconds we were on our way and driving out of the garage. Daniel wished us well on our journey and thanked us for booking/renting with Hertz. Three amazing humans just doing there job, and exceeding expectations. Please pass on my kind words to their manager, kind, humble hospitality and appreciation for wearing a smile during a late night-early morning rush. They need an accolade and an incentive for going above and beyond the job responsibilities.

    Stay away from Hertz! I saw they had very bad ratings but didn't think it was really that bad, unfortunately it was!! I made a last minute booking through Expedia, it was confirmed so I went to pick up the car right away. The line was ridiculously long and the service was very slow. After almost an hour of waiting in line, I was told they didn't have any vehicles available cause they were overbooked! Luckily we were able to get a car from a different rental company but we wasted so much time that it just ruined our plans!

But the staff team that works the SeaTac venue was truly seamless. It was Gabe who first assisted me to confirm my paperwork and I think that took less than 10 minutes because I've been able to make the reservation by phone. I want to be really clear that I talked to a human to make the reservation and that made all the difference for me. The online version of it was inefficient and didn't allow me to ask questions and get clarification that I needed so I hope Enterprise continues to allow customers to talk to human Customer Service representatives because not all questions can be answered online. Then I was sent to the next area which involved some trepidation because it was a vast area of garage space but immediately Natalie who was part of Enterprise approached me and took my tentativeness and turned it into confidence. She walked me past several areas and made sure that I was put into a vehicle that suited my concerns. And instead of feeling limited by my selection upstairs I felt I was actually given some options in which car I could land in. That made a tremendous difference. Her welcome was genuine and she was very helpful. So between Gabe and Natalie I had a great car pick up experience. And then I'd like to mention Christian who helped me get out of my car when I returned it 24 hours later. He helped me figure out why I would not get a day return back Despite returning at 12 hours earlier, and he was friendly and very positive about his work. I think he was celebrating a work anniversary actually but I don't remember which one it was. Regardless kudos to Enterprise for having such great staff work with us to make a car pick up and car returns simple and seamless. My only issue now is that I left some keys in the car and I would love to figure out how to get a hold of them. I did email Enterprise but have not heard back. I wonder if there is a more direct route to figuring out Lost and found items?

I've used several different companies before but Enterprise generally has a pretty good rate. My last experience with Enterprise was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. At first, it was nice that they offered the choice of a car to me, and provided some full-size sedan options at no cost for an upgrade. I took a Nissan Altima. As soon as I pulled out of the registration, warnings started going off on my dashboard about low tire pressure. I checked the tire pressure and noticed it was enough to make it to my destination so I didn't pay it any mind. The destination I went to had no service stations nearby, so I e-mailed into Enterprise to ask about the issue. They said I could return the car or pull into a Firestone. It took a few days for me to get to the Firestone but once I did, the technicians took a look and found a deeply embedded nail into the tire that was slowly leaking air. I had attributed the tire pressure fluctuation to the cold weather. They filled the tire back up enough to where I would make it back to the airport. I reported the issue immediately via e-mail and to the manager on site. I'm leaving a 3-star instead of a 1-star because previous experiences have been fine, but this last one was straight up dangerous. Inspect your cars well before taking them out.

The booking process was incredibly smooth, with clear and concise instructions on where and how to pick up the rental upon arrival. When we landed, you do have to take a shuttle there (which the shuttle was already waiting.), the wait time was minimal. The gentleman who assisted me was helpful, polite, and professional. He mentioned available upgrades but did not pressure me when I declined, which I really appreciated. Finding the vehicle after check-in was easy, and another staff member guided us with friendliness and efficiency. The car itself was excellent, spotless, comfortable, and in great condition. I had zero complaints. When my flight was delayed and I needed to extend the rental, the process was just as seamless. I was able to handle everything through my email booking without any confusion or hassle. As someone who isn't very tech-savvy, I found it extremely user-friendly. Returning the car was just as convenient. A staff member was ready and waiting, quickly inspected the vehicle and fuel level, and provided the invoice on the spot. completely hassle-free. I will definitely book with Sixt again and hope to have the same excellent experience. It's rare to find such consistent, high-quality service these days. Thank you! Then, he pretended his screen wasn't working and folded up the agreement when he handed it to us. We should have looked at the agreement, but he used every unconscionable sales tactic, and I guess it worked, but why do even have to be wary of big brand rental car company? We are returning the car tomorrow and I am going to give The Renee a piece of my mind. We called to complain and no one cares. Don't ever use Sixt.

Using a hack that I learned from Dan O., I went online to Autoslash.com to find the lowest price for an economy car. I was referred to Priceline where I made a reservation with Dollar Car Rental. When I arrived at SeaTac Airport, I caught the free shuttle to the Rental Car Facility and followed the signs to the Dollar desk. Because it was early morning (around 6:30am), no one was at the desk. I caught the elevator to the First Floor (as directed by the sign) where I found the small office with no air conditioning. The agent told me to leave my luggage outside of the office while I completed the paperwork. Yikes! Anyway, I answered all questions and found the blue, 4-door Toyota Prius in the assigned stall. However, I wasn't able to shift the gears. I went back to the office to explain my dilemma. The agent followed me back to the car and gave me a quick tutorial. Ahh... hybrid engines are quiet. I need to shift to drive before shifting to reverse. The Prius turned out to be a good choice because I was able to squeeze into tight parking spaces. The apartment where my niece lives doesn't have a parking lot nor parking garage. Street parking is limited. Also, the Prius was very fuel efficient! I drove from Seattle to Victoria, British Columbia, (through Vancouver) and back with one tank of gasoline! Everything worked out fine!

For the first time ever I bought the prepaid gas plan. I thought from the way it was explained that you only paid for the amount if gas they put into it when you return the car. This is not correct. You pay for an ENTIRE tank of gas regardless of the level in the tank when you return the car. They also charge taxes and concessions fees on top of the price per gallon. As a result I ended up paying $81+ for a quarter tank of gas. Lesion learned. I only bought the prepaid plan because they said their prices were cheaper than gas in town. The per gallon price they charged was about .40 a gallon higher than in town prices. In the end what they charged me was $20 higher than their estimate and I have received no receipt or email of any kind with an itemized bill. Nor have I been able to reach anyone via their contact information to get an explanation.

    I had a very disappointing experience with Hertz at SeaTac…read more I reserved a vehicle through my credit card rewards program and paid for the entire 8-day rental in advance using points. Upon arrival, there was only one agent serving a long line of customers, resulting in a wait of more than 45 minutes just to reach the counter. At pickup, Hertz placed a $697 charge on my credit card. I was specifically told this was only a security deposit/authorization hold because the rental had already been paid in full. During the rental process, I expressly declined all optional products and services, including damage waivers, insurance coverage, and other add-ons. I also confirmed with the representative that the charge would only be relevant if the vehicle was returned with damage. I returned the vehicle one day early and was advised by the return agent that there would be no additional charges. I was told the rental had been prepaid, the vehicle was returned without issue, and the security deposit would be released in full and I may get additional points back as a result of the early return. A few days later, however, Hertz charged my credit card an additional $372.22. The receipt included charges for damage waiver-related products, concession recovery fees, and associated taxes, items that I had explicitly declined at pickup. I never authorized these charges and was never informed they would be added to my rental. I was told both at pickup and return that no additional charges would apply. As a result, I now have to spend time disputing the charges with my credit card company. Based on my experience, I found the rental process confusing, the communication inconsistent, and the post-rental billing practices frustrating. What should have been a simple prepaid rental redeemed with rewards points has turned into an unnecessary and time-consuming dispute.
