Great service....!! Irma is very helpful and friendly. Dropped off my drapes and will be available on Thursday... which is great for me. The hours are convenient. And that makes up for the location, which was rather hard for me to find. The street numbers are somewhat faded... So if you blink, it's easy to miss. Luckily Irma was very accommodating and guided me to the location when I called... my GPS kept me go in in circles... and the Chinese writing wasn't helpful when trying to identify local businesses near the dry cleaners.. Went there last tuesday to have my skirt hem. The owner was kind enough to entertain my needs. She even ask for my personal preference on the stitches. I am not very particular so i am okay with whatver she thinks would work. Alteration usually takes just a day but i opt to come back and pick it up just this saturday. I am very pleased with how the skirt looks now after the repair. I would say prices are okay. read more

I had to have a dress pants altered to the correct length 2 hrs before a wedding and Dollar Cleaners was one of a few stores that opened on a Sunday (thank god). The owner knew I was in a hurry, took my pants and did it on the spot in 5 mins! I was so happy to have this done last min and appreciate the customer service I received. The man, business owner in this dry cleaner has a very bad verbal communication skill and attitudes. He does not know and/or care about customer service. Also, he does not listen to his customer instead of arguing and being very rude. I think he needs an attitude adjustment if he wants to be successful in his business. I decided to come here based on the great reviews, but I was very disappointed with the way I was charged. I dropped off two suits for alterations, to basically give some of my older, more billowy suits a slimmer fit. I was quoted $47 for the jackets and $26 for the slacks. I thought they were fair prices since I realized the work would be more extensive than a simple hemming in. I came by two weeks later to pick up and what transpired greatly bothered me. For one of the suits, the jacket had been altered but not the slacks. The proprietor explained that the slacks had tiny holes on the legs. The tailor could clearly see that it was a suit and not separates. Had he called and told me the pants had holes in them I never would have had the jacket altered. But now I had to pay almost fifty bucks for a useless suit jacket. I felt cheated. This is not a way to run a business. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

What a lifesaver!!!! I had to get an emergency fix on a dress for an important event that came up for a mere few hours away/same day. I had to find a tailor that was open on Sundays. I easily parked, spoke with the nice woman at the front, who advised me that it could be fixed (I had brought it to a few places before and was informed it could not be fixed). It was fixed BEAUTIFULLY and in just a half hour. I was thoroughly impressed, and the pricing was also very reasonable. Moving to another city sucks! You have to find new go to spots for your everyday needs and that takes a while. Thank god there's yelp now and thank you to all the yelpers I found this place. This place is great. 1. The quality of the work is terrific. 2. This place is so inexpensive it's absurd. 3. They are open seven days a week. I drive all the way from the South Bay to Monterey Park to use them. I had a suit that was purchased in the 90s and it just wasn't looking very fashionable anymore. I took it to them and they brought in the sides so that it was more fitted and they reduced the width of the shoulders because they were too big. That's normally over $100 in work and they did it for $45. The suit looks great and I still wear it all the time. I highly recommend Dollar Cleaners. read more

Dry cleaning for a fair price! I dropped off my jackets and the turn around is 2-3 days. The price is literally a few dollars. Dollar Cleaners is located at the back of a shopping plaza so don't be deterred if at first you cannot find the place. best dry cleaners you can get on this side of LA. Absolutely loved getting my clothes dry cleaned here. They are always friendly and welcoming when I come in. They know my grandparents lol. Love that. I have used their alteration services. It is not only inexpensive but also very good. You can't tell when they have made their alterations. They are really quick. Prices were cheap, and was expecting better quality from the yelp reviews. Brought several of my suits here but none of them turned out the way I planned. You can see the stitching on the trousers; the jacket sleeves were hemmed too short; and the service was just too pushy. Had my sofa cover dry cleaned here and it didn't make much difference , had a food crust stain on the pillow that the lady pointed out when I dropped it off, and after 3 dry clean wash cycles they said they did, the food particle is still there as well as other stains , they did get out a couple of yogurt spills , but for the most part I would say 80% of it still looks the same and if the food crust was still there I wonder if it was even cleaned , so $45 and not much difference , seems like most of the reviews are for alterations which I didn't do, but other in my family have without an issue , too bad their dry cleaning isn't up to par with the alterations , see pics for proof of stain still there that I had to clean after I got the covers back on. I wish I could have given them a better review but I can't , he probably knew it too which is why he ask if I really needed a receipt and my mistake I said no not expecting the cover would still be stained. At the end all of these dry cleaner are the same , they send all of the work to a main shop in Montebello , none of them do the dry cleaning in house read more

I've never had any cleaning done here but there are excellent for simple alterations. I came here once to have extra loops sewn onto some pants. I also came to have a patch sewn onto a jacket. Both times, they were available for pick up the very next day. Great place. read more
