Why pay $5 at Trader Joes for 6 ounces of sundried tomatoes when you can get a pound of them here for the same price? Like feta? They have the real Greek variety in a massive pounder bag that is resealable (insert seal sound). Blueberries at Kroger are roughly $5/pint. Here, you can get 4 pints for about $7. They do have limited fresh veggies and fruit. They cut meat and cheese to order. You can get everything from breakfast foods to dinner, snacks to super pleasing in taste dessert foods. Also, basic cleaning supplies come in super sized portions which are great on the budget (less the back). Overall, GFS is a time and budget saver. Great for buying large and saving more. Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them.
