I use to go there when I needed to buy stuff after I dropped my daughter off at school and my husband would have my son so that I didn't have to get him loaded into the car and then out for 2-3 items and then load him back up. Recently had to switch my go to store in the morning to Kroger which cost a little more but more selections and is actually open at 8am.

The hallways that leads to it is dark and feels like you permanently left the store and crossed over into the Twilight Zone. When asked a employee after I thought I searched every possible walkway in the corner of the store. She replied, "there's one down that hallway to the right all the rest are broken will not flush". The restroom is down a hallway, where the floor turns from laminated tile floors into broken, cracked concrete it will smell like luke. Luke, an extremely harshable smell usually from something spoiled or foul smelling water. The stall was hardly lit with three cod cockroaches, cod cockroaches da-da da da daaaaa.. it was like they was placed there. One out in the open, one behind the trash can, and the last behind the toilet itself all lying on their backs. I was zoned out, wondering if one giant one would appear behind me that I forgot to even use the restroom. It's my urges was gone. The smells on the inside was smelly welly also. It kinda reminded me of that movie, Rest Stop. When the cop is the restroom. Besides the creepy restroom. The store is a small Walmart. It has grocery, clothes, household, pet, and most stuff as larger store has. Even long lines, with one or two registers open. If you come in at the right time, you might be encounter local drama between the customer and employees or better with the cops involved.

I wouldn't shop here for weekly staples unless you live very close by but it's super fun store that subways has a least a few cheap surprises. Everything here is either expired or out of stock. I used to buy Pocky's favourite snacks here and now I can't find them anywhere. I went in tonight and spotted so many expired items, even molded beef jerky..I immediately notified the manager of that. It seems like ever since they've hired more Hispanic cashiers here, a lot fluctuation of Hispanics have been shopping here and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but they like to look and stare at me as if I'm a criminal. Plus, the new staff isn't nice nor friendly, only treat Hispanic customers kind. They actually take the time to speak and hold conversations with them in their native language than to actually speak to non-Hispanic customers. For example, I was in the ladies restroom trying to wash my hands until I noticed there wasn't any soap. I asked the staff member could she bring more soap since she was already refilling the toilet tissue. As soon as I was waiting for her to return with the soap, a couple of Hispanic ladies stared and looked at me as if I was the problem. One even tried to shoo me out of the restroom when I was trying to tell the young cashier thank you for the soap. It's funny because I never have that issue when I visit the Pasadena location. Also, sometimes you can spot good things here, but not all the time. If you glance at the exterior, you'll notice they put up a fence. I guess to block out the homeless guy and his pet bull, not pitbull, actual black bull. I seen once at his depleted shack. Oh how they had money to put up a fence, but didn't think twice about fixing the potholed parking lot. Guess what, not everything is .99 cents like at Dollar Tree everything is $1. Although this location is closest to my house, I drive the extra mile for the Pasadena location. It just feels too dead in here. Now, they have security.

Gen Z for the win! Now it's a regular stop for us every time she's in town. You can find anything in this store, all your beauty and household needs, cool snacks, just about anything. I've been needing 2 2026 wall calendars. Sadly they didn't send out the good old City of Pearland ones this year. Daiso got me fixed up with two adorable puppy calendars for only $2.25. They were $2.25 for both because they were buy one get one free. I'm so lost without wall calendars. Relying on my phone just doesn't quite cut it for me and now thanks to Daiso I'm all fixed up! The only thing, besides the numbers and the days of the week, the calendars are in Japanese, but the numbers and days of the week are all that I need! I also got some cute little kitten chair leg socks. I never even knew I needed chair leg socks B4 visiting Daiso. The store is full of those items you never knew you couldn't live without. The store is also very clean, has an easy checkout process, friendly staff and plentiful parking since it's in a shopping center.

They were glass containers and better quality than I was expecting. As with any Daiso, they have all sorts of items from home goods, decor, storage containers, etc. The employees are friendly and are always willing to help if you need assistance.

This bright blue building is easy to spot, but you may not realize what it is if you're not looking for it. The parking lot fills up quickly and they are limited on spots, but they seemed to be pretty steady with the come and go flow that made finding a spot manageable. Upon entering the building via ramp that leads up from two sides, you see that there are many rooms with different items in each. As this is clearly an old house, you go to different rooms to find different items. We didn't peruse through everything since we had my toddler in tow, but walking through to the very back room we took a quick look throughout and it seemed to all be organized and well kept. There were people actively sorting through new donations and plenty of people available if you needed help or had questions. I believe the people working are all volunteers, and you could tell they were happy to be helping. While we didn't really look everywhere, the prices that we saw were very good and I would gladly pay the low prices for the good quality items. We only left with one item, and I'm pretty sure they only take cash, but we were in an out in no time. They even had a box of items that they let my son pick from. He chose a little kids meal book and he enjoyed looking at it in the car once we left. Just a heads up, the hours are extremely limited. I believe they're only open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10AM-3PM, but if you can make it in those times, it's worth checking out.

A wide selection of items to choose from such as clothes, shoes, bags, glassware, books, decor, etc. They do not sell big appliances or furniture pieces. The drop off is very easy. As it was my first time I had to ask staff what to do with my donations and they instructed me. They have a garage style door and during their business hours you just take your donations and leave them with the other donations outside. The ladies inside were very nice. The store was nicely laid out and organized. You can tell they take consideration as to what is put out. It is not damaged junk as we're seeing more and more at other donation stores. I will be back when I have more time to look around. I did leave with a purchase and am excited to rummage through next time.

I found a dresser that I was interested in but it didn't have a price sticker. So I asked one of the workers and he rattled off $69.99 without even looking at the one I wanted. Then we walked over there and he was like, "You wanted this little one, right? It's $69.99." I'm sorry but $70 for a USED dresser with scratches and whatnot seems HIGH (Better than Salvation Army's $200 ones but still, $70 is high). Regardless, his attitude just seemed so arrogant. Didn't sit well with me. BUT, the silver lining is that I did find a pair of $170 Rock Revival jeans for $6.99. I'll come back.
