Located off of Lafayette Avenue in Hawthorne, we discovered this establishment offering antiques, furniture, household goods, and collectibles. Upon arriving at the entrance in the back, which might look small from the outside, Then and Now Consignment Shop with its floor-to-ceiling and in every nook and cranny, items come in all shapes and sizes, and finding the perfect one for your collection can be a real accomplishment. My partner and I came here looking for something to put our artificial, realistic flowers in. Already have our eyes on a couple of items and finally found a beautiful glass vase at a reasonable price. This is all worth a visit and has enough stock to keep collectors of all manner of items happy, which we can recommend.

The store is littered with broken items still priced high. Knockoffs are priced like the real deal. Items with little value like Hummel figures are bagged and priced outrageously high even with heads broken off or hands missing. So many items are bagged and you cannot see what is in the bag. Identical items are split up and spread around the store. Items that should be sold together are priced separately and irrationally. I once saw two identical items in two different locations. One was priced at $8 and the other at $26. Neither was worth even the lower price.

Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County ReHouse sells a wide variety of quality used building materials. Despite the smaller selection, the furniture pieces appeared to all be high quality and of good value. Their products ranged from antique to modern and from basic to "top of the line."  They are much less expensive than new, sometimes very unique, and always good for the environment. They would pick up resellable items, so please call them before one puts any furniture out for the trash. Often times when we are in a pharmacy it is not during our best times. Sharon always made it easier with her empathetic & personal approach, combined with her professionalism, you never left the pharmacy without feeling both informed and cared about. There are other pharmacists, I'm sure many may be good, but there is only one Sharon. After 30 years of exceptional service, a trusted partner in our families health & well being, and an overall level of individual care that no other pharmacy could replicate, we are sad to see what has happened. While calling Olsson's this week to check on 2 prescriptions that I needed filled I was informed that they will no longer order the medicine that I needed filled. Abrupt discontinuation of my medications is widely known to cause severe, and in some cases, life threatening consequences. The FDA states that abrupt discontinuation of the medications I'm prescribed causes severe physical & psychological harm to patients. I did not want to stop taking my medications abruptly but due to the fact that my script is due on Saturday (tomorrow) it literally leaves me no time whatsoever to avoid what will now happen to me. I understand businesses change, new owners have their own way of doing things, I get it. Giving patients absolutely no notice regarding medications that will have severe negative life altering consequences due to the abrupt discontinuation is going to cause me more undue harm than I could begin to explain. My wife and I have contacted every major and minor pharmacy in the area and as it stands the earliest I could possibly get the medication is Monday. So that leaves me from now until hopefully some time on Monday to deal with the ramifications. Just a heads up for anyone in a similar position. My disability, which is both crippling me & will cause my death, becomes secondary in a sense to the challenges created by others. We're going to keep trying to find somewhere, anywhere, to get the meds I need but after 24 hours of already trying the chances of finding an acceptable alternative is slim to none. I feel as though he might have sold my clock and will not answer my inquires. My disadvantage is living out of State but I did have a credible recommendation from a Seiko Company to contact this person for repairs.
