These are pictures of the ones in the back where there is no indication that the increase in price should take affect on that particular flower. The manager Brian was not there so I could not talk to him, but I told them that I would give feedback online and perhaps they would honor the price that they are labeled. I'm waiting to hear from the management. This is especially disappointing because I had given this store, a much higher rating in prior reviews. But I do not believe that changing the price at the cash register is an ethical practice. I'm hoping to get it rectified with the management and the owner . Great prices & you down always score a good discount on party decorations, candy, gift and so much more. The customer service is great. However, I liked the way they had things organized, like how each rack had two separate sides. For example, there was a "Dress Rack", right next to the "Skirt Rack", and it was actually arranged in sizes on each rack. Not all thrift stores do this, and a lot of the time thrift stores just haphazardly arrange things. At this place, each size was actually labeled. Secondly, I also liked how there were all sorts of glasswares arranged on top of each clothes rack. It's easier to understand if you've actually been there. And I could see how some people could find it weird or chaotic, but I liked the layout. It really is just a matter of personal opinion, after all. Thirdly, you can actually try on clothes here. This place reminded me strongly of the Value Villages that I frequent, but they don't actually have dressing rooms. I really liked that I could try on the clothes that I picked out, because I ended up not liking how any of them fit. Fourthly, the book haul was good here. I got 12 books that varied from translated French Poetry and a hardbound leather book of Emily Dickenson poems, to two hard back Joe Hill books ("Horns" and "Heart Shaped Box"), as well as a few other books that piqued my interest. My companion to the store ended up getting the second book in the "Ender's Game" series, and a really awesome bartending book that has recipes dating from the 1930s-1960s, complete with small vintage photographs of the prepared drinks. I usually don't rate thrift stores until I've been there a few times, but this thrift store seems very promising in the future for clothes. On a side note, the employees always seem to be happy and helpful. That speaks volumes! Happy employees mean they have a great manager. My experience here has always been a good one. If I need something and its not on the shelf, I usually ask the manager or find a employees and ask if they will look in the back to see if they have it. Some times they have it. Sometimes they dont, but they go that extra mile and at least go and look for me. It makes me feel like customers come first. I like that!! Employees and manager have always been very helpful and really nice. I have been to every Family Dollar in my area and have run across some rude cashiers and that's it for me. I will take my $1 where I'm appreciated. I won't give them a second chance. And I also have noticed employees telling panhandlers to move along. Get away from their store. To me, that's a deal breaker because panhandlers can get aggressive in this area. I feel comfortable knowing that when I shop here, I won't have to deal with them. I have quit going to any other Family Dollar except this one. This really is my go-to store. Please note... The Yelp review I did last year, was for the Family Dollar up on Covington Hwy near Memorial Drive. That location is a horrible store. If your timing is right, you can find gems here: Waterford vases, Lenox china, Le Creuset pots...you get the picture. In addition, you'll find crafting supplies, paper goods, candles, pet toys, decorative items for your home/deck/yard, rugs, towels and even some accessories and items of clothing. The Tuesday Morning in Milton seems a little smaller than others I've shopped, but this location has one of the better selections of small furniture (occasional tables, chairs, lamps etc.), kitchen appliances/kitchen wares and throw pillows. They also have a pretty good linens section. Located in the large shopping center on Hwy 9 - anchored by Target and Kohl's - it can be a little difficult to get to, due to the traffic. There's a very large parking lot, so there's never a problem finding parking. The biggest downside to this location is the speed of service - it's fairly normal to have to wait in line to check out. I don't think I've ever seen more than 2 associates running the registers, so I don't advise popping in if you're in a hurry.
