To make matters worse, I spent way too much time going in circles with Walmart's chat system just trying to reach a human. After finally speaking with someone, I was told I have to wait another 48 hours before I can even request a refund because they want to see if the order gets delivered again. So let's do the math: 48 hours waiting for a delayed package, then another 48 hours waiting to ask for a refund. That's four days of waiting after Walmart already failed to deliver the order correctly. What does a person have to do to get some wine glasses and plates? The most frustrating part isn't even the delivery mistake. It's spending time with multiple customer service representatives only to end up right back at square one. In an era where companies are investing heavily in AI and customer experience, Walmart needs to do better. If customers have to fight through automated systems and multiple support agents just to get basic help, something is broken.

The one good feature about target (Dickson City, PA) is that being a guy I have no issues with women entering the 'men's' room. The 'identify' as a woman sex abusers leave more accessibility for straight guys. Not so much fun for the very young or elderly females.

Anywho. my friend had to go and part of the joy of a long trip to the lav is catching up on this and that on ur phone. bad news. no cell service. Something important could have happened while she was in there and she wouldn't have known bc there was no service. it's not much to throw a wifi box in the bathroom. i took off 2 stars for the hassle. also i the line for starbucks is always long. on a good note xmas tree farm was playing so at least she was able to sing and be occupied during her stay in the bathroom. pic for reference below. happy holiday!

Horrible customer service to nobody's surprise. Tried to use the picture printing kiosk and 32 of…read moremy 55 pictures printed. Then the kiosk ran out of paper. Asked the associate to please fill it. She barely attempted to and asked another associate for help. The other associate said it would be 20 minutes until the associate with the key to unlock the cabinet with the paper would be back. I said okay and waited. 20 minutes later a male associate comes back and says the same thing about the associate on break with the key. Proceeded to wait ANOTHER 20 MINUTES for someone to fill the printer. The associate "with the key" comes over and fills the kiosk with paper from and UNLOCKED CABINET RIGHT NEXT TO THE KIOSK. She then tells us we can't use the kiosk anymore. I let her know we already had an order in progress and had the receipt for 55 pictures. She said we could use the other computers next to it but I had already waited 40 minutes at this point and Lord knows how long it would've taken to get the remaining pictures. The associate rang us up for 32 pictures at the register by the photo station. She never apologized (and neither did any of your other staff) or even offer to ring up the other items in my hands. Absolutely HORRIBLE service and it's unreal to think it took 40 minutes for your staff to fill a printer with paper. Had they had even the tiniest bit more urgency the kiosk would not have timed out because I stood there and watched it timeout after 30 minutes. Ridiculous is an understatement for this experience and I will never return to such an embarrassment of an establishment.

Other nearby Walmart locations, including the smaller one in Napanoch, have clean, refreshed displays. This store got a few brand new black cardboard signs, but most of the store still looks like it's held toghether by duct tape and bubble gum. They've slowly removed things like vending machines in the entrances, so now there's more places for the homeless to congregate, and the store does next to nothing about that. The spot for a restaurant has been vacant for about a decade now; they've made no effort to replace it. Over the years they lost a McDonald's and a bank, and they've only just replaced the bank, nearly a decade later, with a cell phone accessory store that would usually be a kiosk in the mall. This Walmart is not the one-stop destination that others, like Middletown, is. They routinely have the majority of their self-service registers closed, even though they require minimal staffing, so there is always a line. On my most recent visit, only 3 of the 16 were open, all on the opposite side of the building from where I entered. The register I used had a broken barcode scan wand, which I needed for an oversized item, and the chip reader for credit cards was also broken. Does this mean the other 13 registers have worse equipment? When I order items from the website, they sometimes decide to fulfill my orders from this location rather than a warehouse. When that happens, items are usually shipped two days AFTER the guaranteed delivery date. Based on the stickers on the packages, they were packed on time and then left on the side, forgotten. As more and more stores open nearby, they are going to lose a few dollars here and there until we lose them for good. We need this Walmart here; I remember the days when we had to go down to Middletown for basic needs. We need this store here, but they shouldn't take us for granted -- they need to give a darn about us, also.
