On top of that, he even threw in a rug, which was such a generous surprise. When we realized the couch might not fit in our vehicle, the owner immediately offered to help us strap it to the top of our van if we had straps. That level of customer service is rare these days. Truly an awesome guy who clearly cares about his customers. Great prices, great people, and an overall stress-free experience. I will definitely be coming back. For the size of the store I don't think it's very smart that they leave just one person on the floor. After multiple trips to this store I always see the cashiers alone and ask them and they tell me they're always by themselves. There's always a line a check out that is so long. And usually there's no backup. Today, the cashier ended up needing change and the Store Manager came out and ended up helping at checking people out. The floors and isles here are in dangerous conditions for customers. Littered with overflowing boxes, and isles nearly clogged with all boxes. It looks unorganized and unkept. The prices are not labeled on things here, so you might find one cheap item then get something for seven dollars like I did with some Christmas ornaments I purchased. No price! I just don't understand how a Corporation could let this kind of wreck of a store happen? I feel very sorry for the employees here. It's not their fault! And I always see new faces here. I never see the same people which suggests to me a high turnover. Also, be careful with the expiration. I have purchased some items that were expired. Unfortunately, after the disappointment I've had here I won't be returning anytime soon. I will be steering clear of Dollar Tree for now. I love a bargain, but not at the expense of an understaffed corporate store. I don't foresee this store being open long term unless there are some major overhauls.

I remember back in the day when everything was only $1 The last time I was in a dollar tree I bought some fake flowers for $5. They looked ok when I bought them, but when I took it home I bent the stems and they worked with me and I really fluffed it up and it looked great. I used it for my little girl's cemetery plot at the pet cemetery. This time our quest was for graduation cards. The odd thing was the sign said 2 for a dollar. One card was 50 cents and the other card was over a dollar. I think they made a mistake. My parents have two graduates they know of and wanted to get them some cards. There is a discussion going on as what is the etiquette for when you receive graduation announcements for people you don't' know. They know the parents, but not the kids and the parents are really just friends of friends so you have no real connection. Do you send a card, give a gift, send money, then if you send money how much do you send. This was a topic of discussion we had on my visit. I said my good friends graduated last year and since I am such good friends with the mother I sent a check and card to their child for a graduation gift. It wasn't expected, but it was appreciated. For friends of friends kids now that's a challenge as you aren't that connected to the parents and it's odd to me that they would wasted the money on sending announcements to people that their kids don't have a connection with. With my girlfriend we talk about their kids all the time and they become part of my relationship with them. I don't know what they decided. I think out of obligation they'll send a check in the cards they just purchased. My parents also got a few cans of chick peas to roast in their air fryer. They are so good when they are toasty. After googling how to cook them it was a flop. We finally took a shot in the dark and clicked the French fry button and it worked. We had perfectly fried chicken peas. They are so good and crispy. Not as crunchy as corn nuts, but still crunchy. The chick peas were not a super deal. The same price as our favorite store, but they are cans half the size.
