I only really shop here for gift bags and wrapping paper and it's always a good spot to get these things. The place isn't run amazingly and it's not the cleanest, but it's convenient in a pinch. There's a newer dollar tree not far from here that has better selection and service but this one IS closer most days.

It makes me sad that the store can't keep up with the organization, whether it is before or after hours. The store is mostly trashed and the items I came to look for were mostly opened. It is very unfortunate. Not only your old dollar tree remains the same but the prices are now $1.25... It was only matter of time we would see a price increase, however it is unacceptable to come to a store were it is hard to shop because lots of items are trashed. The good thing that makes the store nice, is how friendly the staff is at this particular location.

We showed up at 10:40, stared at what looked like a mini Navy deployment, and were inside within 30 minutes. The line moves faster than expected, so it was a quick in-and-out mission. Lots of Navy merch which was cool. Now, if you're on the hunt for a "Navy Mom" apparel, may the odds be ever in your favor. Those things disappear faster than free samples at Costco!! Plenty of Navy Dad, Brother, and Sister gear still hanging around, but the Mom merch? Practically an endangered species. A bonus for all my fellow introverts: they've got self-checkout lanes, so you can scan your own stuff, avoid awkward small talk, and be on your way like a retail ninja!!

We then browsed around the consumer section to see if they had anything new compared to the last 2 visits.... Didn't really see much inventory that stood out. Same ol' hoodies, Sweatshirts, t-shirts, keychains and water bottles. Saw some Navy UA Hats, but were the fitted sizes. Prices were still a little high. This time around, purchased 2 water bottles and a leather wallet. First two times, we bought a whole bunch of souvenirs, so we mainly looked around this time for anything new in store.

From cards, candy, and candles to charm bracelets, books about beer, and super-hero trinkets, they've got you covered. It's a nice shopping experience too. The staff is helpful and warm, the aisles are wide, and you can wander about for awhile and forget where the times' gone. Donna checked me out today. She was efficient and friendly and provided a special wrapping for the soap I purchased. I also got a great deal. She explained,it's a receipt coupon, for February - $5 off $15- which prints on your receipt for your next purchase. I used my coupon the same day and another coupon printed out on that receipt. How great is that? I'll definitely be back, probably later this month!

Grocery items include instant Ramen, Chips, drinks, Mac and Cheese cups, etc. The store also sells toiletries, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper and bottles of water. Kind of pricey, all in all! Inventory of items are decent in a variety of choices, but purchase prices are higher than most stores! Thought they were supposed to be a bit lower? In any case, it was a good first store experience. Bought a couple of Navy hoodies, and stuff needed for personal use. Other than that, didn't really buy much at all. They're also sitting next to a lot of other popular stores like Best Buy and Target so it's nice to be able to complete the whole shopping spree on the same Plaza. This Jewel has a great selection of all types of food products but also has a phenomenal alcohol section and I love their selection the flowers. I stopped by there yesterday ( last night) specifically to get flowers for Valentine's Day. They had an outstanding display of various rose bouquets and they were all very fresh-looking, which makes it super easy to choose. Another thing to mention is that their customer service people are always very friendly and helpful. And last but not least, they actually have a Starbucks store inside of the Jewel store which is fantastic.
