What gets my goad is coming home to upload tge digital image and seeing Walgreens dumbassery on full display: Their frigging ad tagline runs across the top of the photo! We get an estimated window of 2 hours but I have never had to wait the full time. Once we arrive I have never waited more than 5 minutes to pick up my order. This is so incredibly helpful esp with an infant. Shopping alone is sometimes hard when they are this young and having a reliable service is so great! The only downfall is for the store itself, they are constantly out of so many things. Which is great when considering that means folks are really enjoy these same items, but the difficulty of getting things becomes a hit or miss. Had to go 3 days in a row to get my prescriptions right and the exact same bag of trash was sitting next to the front doors for 3 days. Seriously your employees don't pick up the parking lot? Shelves are back to being a mess. WHAT HAPPENED? Couldn't get anyone to do our passport photos so we left and went down the road to Gurnee. Got our photos done, store was clean and organized. Went to leave and I think she was a female manager and a guy in a suit. Probably her DM were up front talking and I said as we were leaving, have a nice day, female manager said thanks you to. The guy didn't even look up and say a word. I worked in retail for 38 years and I was a Divisional that covered 508 stores and now retired. I have learned that this pharmacy can compound custom medications for people and pets, including flavored options for animals (!!!). Surprisingly there are lots of toys and candies (at child level), greeting cards, sodas as well as gift items and medical supplies. So bring in your kids, your elderly parent, your dog (maybe?), your spouse. I must find out more about these flavored meds for pets.

Then when a little extra work was needed by pharmacist, he was inadequate. I see same in other reviews. Really pathetic that someone who went to school to indirectly help people with their medication doesn't want to do that unless it only involves pushing a button to dispense medication. I see other reviews where they reported him to the Board of Professional Regulation. I did same for refusing to coordinate with my Dr and perform basic required pharmacist skills. I try to give the small guys some business, and this is why we use cvs or walgreens. They provide basic customer service.

I called this location and they first told me they didn't have any record of me at their location and told me to call a different location and that location said it was at their location. I called back and spoke to the manager this time, and he continued to say that they had no record of me and asked why I was going to this location as if that was pertinent information for him. He continued to be very sassy and rude so I became frustrated as he did not believe me that the app and the other location both said that the medication was ready at his location. I then asked to speak to somebody else, and he said there was nobody else at their location. Magically there was somebody else there and when she checked, she found the prescription. She stated that she didn't scroll to the bottom of my profile, which they originally said, didn't exist, to see the prescription. I strongly advise staying clear of this location if possible. It is clearly a very poorly run store with employees who lack proper training and customer service skills.
