Went here yesterday to get some inexpensive frames for a function and miscellaneous...the store was so clean and well organized and very spacious and I found what I needed and I loved the energy drink selection in the cases which were filled with lots of options. This is probably the best Dollar Tree in the whole country. There are two other Dollar Tree stores this size in San Jose, but this one is well-organized and run by people who care. There is one on Capitol Ave and the other is near State Road 17 and Hillsdale. Obviously, it needs a big Dollar Tree Plus! sign out front because the days of $1.00 merchandise are done. Even the candy is more than that now. There is a fair amount of $5.00 items now. They have merchandise that you'll find at Walmart or Target but you don't have to stand in another line at another store to get it. I buy a lot of drinks and snacks at this one. They're usually well-stocked on most everything. They have a good frozen section with some brands you'd find elsewhere, such as Bibigo for Bao Buns and Mandu/Dumplings or the Golden Krust Jamaican Beef Patties. I wish I had a car so that I could load up. I still can't believe that Snyder's of Hanover pretzels are $1.25 for a big bag. I've seen some really amazing deals from time-to-time. Once I found Goli Ashkawanda, which was normally $13.99 for only $1.25. Staff are always good and try to make things better. read more

This place has gone so far down hill it's considered ghetto. It's now $1.50 +. Went in and multiple people walking around with dogs and 1 was not leashed. The worst part is it smell like dog feces really bad.. super dirty and just gross.. read more

They are now $1.25 store. Gone are the days of the 99 cent stuff here because, inflation! Anyway, their prices are actually more consistent throughout the product that they have compared to the other big $ store. I somewhat like most of their slections here and they have plenty. Always make sure that what you're getting are all intact coz soem people teng to open/steal stuff inside packaging. Definitely a must for inexpensive party decors. read more

This store is clean & spacious. They have several new items in stock. Love the craft section & the other diy things that you can craft with, also. Nice freezer section, though not always filled with what I'm looking for. I'm sure they don't get merchandise every day, but they try, just like all the other stores. Best selection for miles around, and the store is reasonably clean and neat. It's still a Dollar Tree, so it's a large quantity of Dollar Tree items. Craft section is enormous compared to any of my local stores. read more

My first time at this location was aprox. A week before Christmas. I was excited to come here as I always like exploring new Dollar Trees. Also, this particular location is a bigger store. Moving on, coming in it was pretty busy. I arrived around 3pm. My son bought a gum ball from the $.25 machine at the front of the store. We move onto to shopping and here comes a worker who is sweeping the store. I hear her say something to my son but it was out of my direct ear shot. I asked my older daughter what she said and she said it was something along the lines of "eating candy before paying. Uh oh." Ok, well I disregarded the comment because I assumed she was being funny with them. Well we travel to the next aisle and this darn lady said it again! This time where I could clearly here what she is saying. I immediately got angry. Seriously, I can pay for my $1 items and besides that he didn't even "steal" it like she was trying to imply. I couldn't believe it. I snapped at her but I don't think she said anything back not she probably care either way. Such a shame. My cashier was super friendly though. I should've complained on the spot to a manager but at I was so mad and just wanted to get out that I didn't even think of doing it. Needless to say, I will never visit this store again. read more

The old lady looked us and my friends the entire time we were in the store. She wanted every reason to kick us out. My friend accidentally dropped a toy he was thinking on buying but the lady got angry and kicked us out. I believe she had racist intent cause we were people of color. read more

My husband and I were buying some snacks and my husband picked out some candy and when he ate one it was stail , so he tried to return it we had our receipt and they refused to take it back cause we left the store . Distracted by shopping and an urgent phone call, I did not notice that my 13 year old had picked up a roll of paper towels and was tossing it in the air and catching it. Rather than politely ask him not to, a worker named Josephine yelled at him. My husband and I were quick to apologize and tell my son he knows better but also told the worker that she could have asked him nicely and not yelled at him. She proceeded to laugh at us, mock us, and imply that we were bad parents. When I explained that my son has ADHD she laughed, roller her eyes, and said "oh yeah" sarcastically. She didn't seem to get how inappropriate her behavior was. We asked to talk to her manager who looked at us like "oh well". I will never shop here again. read more

This dollar tree is huge and you can select from a variety of products. I've noticed over the years these products have improved and are more durable. The store itself is usually clean and organized. The staff is usually busy at work, but can help you locate a item if needed. I usually try to shop at dollar tree if prices are better than Walmart. Why not get the best for your buck? read more

The only thing that kinda bugs me is I'm always finding the manager yelling at someone who is accused of stealing outside the store. Your not loss prevention and a few bucks out the door isnt worth an altercation. My mom works at the dollar store on E. Yosemite and she works very had to keep it clean. People don't keep there kids under control and they mess up the isles way to much. William,Mary,and Stephanie are great with people . They have food selections of card and candy. Otherwise I love the dollar store. read more

I came here the other day to get some Tupperware and pretty much what I can say about this place is that it is like a giant yard sale. They have some useful stuff here and you get it for $1.00 so that is a good bargain. Just be prepared for a shortage of carts, shortage of staff, and very long lines. Most of the time I come here I have something in my mind that I am looking for but I always find more stuff. I mean customer service is normal. You get your stuff and they ring you up. Doesn't get more basic than that. the cashiers seem overwhelmed (don't blame them) but nice enough. What can I say? It is the dollar store. This particular location does have alot of good stuff that can be useful so that is good. It also has it's share of junk though. The have a good selection of giftbags and they are just as nice as the ones you might pay like $3.00 for. The have alot of hygiene and kitchen items as well. Absolutely no customer service here! The staff thinks its ok to gab when the line is to the back of the store and there is a huge mess everywhere. Don't bother going to the manager and asking for help because she is the worst offender of poor service! The manager I dealt with also thinks that the customers that shop at the dollar store are trash! Yes she actually put me down for shopping there making me feel 2 inches tall until I realized I as the customer pay her pay check (and yes I let her know that)and will no longer do so because the franchise has no respect for its customers either. I filled a discrimination poor service report with corporate (along with 3other customers)and nothing was done. ... ~I think that what is lacking today is real customer service.the respect that ,we the consumer that pay their pay check have a right to ask for them not to be rude and disrespectful. This should not be tolerated something has to be said in order to say we as humans deserve respect regardless of color race income etc... The only way to change something is to say something the more the better.
