GETTING HERE: Located in the Santa Paula Shopping Center (accessed from Harvard or Main). In the center of property between Vons and Panda. REVIEW: This Dollar Tree is an easy 2.5 stars. Oddly, it varies visit to visit based on how many employees they have on the floor and sometimes could be a 3.5, on a very good day. Now, I understand we're in 2024 and things are very different and things change. I get that. However, it's a hit and miss with this location. Whether we're talking about shelves being stocked, see ^any employee around to ask a question, having 1 checker with a line of customers to the back of the store. I get it. In reading other reviews, I agree that the store is laid out very well and the aisles are widely spaced and this location does not have a refrigerated section. In my experience of shopping at other stores and other competitors, this location seems to be on the greater end of selling cleaning supplies and the like. If you're looking for something specific, this might not be your best choice to shop. But, if you're killing time and need some general items, you'll hopefully have success here. read more

Out of all the Dollar Tree store that I have been in, this one has got to be the most dirty and unorganized. The staff is about as friendly as a min. wage job earner can be, I guess. I've never had a bad experience here but they need to do something about these long lines. They have what I'm looking for, for the most part but sometimes you have to go looking down other aisles. read more

I stopped in this particular Dollar Tree to pick up a few things while recently in Santa Paula. It is surprisingly large and spacious inside. The isles are very wide and the store is very well maintained. The only disappointment was that they did not have any refrigerated or frozen food items, which I have typically seen in other Dollar Tree locations. read more

I left a review several months ago about an employee Jose and how he was rude and not helpful. I haven't seen him there in a while. I do need to say the customer service has improved. There is an employee there named Sandy who went above and beyond. I had a large order and she was incredible!!! Sandy gathered smaller boxes for me since I had a small car. Sandy bagged and boxed my items, put them on a cart and brought them out to my car. Sandy even put them in my car! I was so impressed with Sandy's customer service. She was so kind, friendly and professional, and had a smile on her face the entire time!!! Sandy may have changed my mind about this store, plus the fact the store was pretty well stocked. I actually really like this dollar tree as far as stock. They have good cards, gift bags, big packages of ramen, good craft section. I just wish they had the self-checkout machines. There is only 1 or 2 cashiers and the line is always long. Thanks! read more

I like shopping at this store but there seems to be a lot more cons than pros. So first let me point out the cons, 1st The store has a tendency to be closed during the middle of the day when they are supposed to be open. 2nd no matter how long the line gets they only keep one register open. Very seldom do the open a second one. 3rd The bathrooms are horrible and always dirty. Who knows they probably don't clean them. 4th they well try not to let people in close to closing time rather than waiting tell they are actually closed. As for the pros there's not much I can say other than the employee at the register are usually polite. They always have a smile and good hospitality. The store is usually in decent order but you can't expect a place like this to be in top notch when they cant even keep the store open when it's supposed to be. I'd like to see some improvements and maybe even company policy's improved. Maybe the district or regional manager should do there job and make sure they area is properly ran. read more

Came here looking for some Thanksgiving/Fall décor for the house and came out purchasing fake flowers and a vase and white rocks for the dining table for about $7. Not bad and it looks great at home. The store was a good size and appears to be organized enough but feels a bit dirty. There was also only one cashier open but doesn't seem to be a problem since there weren't that many people shopping there. Was looking for a nice-ish fall wreath which I did not find. They sold a cheap looking "wreath" with a few fake vines circled and tied together the size of a bracelet hah. read more

This is a fairly large Dollar Tree, but they still don't have that much useful stuff, mostly just cheap junk, as you might expect. A lot of the food items are a great price, but there are still many that are just reduced in size to appear cheap, but really they are higher unit price than if you had bought them at the grocery store. Also, there is not much to be said for organization - stuff kind of piled everywhere, but this is common at these places. Still, a great place to pick up a couple of cheap things, just try not to go over board... 50 things at $1 is still $50 spent. read more

Dollar Tree in Santa Paula needs to hire people who actually want to work. They always have long lines and only one cashier. Another employee was sitting by the registers playing on her cell phone when she could of easily got up off her butt and help ring up customers. The store is always dirty. Worse customer service ever from the assistant manager Julie. My child picked up a chew toy that was on the floor when she picked it up it squeeked n from across the store this lady yelled that unless we where gonna buy the toy we could not play with it. After that we came across the same lady in an aile n tried to get by she told us we needed to wait or go around cuz she was putting merchandise away. When i was checking out i asked cashier for manager. To my surprise it was the same person Julie. I was besides myself. 1st and last time i go to this store unless this person is no longer employeed or demoted. I called n spoke to a d ifferent assistant manager n she was amazing n could not stop apologizing for what had happen. Great store for many reasons. Party supplies are what I usually score on. Nice cashiers, needs a bit of organizing etc. But it's a $ store so all exceptable. It's keeps me in town vs shopping out of the city. read more

i really love coming here as a kid and now i also come in my teenage year's to the the dollar tree but they always close the door's 5 min before the closing time some of the worker's are rude except this lady whos name is Sandra she is the nice'is person there and there always ruing out of helium for balloons and im every sad to say i will never be shopping there aging if you want better shopping experience go to the dollar tree in Fillmore or the locations in Oxnard they don't close at 9:00pm like this location they close at 10:00pm a nether good store related to the dollar tree is the 99 cent store only they may have pricey things but they never disappoint and they close at 10:00pm hope this was help full!! read more

I was there on sunday afternoon with my sister, the long was very long, young man at register 1 asked for back up, the assistant manager, a lady, came to the register, my sister walked up got in her line and she said register 1 is open and she was very rude and would not cash us out!!
