There is a reason Dollistic doesn't get negative reviews. After my first microblading session I ended up very unhappy with the results. This was part due to my inability to articulate my wants and in part due to a new artist. I was ready to give up and wait it out until the brow faded enough to get it redone in a year or two. I asked for a refund and Emily begged me to come in and meet with her, promising to either redo the brows in a way I would like more or a removal. Emily listened to my concerns and ended up redoing my brows herself, including an additional touch up. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the results. after doing my research and following a previous employer on social media I was pleased to finally have a consultation. Now, ladies and gentlemen we all know how imperative to build a relationship with anyone who will be working on any part of our face especially eyebrows which can make or break your whole look. Following a great consultation, I had a little wait to get my first session (it was worth the wait) I had a great experience loved the outcome and trusted her work! However, on December 1st I received a call from Nikko who gave a little more information than a professional is inclined to. He informed me that my previous eyebrow goddess (Lizzeth) had left without giving a notice in the midst of working on a client. He gave me no further options and demanded I keep my appointment with Emily. I was caught off guard due to the aggression in THIS IS HOW IT IS GOING TO GO FOR YOUR NEXT VISIT persona that I received from him. After, it lingered on me that I was not comfortable in working with someone who I had never seen their work and also the fact that again, I wasn't given an option. Also, I feel that I do not need a post-op so soon. After many attempts of calling and receiving no response, I decided to direct message their Instagram page to further discuss my options. Thank goodness for technology, I was able to see the message had been "read". Yet again, I didn't receive a call nor response. Another unprofessional incident occurred when multiple employees began sending me requests on my personal Instagram again rather than reaching out and responding to my calls now direct message. 19 days later, Today December 20 Emily called and left a voicemail again stating that the woman whom I had previously worked with walked out without giving any notice and my appointment will be same time/day with her. Again, not giving me any options. I called Emily back and throughout our discussion she was too busy attempting to investigate if I had a personal relationship with my previous lady rather than cancel my appointment and refund me for my appointment in which I want to cancel. She then began to raise her voice and dismissing me as a client. Emily then tried to threaten me and stated that she was recording this message and will use it against me. For those who are not educated in this matter, unless it is a federal matter (which in this case it isn't) if a call is being recorded it must be stated in the beginning of a phone conversation and given consent to the second party. Overall it is unethical to threaten someone in a matter that holds no water. Emily obviously does not care about her clients happiness and is very childish. I cannot fathom the fact that they responded this way and became so aggressive in demanding I keep my appointment. Client happiness isn't what she cares about . read more

What can I say about this place that isn't evident in their pictures.... 20 years ago I over plucked my brows- as is the curse with any girl who grew up in the 90's- I've tried everything to get them to look half as good as they do now... with half the success. I stumbled upon their IG on accident and was INSTANTLY hooked into microblading. It's a semipermanent makeup that gets drawn on to your brows with a device that looks like a pen. When I originally tried booking my appointment I tried to get Emily, but she was booked so I chose to go with one of their Premier artists, Christina-- I am SO glad I chose her! She took the time to go over photos of brows I had on my phone, measured my bone structure and drew on my brows till we decided on a shape. I was insanely nervous when I first got there, but Christina quickly made me feel like one of her girlfriends and the session was relatively painless. I am so happy with my brows now!! The entire staff at Dollisitic is incredible. They are just as excited about your permanent makeup as you are and they are so supportive, energetic and positive. But, that's not even what drove me to write this. My artist was Meagan Simonaire and we had a typical first appointment followed by a complementary follow up. Both times, I was there for several hours but it barely felt like it. They were so warm and accommodating and they understand you're making a relatively permanent decision on your face. Lizzeth is fantastic! She was so sweet when greeting me and making sure I felt comfortable with the entire procedure, answering and clarifying my questions. The initial procedure wasn't too bad. The pain is more like a deep scratch, but if you've had tattoos, it's really nothing. She was very assuring when I was a bit shocked by how dark it initially was, and was very comforting when she checked up on me a few days later to see how I was doing. Updated review after Emily Joy's response: I had two touch ups. One to correct my first botched job by a Dollistic technician named Chastity who has since been let go, and a second one by Emily Joy herself. Emily said I would need a third touch up to continue correcting the lopsided eyebrows and that she would do it herself, complimentary. However, when I called to schedule the touch up, I was told that I would have to pay full price. This was confirmed while I was placed on hold and the woman on the phone asked Emily. Emily's videos and information regarding fading came years after I had my brows done (presumably bc of complaints), no information of the sort was ever provided to me. Like I said, microblading fades and there is no way to know how yours will fade. It can fade red, green, and gray. Microblading over the discolored "shading" that occurs does not get rid of it. Do your research and stick with your eyebrow pencil. read more

I was hesitant to write this review because I think Holly is great and my brows look good. I do have a negative view of their management and policy/procedures. I had a complementary follow-up with Holly for microblading. I live out of state and had to book a flight for this session. A couple of days prior to my appointment, I was in contact with someone who was in a COVID protocol situation. As such, I could not meet the COVID requirements on their questionnaire so I contacted them to reschedule. Delta was very accommodating and let me reschedule my flight with no fees. Dollistic, however, charged me $150 (mind you after paying full price for the original session)! I did not consent to this charge and they charged my credit card on file anyway! If they truly care about the safety of their staff and clients, they should be flexible with this policy as nearly almost EVERY other business is during this pandemic. read more

I have been thinking of Microblading for a while but have been so nervous about committing to anything permanent on my face. But then I heard of Dollistic from a friend, co worker and dermatologist and I started following them on instagram. I ended up booking my appointment, following all the pre care instructions to a T ...except I didn't realize that one of the ingredients in my face wash was glycolic acid (read your face wash ingredients!!). Emily was so kind and complimented me for following all the instructions but then helped me to realize where I went wrong and warned me they would likely fade more than usual before my touch up appointment but that she would offer me as many appointments as it took to get me to where I wanted to be. I just had my touch up appointment in which I definitely followed all the pre care instructions (including just cetaphil for face wash) and I had the best experience ever. They look amazing, it was absolutely painless, and Emily was so sweet, kind, funny and professional. I can definitely see why the pre and post care instructions are so important so you should definitely follow them! However, I thought it was incredibly kind and professional of Emily to offer me another appointment following my touch up for free if necessary, since my first appointment didn't take, even though it was my fault! I just had my eyebrows microbladed by Meagan. I am beyond happy. She is a true artist and professional. She spent a lot of time drawing and measuring my eyebrows so they would be perfect. The actual time spent microblading was far less than the time spent making sure they would be perfect. There was no pain and the recovery was nothing. It is such a joy to wake up every day with perfect eyebrows and saves so much time with makeup. My two daughters are planning to make appointments as soon as they can because they love how mine came out. I would recommend Meagan to anyone. This is well worth the money going to the best. Before you go, make sure you figure out exactly where the parking garage is, my GPS had trouble finding it and I circled the area several times until I found it, you had to go down an unmarked alley to get to it (it is under the grocery store).
