I…read morewent to this salon on November 15, 2023 trying to save some money and booked with a level 1 stylist fresh out of cosmetology school. I deeply regret that decision. I asked for simple curtain bangs and the stylist completely butchered the right side of my hair. She told me she was fresh out of cosmetology school and it honestly showed. The cut was uneven, choppy, and way shorter than I asked for. It was so bad that I have been self conscious about my hair ever since. What makes it worse is that my hair has never been the same. I take very good care of my hair and it used to grow evenly and healthy. Three years later and that section still has not grown back properly. I have had to style around it constantly and it has been extremely frustrating. I trusted this salon and left feeling upset and embarrassed. If you care about your hair at all, I would strongly reconsider booking with a level 1 stylist here. Saving money is not worth dealing with damage that lasts for years.

Don't expect clear communication about the pricing. Instead of being told what I was going to pay, I was asked twice if I had read the website. The website includes photos, and four tabs. One of the tabs is services and that does include pricing. The fault is mine for not reading more carefully. That being said, the person doing my service literally never said a number. If you are willing to charge that much, you should be willing to say it out loud to your client. I was told I had to submit a deposit for half of my appointment. When I looked back, I only had to submit a deposit of $89 which was half of my $178 for partial highlights. This didn't help me to realize I'd be charged an extra $550 for my haircut. It was a cruel shock to leave with my hair looking nice to realize my total for the day was $728. Again, the fault is mine for not reading all of the website more carefully, but I hope no one else has to have this cruel shock. This salon is not willing to use spoken words to convey their fees. You will only get this information from the website. This is a shocking lack of professionalism and courtesy.

I asked her to cut it and during the cut she said the scissors weren't sharpened, Now that isn't inherently bad but my hair I felt was cut far shorter than I intended. And the bangs were not what I wanted either. I am not one to speak much about my hair when it's getting cut but I just feel very disheartened by it and while hair grows back, this memory won't be forgotten. Just very disappointed, depressing and sad all around. Brought me to light tears. At the cost of almost $100 I would expect better professionalism when it comes to a customer's hair and making sure you're cutting it according to their wishes. What made matters worse is that they do not accept walk-ins, which would be fine if they were actually responsive. I called three separate times and not a single call was answered. No callback, no communication, nothing. Because I couldn't get through to anyone, I had no choice but to go there in person just to ask about appointment availability--only to be told they don't take walk-ins. The lack of basic customer service and communication is unacceptable. If you expect people to schedule ahead, the least you can do is answer your phone. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend unless you have a lot of time and patience to deal with the hassle.

Their original location was in Southtown but recently they made a new move and open up a new airstream/hair salon studio off of Broadway just behind the Ranch Motel. This airstream is bigger than the original one and feels more spacious. They work by appointment only so make sure to schedule an appointment through their Square site. Weather you are looking for a new cut, or just a little trim I can assure you William will get the job done. He is absolutely amazing and always makes sure that you leave happy and feeling great. He has also helped us with my kid's haircut and has been super patient and kind with him. My kid is neurodivergent and haircuts can be very hard on him, but William always tries to make sure he feels as comfortable as possible, which I truly appreciate. Highly recommend checking them out for your next haircut need!
