I do not recommend this company. I attempted to use the service twice and both were a bad experience that wasted my time. The first time I waited several hours for my product to get delivered. They were so late it was pathetic. The one guy they sent tried delivering my full sized sectional in a 5.5 bed pickup. He was totally unprepared for to move the furniture. The 2nd time, they were 1.5 hours late for scheduling the pickup. I called and they hadn't even scheduled a delivery person yet so I cancelled the order. No contact, no call, nothing.. Just dead silence as I wait for their "On Demand" service. For an "On Demand Service" dolly is missing the mark as to what "On Demand" actually means. If you are simply exploiting the convenience factor of "On Demand" and not actually delivering the convenience of "On Demand", it is a scam. You are misleading folks. At least update your literature with an accurate and honest "dolly" time frame and other helpful info. Example: Expected Delivery Time: 7am-7pm - Please allow dolly at least 12 hours of time for scheduling delivery personnel and delivery. We appreciate your flexibility. Occasionally dolly has scheduling conflicts and more time is needed for your dolly. Reach out with any questions and we will update you regularly about your dolly. But saying the above disclosures reduces you to a regular moving company and removes the "On Demand" convenience factor your are capitalizing on. Either do it or don't.. Don't just say it and then not deliver the convenience. Wise words from someones granny: "To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late and to be late is to be rude!" I won't be suckered into this "On Demand" delivery service again. As far as your partners like, Big Lots, I'll be filing a complaint with them too. They shouldn't be using you if you are wasting their customers time! read more

Extremely Disappointed - Poor Service and Lack of Accountability I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Dolly was incredibly disappointing and deserves to be shared. I booked a pickup and delivery several days in advance to ensure a smooth move. Despite plenty of lead time, Dolly failed to secure a helper. I received last-minute notifications asking me to reschedule, which completely derailed my plans. Communication was vague, confusing, and slow. There is no direct phone support, making it almost impossible to resolve urgent issues. To make matters worse, after hours of back and forth, I had to cancel because the store I was picking up from closed, meaning I missed the window entirely because Dolly could not fulfill their service commitment. This experience was not only inconvenient, it was stressful, costly, and left me scrambling at the last minute without any real assistance or ownership from their team. 9/5/2018 Welp, I'm easy to please. Second time using Dolly; the guys show up on time, worked safely, packed and unpacked heavy items, and get things done in a straight manner. Thank you 2/21/2018 Our appointment was at 3:30 pm at the seller house but the guy showed up 45-55 min earlier with a Tacoma. We got a dresser, queen bed frame and a nightstand. Instead of abiding the contract, he decided to disassembled the frame, partially load it in his truck, refused to load all items and think he can make a second trip. I loaded the dresser and nightstand in my car just stop the nickle and dime game. I approved one additional charge to value his effort. But man, hes after a second additional charge now. Given an inch and taking a mile much? TLDR: Buyers! Beware of the extra charges! read more

We ordered furniture from big lots and we were told we had to use a third party delivery service to have our items delivered. Here we are 48 hours later with no furniture. It is crucial that I have my items delivered. My husband is undergoing a major surgery and won't be able to walk up our stairs. So hence the reason why we needed our items delivered on time. We contacted customer service only to be put on hold and then hung up on after explaining our situation. Extremely unhappy with this service. Maybe it would help if they didn't overbook themselves and give false hopes on a scheduled delivery that was paid ahead of time with a very nice tip.very unhappy at how it was handled. read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Scheisty employees. Weak, and slow running company. They don't know what they're doing and they'll hire anyone to do jobs for them. Some absolute crap shoot employees who have no training, or any idea what they're doing. You want your stuff destroyed? Use this service! They claim to have great customer service, but all employees in person are rude as well as the customer service department on the phone. This was the easiest thing I've done in a very long time! As someone that buys frequently at estate sales, this is the best app to have! I bought a huge piece of furniture, and there was no way I could move it alone. Inside of 30 minutes, I had a truck and two men to move the item ready to go. They were friendly, extremely professional, and had it loaded carefully in no time! When we got to the storage unit, they unloaded it, helped me with any last questions, and were on their way. loved this app and it's ease of use. The movers where on time and charged a fair price for the work done. Was glad to pay it hope the coverage of the service area grows everywhere. Lots of people need this service. Great opportunity for some college age students to use their muscles to make some cash as well. The straps they use now makes it safer for the lifts. I found Dolly on internet looking for help with my move. Comparing prices with other similar services, Dolly is very competitive and fairly priced. I already had Penske truck for my move (2 bedroom apartment) and needed just moving labor. The two helpers I hired via Dolly were very nice and helpful. They even helped me take apart a bunk bed which didn't fit in the doorway with their own tools. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone! read more

Woohoo! As good as it gets! I scheduled at 12:10 pm on a Friday and by 12:25 pm my time had been confirmed for 3 to 3:30 pm. My team showed up at 3 pm on the dot & had my 7 items (a couple bigger things, love seat, matching chair & ottoman, a couple mirrors a lamp etc) moved by 3:45 pm. Super nice, very careful & SO FAST!! Learned about Dolly one day from friend, used the next day and will use again. What a great service that I highly recommend. We had a very heavy, triple dresser moved from lower level up the circular stairs into garage and a smaller one moved down the circular stairs. A bit tricky and challenging and although they weren't exactly like having professional movers, I was very satisfied with the job. Great value! read more

This is a really great service. You download the Dolly app, enter basic details about what you need done and then you get a price to do the work. We had a 200 pound mattress delivered JUST TO THE CURB! We need the existing mattress and frame moved to a basement bedroom. That cost $74! I'll use them again and again. read more
