They're WAY overpriced. We worked with them to try to get the project started for three weeks then gave up. They wanted 100% of our money before the project even began. We ended up going through Whole Wood in San Carlos for our hardwood and we worked with Rolando Lopez at Pure Wood Flooring to complete the project. They were amazing! No joke, we got more done in one day with them than three weeks with the Floor Store. Stay far away from the Floor Store unless you want overpriced material and slow, ineffective communication.

Our original plan was to have him install Home Depot flooring but after seeing the higher quality, but not too much more expensive, flooring that he could supply we ended up going with that. Andro communicated clearly during the bid process, and was willing to price out a few different options for us. When it came time to do the work, we had a bit of a surprise, in that our subfloor needed a *lot* of prep work before the floor could be installed. Andro and his team took this in stride and quickly adjusted our estimate for the extra work. The end result completely met our expectations - and it should be noted that doing bathrooms is not easy as doing it right means removing the toilets. Andro's team also had to tackle a staircase which required some cosmetic repairs and paint, but had no problems delivering a clean result. In the end, the work was finished on time and with care - Andro gets our two thumbs up!

Shuan claimed that the they can also do the staining on my stairs to match the main floor color, well that was a disaster because the color was too dark and dreary. Shuan also claimed by adding more white the gray color would lighter so I opted not to continue with the staining of my stairs. The bottom line is DG flooring did a great job on my flooring installation but do not allow them to do any staining of wood whatsoever. My advice is to hire an expert painting and staining contractor

Floors were pre-finished bamboo installed by the previous owner - badly. They had nail holes, gaps, etc.. Thankfully, they were solid wood. The Elephant Floors team was able to sand them and fill the holes and gaps, and they looked awesome after refinishing! They also replaced all the trim afterwards with white painted pine (per request.) Completely happy - price was competitive, quality great. Will totally use them again in the future!

Our contractor did their job with picking up the RIGHT BOXES, inspecting that the material is not broken and is in good shape, and installed the material given to them. It turned out that the color of the floor is clearly wrong/mixed up. When we reached out to Tiffany, she kept blaming our contractors for not inspecting prior to installing, and claimed that it's our contractors' liability for installing faulty floors. BUT THESE ARE THE FLOORS THAT YOU SELL TO US. Would definitely not recommend this store to anyone for the quality of the material that they are selling.

I bought engineered hardwood floors here 8 years ago. Service at the store was very good and they…read morehad a wide selection. 5 stars for the store. We had Andy (same family runs the store) do the installation. Again 8 years ago. So you can get an idea of the durability of the job. The installation was done mostly well and has held up all this time. I had also got quotes from Slater Floors and one more place I don't remember. Andy from Perfect Flooring was the lowest bid and the only one who said they would move the washer and dryer out to put flooring underneath and put it back. The others said that either we had to move them out or they would put hardwood around it. Now the (small) issues. When Andy came to give a quote, he said that the concrete floor (covered by carpet) looked level. During the job, after they removed the carpet, the crew saw that the floor was not level. Andy told the crew to stop the work until after I paid additional $2500 to level the floor. That's ok because it is additional work, but what happened to his professional opinion that the floor looked level when he gave the bid. In some places the planks have small gaps between them. I emailed Andy during the job. Without responding to that, he sent an email reminding me that payment is due! After more complaints, he had the crew fix some of it (it was already glued together). Maybe this was a problem with the product (tongue and groove not fitting well), but I did not buy cheap floors from them. For the edging, the crew put glue and left it. No weight to hold it down. They are not perfectly flat. So they popped out without bonding in a few days. They had to come back and nail it. A few years later a few more glued edging pieces popped off. They can be nailed like the others. So not a major problem. Once during the job when I came to check, I noticed the crew smoking inside the garage while working. Besides these small issues, the floor has held up well. No buckling or issues like that. So 4 stars for the installation.
